Lovely Face Cream
As a Lyko test pilot, I have had the opportunity to test Dermalogica's Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream for a few weeks, and I am very pleased with the product. I find that the face cream delivers on its promise of intense hydration, and my skin feels firm after use. The fact that it works anti-aging is a big plus. I like to use water-based face creams during the summer for a lighter feel on the skin, and this one has become a new favorite. It suits my normal/dry skin well. Promising anti-aging serum
As a Lyko test pilot, I have had the luxury of testing Dermalogica Phyto Nature formula for a few weeks, and so far I am impressed! The formula is supposed to stimulate cell renewal, and I find that it actually helps to exfoliate dead skin effectively. This in turn gives my skin more radiance. The product works anti-aging, and I use the formula preventively to minimize signs of aging on the skin. Simple and convenient application with a pump bottle, the formula is light and absorbs quickly into the skin. Works well on my normal/dry skin. Luxurious Day Cream with SPF50
I have had the luxury of testing Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 for a few weeks as Lyko’s test pilot. I find that the day cream ticks several boxes I look for in my skincare routine; moisturizing, ingredients with anti-aging properties, and high SPF. Smooth application with a pump bottle, the cream takes a while to absorb into the skin. The day cream leaves some shine but feels more like a radiance/glow and works well for my normal/dry skin type. I’m impressed that the day cream has SPF50 and I feel it provides good protection. When I’ve been in the sun, I have also applied sunscreen as extra protection. I feel my skin has gained more radiance and it feels hydrated and protected. A rare SPF day cream that is actually light!
Most skin creams with SPF are quite greasy, which gives me breakouts, but this one doesn’t! It’s not as light as gel creams, but it’s perfect for me with dry/normal skin. It’s easy to apply and absorbs quickly. I use this in the morning, and I don’t experience any issues with makeup. Doesn’t leave a white cast! The only thing to be aware of is that even though there is SPF in the skin cream, you still need to apply regular sunscreen in addition during summer/in heat. If you’re just going out for a quick trip, the cream alone is enough, but for longer periods sunscreen should also be used. I took this with me to the south and used it on my face before regular sunscreen. I highly recommend this as you get extra protection + moisture back into the skin (something you need after lots of sun and swimming!). The pump is very easy to use and perfect for travel. Although the product is very good, in my opinion the price is a bit too high for everyday use considering it’s only 50 ml. Dermalogica Serum I am more than grateful to have had the honor to try this fantastic fine serum, it really is the best serum I have tested so far. I have always seen the brand Dermalogica on various channels/beauty sites and mostly positive feedback but never really dared to try it until now (my partner too!) MY SKIN TYPE: Tired Dry, gray, dull skin lacking radiance I think the product’s packaging looks kind of clinical stylish if you can use those words. Very practical with the dropper where you can choose yourself how much product you press/drop out. The consistency is not watery as I thought it would be but a little thicker and I think that is a very big plus! I think it smells kind of like mandarin peel and I have seen some people say it doesn’t smell good but I actually think it smells nice and refreshing. Advantages: • The skin absorbs it very nicely and quickly. • The skin feels moisturized. • The skin looks more alive. Disadvantages: • The price. • It wasn’t quite as much as I hoped for. I think it is very good for my skin type even though I got a few small pimples, but that might have been because of my cleanser? Still, I think this product works wonders! But I kind of thought this would be a miracle for my skin hehe, but I need to do/have more products than this! 🌸 I like to see others’ reviews and compare what they do for others. I've been so lucky to be #lykotestpilot and have received 3 products from #dermalogica 🤩🤩 I really liked this one because it was easy to work with, you get a big bottle of 250ml and it’s economical to use, which is a big plus for me 🥰 My skin became so much smoother and softer after just one use, so I’ve been using this every morning and evening for 2 weeks and I think this has become my new favorite cleanser! Good cleansing without drying out
I had the honor of receiving the #dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel along with some of their other products and have tested them together. This gel has a very subtle and fresh scent and comes in a large package that is easy to use. The cleanser has a gel consistency that foams lightly when mixed with water. It feels fresh on the skin and cleans effectively without being too harsh. Afterwards, the skin feels clean and soft, not tight. The fact that the skin does not feel tight and dry is a big advantage for me as I have dry skin. Therefore, I can feel clean without any discomfort. After using the cleanser for a while, I am satisfied with this product and think it works well as a cleanser without drying out the skin. Scent?
I had the honor of receiving #dermalogica Dermalogica Biolumin-C Serum along with some of their other products and have tested them together. I was in great need of a serum and was therefore so happy to receive this product. My first impression was how luxurious the packaging was. The serum comes in a glass bottle which is well protected inside a nicely designed box. The serum has a light texture that quickly absorbs into the skin and feels smooth to apply. One dropper is enough for the entire face and neck. The skin feels moisturized and gets a lot of glow immediately after application. However, the scent was a big downside for me. The scent is not too strong but doesn’t smell particularly fresh in my opinion and affects the experience for me. Thanks to the strong absorption into the skin, the scent disappears quickly. A serum requires more time to see results but the radiance and glow I have gotten have been perfect for me and I look forward to continuing to use this product.
