I've always thought that Urban Decay's original makeup setting spray can't be beaten by anything. This product keeps makeup in place just like the aforementioned one! The only downside for me is that this one is significantly more matte than Urban Decay, and you have to remember to shake it really well before spraying. Pretty Waves
It took a number of attempts before I came to terms with this curling iron, but now it has become a favorite. The iron is big. Like really big. And quite heavy. The little foldable stand (a metal bracket) that it’s supposed to rest on during heating isn’t particularly good at its job. It feels unstable and is also quite tricky to get it to work when you set the iron down in between. I solved it by getting one of those silicone mats that protect the surface instead, so that little concern was out of the world. With its weight, the iron feels solid and well-built. The coating is smooth and shows no signs of wear after a few months of use. The clamp function is easy to operate with the thumb, but at the same time firm enough to hold the hair in place. I also find that it heats up quickly and maintains an even temperature during use. The result then? I of course followed the instructions to the letter, at least the first few times. In the mirror, I saw how I transformed into something of a movie star. Or yeah, I mostly looked like Selma Bouvier, you know, Marge Simpson's one sister. It turned out to be way too much volume in my already thick hair, and the hairstyle grew kind of upward, outward. Not at all the relaxed bohemian look I had imagined. After the iron had a couple of weeks to ponder its sins, I decided to try again. This time something rebellious awoke within me, and I decided to start by curling the hair from the ends up, and simply leave about a decimeter closest to the scalp untouched. Bingo! Now I get exactly the waves I imagined, and it even goes relatively quickly. I’m of course careful with heat protection, work with the hair in sections, finish with some kind of texture spray, and am careful not to touch the hair the first half hour after I’m done. If I follow this procedure, I’m rewarded with fabulous waves on day 1, followed by softer and softer waves in the next 2 days. By day 3, the hair has almost completely relaxed, but still has a bit of movement in it and is just perfect for a half-updo before it’s time to wash. #lykoreviewTranslated from swedish

Fresh, floral scent!
Lyko sent a little tester with a package and I was not disappointed with the gift 😇 The scent is strong, but fresh and very floral. Terrible packaging

This product has long been my go-to blush. I have the shade Orgasm, which is a peach/pink shade with a light gold shimmer. It doesn't glitter on the skin but becomes more of a sheen. Since it is both warm and cool, it is said to suit everyone. (I don't know if that's true, but; the shade suits many!). Buildable, and it looks very beautiful on the skin. Flattering. I don't know how many times I've used this (like countless times), but there's still so much left in the pan. For treated hair
For my, coarse thick hair that hasn't been treated, this feels like a basic leave-in conditioner. Of course, the hair is easy to comb through and soft/smooth after this, but if the hair is already in good condition, the product doesn't add anything extra. Nja, not for me
As summer waits around the corner, I thought it would be lovely to have a shimmering 💃✨ body oil! I actually own three of them, but they have never really been used (I've only tried them). That needs to change! I tried them again this week, and unfortunately, I have to give a low rating for this one. Positives: 💜The oil actually gives a bit of color, I look a bit wonderfully golden tanned! 🏝️ 💜My skin feels soft and smooth after applying this. 💜It doesn't smell particularly strong/much. 💜Good durability. Negatives: 🤍The scent is not good, but a bit musty. 🤍Personally, I think the glitter particles are too big. I prefer a lovely subtle shimmer, but here it's really a lot of glitter. Too much for my taste! 🤍It unfortunately rubs off. That means I actually won't want to use it at all!
