✨🤍 Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant 🤍✨ I have really fallen for Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, and it has become a natural part of my morning routine! ✨ It is a unique rice-based enzyme powder that activates upon contact with water. Only a very small amount of product is needed, which quickly foams up between the hands before being massaged onto cleansed skin. The product is incredibly easy to use and feels luxurious despite its simple application! 😍 What I appreciate the most is how gentle it is. I am very sensitive when it comes to exfoliating products and often get red and irritated, but with this one, I only experience a very slight redness that almost disappears immediately. It doesn’t feel rough or harsh on the skin at all, but provides a mild and pleasant exfoliation! ✨ After use, the skin feels incredibly clean, soft, and fresh, and I clearly notice it gets a nice glow. ✨ I use it every morning and love that fresh, even feeling it leaves behind! The product has no noticeable scent, which I personally appreciate a lot! 🤍 Although the packaging contains 13 grams, it lasts a long time because so little product is needed each time. Vitamin-C that doesn’t smell good?!
Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow Serum was one of the serums I received in my lovable along with LayGlow, and it has been very exciting to test. The serum contains 15% vitamin C (ascorbic acid) as well as the antioxidants vitamin E and ferulic acid, which both help to stabilize the vitamin C and protect the skin from external stressors. The product is aimed at all skin types and is supposed to contribute to increased radiance, a more even skin tone, reduced pigmentation spots, and support the skin’s collagen production! ✨✨ The first thing that impressed me was the texture. The serum is exactly as light as the brand describes it – almost completely water-like. It absorbs incredibly quickly into the skin without feeling sticky or heavy. I use about five drops which I first put in the palm of my hand and then gently pat into my face. Although the brand recommends applying the drops directly to the skin, my method works perfectly for me❣️ What I noticed immediately was the radiance. The skin gets a very nice glow after application and feels fresh and moisturized. Even though I have quite sensitive skin, which can easily react with redness or acne breakouts when I introduce new products, I have not experienced any negative reactions after a few days of use at all. That is definitely a big plus ⭐️ What, however, detracts from the overall impression is the scent. I find it hard to pinpoint exactly what it smells like, but unfortunately, I don’t think it smells particularly good. The scent feels quite strange and is not something I look forward to when applying the product. It does disappear after a while and is fully manageable, but since the user experience is an important part of skincare, it still affects my rating quite a bit.. In summary, Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow Serum is a serum with a fantastic texture, quick absorption, and a really nice glow. It also seems to be gentle even for sensitive skin. Where is the hair color revival?
BHBD Shine Tone – Cool Beige ✨ I bought this based on the promise that it would revive hair color, give a nice shine, and deeply care for the hair – and I would say it actually lived up to two out of three ❣️ The shine really became very nice and the hair felt soft, moisturized, and almost like after a really good hair mask. It was also very easy to apply! ✨ However, unfortunately, I saw no difference in the color at all. I have my natural color at the roots and lengths, with some bleached parts that have started to turn yellowish. I chose Cool Beige to give the bleached lengths a nicer, beige tone – but even though I followed the instructions to the letter, I experienced no color change at all. ✨ So even though the hair became incredibly nice and moisturized, I had expected significantly more from the color aspect. Hickap The Wonder Base Stick – 2C Champagne ✨ I really had high expectations for this, especially since I love many of Hickap’s other products ❣️ The stick has a super creamy and soft texture and is very easy to apply. However, I unfortunately found it surprisingly difficult to blend out and the base settled incredibly cakey on the skin. I have combination, acne-prone skin with a slightly oilier T-zone and unevenness from acne scars, but even with primer, powder, and setting spray I couldn’t get an even result… It also settled easily into lines and highlighted unevenness rather than smoothing the skin 💔 It feels extra disappointing because I was really looking forward to it and like Hickap’s other products so much. Unfortunately, this one did not live up to my expectations at all based on the description. Löwengrip Deep Cleansing Detox Shampoo ✨ I bought this shampoo because I have long been looking for a truly deep-cleansing detox shampoo that thoroughly cleanses the scalp but still feels moisturizing and gentle ❣️ According to the description, it should deeply cleanse without drying out or irritating, which was exactly what I hoped for. I have used it about once a month when I felt my scalp needed a proper deep cleanse ✨ The scalp definitely gets clean, but unfortunately, I found the shampoo to be very strong. My scalp felt almost irritated and dry after use, even though I usually don’t have a particularly sensitive scalp. The minty scent is also very strong, which I didn’t really like 💔 I was therefore a bit disappointed because I expected a gentler feeling.
