Since I started with pink a few weeks ago, I've felt that I don't want to use the same shade throughout my hair. I've left the blonde in strands or sections because I want to keep that lighter feeling. Yesterday I flipped my head upside down, brushed out my hair, and applied clear conditioner to the outermost 10 cm of the lengths. This was so those parts wouldn't absorb the pink color. Then I mixed clear conditioner with pink, a little cool brown, and a little purple and applied it to the lengths from the roots out to where the clear conditioner was. When I rinsed it out, it seems some of the ends still absorbed a bit of the pink (but probably less than if I hadn’t pre-treated ("saturated") them with regular conditioner first), so the effect was a bit less than I hoped for but nice anyway 🤗🤗 The color is generally stronger closer to the roots, and when I run my hand through my hair, there’s a bit more variation than before 💕 I don’t really recommend mixing color treatments from different brands, but since I still had some purple from Maria Nila and By Lyko doesn’t have any like that, I tried mixing and it worked fine #bylyko #marianila3 products in the look61 views

The pump doesn't work
The first bottle I got didn't work at all, the next one only worked partially. It's easy to make a complaint at LYKO. I think they are flexible and helpful. So when I complained about the bottle, I quickly got a new one. Because the pump was completely defective. The new one I got works partially. The spray consists of a bit of mist and one uneven large squirt. There's also no power in it, so it drips off. I also have to use both hands to press out the spray. The combination means I haven't been able to use it as intended. I sprayed the product into my hands and rubbed it into my hair to see how it looked. It might be borderline heavy for my hair type – which is thin Nordic hair. I think it smells absolutely lovely. It has a pleasant floral scent. But it is too strong for those who don't like or tolerate perfume. I don't want to complain again or throw away the bottle. I want to find another bottle to pour it into. Spraying it into my hands I didn't like that much. I got to test By Lyko’s new fragrance, which is meant for hair and body. In my opinion, this Tropic Like It’s Hot scent is nicely sweet. I especially like how the passion fruit balances the fragrance and adds a delicious tartness! It totally reminds me of a summer vacation 🏖 I was surprised at how long-lasting this is as a body spray – I could still smell it at the end of the day! It’s not too strong though, so the scent doesn’t bother or cause headaches. I had the chance to try this new fragrance from the brand by lyko. I tried the scent Tropic Like It´s Hot, and it really lives up to its name. It’s a very fruity, strong scent with clear notes of, for example, guava. I think it smells very summery and fresh and will definitely be kept out until summer is here again. ☀️ I also think you get a lot for your money since this one is 240 ml, which is very generous. An exciting dupe for Sol de Janeiro
What an exciting concept 😍 A hair and body mist, a perfect combination. I love products that can be used for multiple things. I see many comparing this to Sol de Janeiro, which was also my first thought when I tried it. The scent has many of the same traits and is an exciting alternative at a much nicer price. The mist also has a good spray function that distributes the product evenly and nicely. The scent itself is still not quite me. I like sweet scents, but this one is a bit more intense than I usually prefer. Luckily, I find it becomes significantly milder when sprayed in the hair or on the body than it seems in the bottle. It behaves like a classic body mist. That makes it perfect for a little refreshment during the day 🤩 I really want to try the other scents in the series as well. I have tested the Hair & Body Mist Tropic Like It’s Hot🔥 This is a perfectly sweet, tropical, and summery scent☀️ It gives me a feeling of warmth, sun, and summer, and it’s a scent I think fits especially well when you want something fresh and at the same time sweet🍭 The scent distributes evenly thanks to the spray bottle and lasts almost all day. Too heavy for fine hair strands
Lyko's own Repair Leave-in Cream was too heavy for my hair. And I should have understood that if I had read a bit more carefully what it actually contains before I bought it. My hair is typically Nordic. Very fine hair strands, and very many of them. I have tested it on wet hair, on dry hair, a little in the lengths, and even less in the lengths, but with the same result. The hair gets tired. And greasy. And that's because it contains shea butter. It becomes too heavy for my hair type. Even after a round with detox shampoo first. I think it smells like plastic toys, or My Little Pony for those who remember them. I don't think it fits so well on a hair product. But the scent is not ugly or annoying. I like the design. A sweet jasmine scent that, in my opinion, mimics Rio de Janeiro's 59 fragrance but isn't as strong. The bottle is quite simple in appearance, but I think it fits Lyko's brand. Bloomy Getaway smells really good! It’s soft, sweet, and floral, with a fresh fruitiness from the berries and nice notes of jasmine and flowers. I like that it also feels a bit powdery and cozy. The only downside for me is that the spun sugar note makes it a bit more gourmand than I usually prefer. Sweet and sour scent!
I thought the scent would be a bit more tropical, but instead you are met with a strong and rounded sweet and sour scent. The scent feels quite powerful and strong in some way. If you are sensitive to scents, you probably won’t like it that much. The bottle design is nice, the bottle is easy to use, and you get a lot of product for the price. I have used the mist a few times but don’t really feel it’s a favorite. The scent disappears quickly from the body, in my opinion, but it lingers on clothes for a long time. As a #lykoinflutester, I have tested the Hair and Body Mist Tropic Like It´s Hot 240 ml from the brand #bylyko For me, it’s simply a bit too much and a product I usually don’t use 😅 The scent becomes very sweet and too intense for me. I also find it a bit much to spray both hair and body with such a distinct and strong fragrance. The product itself is very nice for those who like sweet, tropical scents. Personally, this is not something I will use. I prefer a good perfume over spraying a mist on myself. Anyway, I would definitely recommend the product to those who like typical mists. There is a lot of fragrance in this product, and not least, you get a large and good bottle that lasts a long time! Thank you Lyko for giving me the opportunity to test this amazingly wonderful Core Styler! Here are my thoughts and experiences! This styler is really great with its 5 attachments/nozzles to style hair in different looks! Dry, curl, and straighten the hair! A bit about my hair: Coarse strands, untreated, long down to my butt, thick and a bit frizzy! Unruly and takes a lot of time to fix! But this wonderful styler has now changed that! The dryer has a sleek design, is simple and so easy to handle, and weighs almost nothing, it’s so nice! The air feels soft and pleasant, and the hair looks so nice afterward! With its 3 different heat settings, 3 speeds, and cool air, it’s easy to adjust with light presses! The different styling nozzles are easy to attach and remove with a click. I love this styling tool! The hair becomes soft and shiny from the flat brush, a real favorite! It detangles the hair and gives it a nice shine and softness! Blow-drying my hair was a dream, it didn’t take long and the air is really nice for the hair, which becomes airy and beautiful! The round brush was a bit harder with my hair, I think it’s because of the length (maybe the weight). I mostly used it to style the sides back and create soft waves in the lengths. This styler has made me truly love curling my hair! Magical, the airflow around catches the hair and wraps it around the spool, and then you just follow along....😊! And it goes smoothly and fast! I haven't bought this calendar for my husband, even though I've really, really wanted to. So I have to say a few words to those considering buying it. 🏆 I've looked at all the products and I think they all seem great, and some of them I KNOW are. There are well-known brands and some less known, but none of poor quality. 🏆 I also like that there's an electric toothbrush included. That was a fun twist. The perfumes from Nõberu also have very good scents, masculine but fresh. 🏆 There's no typical calendar filler here, like Christmas decorations or scented candles. 😔 But I've realized how hard it is to please all men with a beauty and wellness advent calendar, or a By Lyko Lovables for men for that matter. 😔 My husband doesn't have hair on his head! And that's not unusual for an adult man. In this calendar, I've counted 8 hair products for men. All good. 😔 Other men again don't have beards. And there are three beard products. Also good products. 😔 So if a man has neither beard nor hair on his head, there's not much calendar left. 🏆 I understand it has to be that way. But on the positive side, there's no lubricant included. For many, it's uncomfortable to buy that for, for example, a younger family member. 🎁 But I really recommend it to those who want to buy an advent calendar for a man, whether it's a son, a nephew, a dad, or their loved one. If he has a beard and hair on his head, that is. 🎁 Well, I don't have many problems in life when I get frustrated over an advent calendar. But it is so incredibly nice.
