An advent calendar has been shopped! I've only used the shower oil from Loccitane and I absolutely love it. I've always wanted to try more from them but never really knew what to buy next – so I was so happy that they have a calendar with 24 doors for only 999 kr! It was really just recently that I posted empties last time, but as I mentioned then, I had many more that would soon be finished. So now I have to post a new one again. I'm going to Ullared this weekend, so I want to reduce everything I can before then. Glow - nice peach scent and during this summer/fall it has kept my legs unusually nice, and if I just moisturized, I have rarely been really dry. This also came in a lovable box and is not sold on Lyko as a single product. Body scrub - I prefer one of their other scents. This one suits those of you who want a fragrance-free variant. Lyko shower gel, thought it was good at first but in the end it foams poorly and you have to work more for it... or use it to shave as some have recommended. Also got tired of the scent, too sweet for me but it comes in more scents, choose one of the others – they are better. Saborino - these came in a lovable box and I liked them. 1-minute mask is perfect. You always have time for it. Milk - this was not a favorite. Must be shaken well otherwise it became grainy and when shaken well I thought it got a bit sticky, almost oily and often made my mascara smudge more even though I usually use waterproof or under. Morphe - setting powder, this is really good but you probably prefer a bit more matte than glow. Dr.Ceuracle - a good ampoule and I preferred this over their PDRN but still feel like I want to try another one now. I clicked this home because the price was so good and I wanted to try a new bronzer, Morphe is a brand I really like and have shopped from for many years. It had been a while, so it was simply time! 😍 The stars reveal what I think about the product: absolutely top class, especially considering the low price. You get two incredible bronzers that perform so well in my opinion. But it’s not just the content that’s good, also the design, because first of all it’s pretty but I love that there’s a small lid over the creamy bronzer and that there’s a big mirror inside, you can tell Morphe really makes makeup and design that’s well thought out 🥰 The cream bronzer is incredible, it leaves a natural result and really melts into the skin, easy to blend out and doesn’t feel heavy or dirty on the skin. 👏🏼 The powder bronzer gives an instant sun-kissed result that can be built up. 👍🏼 In the pictures, Maui Surf looks really light but it’s a bit darker. I think many people find it too light and therefore might choose another color, I was close to doing the same! This powder is really good and suits me very well!🤍 It has a nice and light texture that applies evenly on the skin without feeling cakey. I especially like that it gives a smooth and natural finish, while reducing shine and making the makeup look more polished throughout the day. The powder also works very well to set foundation and concealer, and I find that the makeup stays better in place without the skin feeling dry. It’s easy to apply and can be built up as needed, whether I want a light result or a bit more mattness. Convenient size and beautiful colors!
The first time I used the palette, I wasn’t convinced at all. But after using it for a while, I have a completely different feeling. It’s really nice! The colors are very pretty, I’m a fan of burgundy tones, and that’s exactly what this has. They aren’t very pigmented but are easy to build up and blend out. The metallic shadow is really nice and can be intensified if you use it with a damp brush. The other two shadows are a bit powdery, but if I use an eye primer, it stays in place all day without falling down. The palette is the perfect size to throw in your bag or take on a trip, and even though there are only three different shadows, you can create a variety of looks with it. I’ve honestly never tried such a good setting spray, you can use it before makeup as a prep. But I choose to just finish with it. My makeup lasts like NEVER before. And sure, I’ve had other setting sprays that were great and delivered! But what I’ve experienced with this one specifically is that it also helps the makeup, for example, not crease. This one is definitely on par with other setting sprays I’ve had that cost around $40-$50 and even better. Yeah, you hear it yourself. I’ve definitely found a new favorite and must-have in my makeup bag. So this does something for/with the face… the makeup lays so much nicer. Gives a natural glow that looks like it’s coming from within. Wow! I have no words… try it and see for yourself is all I have to say. There is however ONE downside, I think! Maybe a preference thing? Friday, so we're going for a slightly more festive look with eye makeup! 🪩 I only used Morphe's palette and started with 'Taupe Tier' to mark and define the outer edge of the eyelid. Then I applied 'Hush Money' from the inner corner of the eye out to about halfway across the eyelid to brighten the look since I have hooded eyes. Finally, I used 'Highbrown' to create a sharp and defined eyeliner. All with Hickaps' 'Classic eye set' brushes. They make it so easy to get an eye makeup look because they are so perfectly cut!
