I bought a small sample to be able to test it. Here comes my honest impression. SPOILER ALERT! I might be going against the flow here and I'm sorry to say that I don't like the scent â unfortunately, the result hasn't convinced me either. đ Yes, the oil is super light and the hair doesn't get greasy from it (if used as instructed), I also get a bit of softness. But the shine... nah... it doesn't turn out as promised; I see almost no shine at all â in my hair! And I do NOT have porous hair but thin, yet a lot of it, and also it's just a little frizzy. I didnât expect any miracles here, but thatâs exactly why it pleasantly surprised me â it works just like a good curling iron should. It heats up quickly, is comfortable to use, and without much trouble you can make nice, bouncy curls or softer waves with it. Clean hairbrush and make-up brush
Actually, I donât use solid hand soap to wash my hands. I bought this one to clean my hairbrush and my make-up brush. I saw in a video here in the Lyko community that you can do it like that. I had no idea! So far, Iâve used dish soap, which worked really well! But I like to learn and try new things. đ About the soap: The scent has a 'typical' soap smell, which you neither like nor dislike. I donât like it; there are definitely better hand soap scents. But I only use it for my 2 brushes, so I add a drop of nicely scented dish soap to even out the soap smell. âşď¸ The soap cleans both the hair and make-up brushes well. I like the brand 'Dove', thatâs why I chose it, plus it was on sale. đ Still, I think the result with this one wasnât as good as what dish soap does. The soap also didnât fully dissolve. Maybe a liquid soap is better for the purpose? I liked this Lyko Lovables package! Plus for the affordable price, more packages at this price! The makeup bag is lovely, it would be nice if it were waterproof inside, but it will still be used. The products are nice! A small minus is that there are quite a few similar products again, e.g. two hair masks and several moisturizers, I would like more variety. I think the palette contains very useful and easy-to-wear shades that work both for everyday and party looks. The colors are harmonious and easy to combine, which means I often reach for this particular palette when I do my makeup. However, I would have liked to see a bit more pigment here as well. I feel the shadows require a bit of effort to really come to their own. At the same time, Iâm not the most experienced when it comes to eyeshadow, so it might very well be that Iâm not using the product in the best possible way. For example, I believe the colors could become more intense if applied with a damp brush or if a particularly good eye primer is used underneath. Therefore, I donât want to say itâs a downside of the product itself, but rather that I might get even more out of it with a bit better technique. This is a really nice bronzer with a lovely glow. The color gives a sun-kissed result and looks natural on the skin. However, I prefer to use it on top of my regular matte bronzer instead of alone. The reason is that I find the glow quite intense if used as the only bronzer, especially on larger areas of the face. As a complement on top of another bronzer, it is absolutely fantastic and gives just that extra dimension and glow that makes the makeup feel more alive. I have finally tested these wonderful products long enough to form an opinion on what I think. 𤊠Overall, I am very impressed with the entire collection. I prefer to use it on top of my regular bronzer because I think the glow is a bit too intense if used alone. The only thing I wished for is a bit more pigment, as I need to build up the color in several layers.
