Not super pigmented on first application, but this one is meant to be built up if you want a defined bronzed look. The fact that it’s not super pigmented means you can create a soft & simple look. The bag itself has a nice color but is somewhat plasticky in execution, though not as bad as the purple one was. The content then, very many products. I like that. Lots of value and no exaggerated price if you compare with some others this year. A couple of mini products, one of which is the kind I like and the other just a nicer sample (good brand). It feels like a very positive start but I won’t rate the product as a whole just yet, because I first want to feel, touch and test a bit. This one contains some eyeshadows that I know have been requested from previous lovables comments. Don’t remember who wrote that, but thanks. I love constructive criticism, especially when it means we now get to test two interesting eyeshadows. Hickap has also been a brand I’ve appreciated several products from before and that I like, so I will test that very soon. Otherwise, I need to think about which products I want/need or if I should be a bit kind because I know I have others who want things from this. I’ve already put the aftersun out in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom where we keep such things. Might be needed soon as it’s going to be very warm this weekend. Hair: #bjornaxen volume shampoo, washed yesterday but it stays fresh longer and is just so good. #hickap mist, to get that lovely peach scent. Face: #lumene powder foundation, powder and stick as base #lenoites mascara and lip liner, the latter a new test for me, which came in a #lovable recently (still available to buy). A bit strong color but I think the pencil is incredibly great. So easy to handle and you can make both thinner and thicker lines without problems. #sweed lipstick and blush where the latter is new from the same #lovable as the lip liner. Fantastic brand and the blush didn’t disappoint me either. Maybe a bit strong color but you can take a little at a time and build up. The theme for these and the day is "peach". Body lotion from Glöd seems to no longer be available, this was included in a #lovables. Not a huge loss. The product takes a bit longer to absorb but when it does, it’s good and only faintly smells of peach, a classic 3. Good basic product but nothing wow. Hickap hair mist smells fresh even a few hours later, so high marks for scent but doesn’t add extra freshness to the hair. However, I tested the product on hair that should have been washed. First I used some dry shampoo and an hour later this mist. Now the hair looks dull and a bit greasy again. I’d say it should mostly be used on washed hair. The scent is definitely good. I think I’ve already mentioned that Sundae was a disappointment. The scent doesn’t last long enough for my taste but it is a mist and not a perfume. One of the main notes is peach. I will use it up but probably won’t buy this one again. Otherwise, Sundae is a nice brand. Smuuti is a good cream. Absorbs quickly into the skin. Has a nice light feel when you apply it and I haven’t had any reactions, pimples, or dryness switching to this. My face gratefully accepted it and seems to appreciate the product. Of the products I’ve tested from Smuuti so far, my skin has just said yes right away. Foundation stick, 1w cotton and 2c champagne. The stick is easy to use, the formula is creamy and soft which makes it easy to blend. Both colors fit me spot on. I like that it doesn’t feel on the skin and the result looks nice and I am satisfied. But for me, they don’t last all day despite setting spray and powder. Blush stick Rosewood is a creamy blush with a nice color. Easy-to-work-with texture that gives a nice result. Doesn't feel anything on the skin but can be a bit sticky at first though. Blur touch-up stick that is supposed to counteract shine. Brand new hairstyle
Took the chance to shed some weight before the trip home. Now at least my head feels a bit lighter, considering all the good food there's a risk I still gained some despite the hotel gym. ❤️ My classic go-to when it comes to makeup. New evening new look
Today I let the eyeshadow from artdeco serve as a base and enhanced it with a few more colors from the hickap palette. On the lips, I chose hickaps blush & lip and clarins on top today. I just refreshed the mascara. It is truly waterproof. Swam in the pool, worked out at a gym where the AC wasn’t working – it was absurdly hot and I sweated a lot. Of course, I showered afterward and the mascara was still exactly where it should be. Has potential!
I got so tempted to try this one evening, let it sit for about 10 minutes to see how it colors the lips! The result was a nice, natural tint that stays on nicely, though a bit uneven, maybe you should prepare the lips a bit better before applying. The formula feels soft and pleasant, and above all really moisturizing on the lips! ☺️ I look forward to trying it in other situations to see how long-lasting it is and if the color can become even more intense. Lip tint SHOCK 💋
Hickap has launched lip tint and in the video I test the shade "burnt sienna" I usually don’t use lip tint because I prefer slightly lighter cool shades on my lips. But I like the idea of a gloss that then leaves a color. I think the color was just strong enough, and I wiped off the gloss maybe a minute after application. However, I have noticed that my lips get dry already after the first application of the product.
