Your new forever shaving foam
This is a really good shaving foam! It smells very nice, it foams well, it feels good, the bottle is sturdy, and the product delivers what it promises. From the list of ingredients, I see why. Here I find several ingredients that both bind moisture and provide long-lasting hydration. There is also niacinamide, which strengthens the skin barrier, reduces redness and irritation. But also substances that form a protective layer over the skin so the razor glides better, and an ingredient that possibly reduces hair growth over time. Impressive. And it works. So well that this is a product I will continue to use. But beware! The product contains fragrance, so if you have sensitive skin, you should rather test the fragrance-free version. Behind the company are two sisters, one of whom is a trained doctor specializing in intimate health and gynecological care. They collaborate with another female professor and chief gynecologist. Here, products for women are made by women with good expertise – to put it mildly. They have made a very good shaving foam, and I will definitely look at other products from DeoDoc. I like it!
Since I see there are mixed opinions about the scent of the body lotion, I want to say a bit about it first in my review. If I were to describe the scent of estelle&thild's Coconut Silk Body Lotion, coconut is not the first thing I think of. At least not the type of coconut scent we know from perfumes, hair oils, and shower gels – it smells more like natural coconut scent. How coconut really smells. But mostly, I think it smells of lavender and citrus. Maybe some vanilla and almond? And mild floral scents. A warm, cozy, and sweet scent. I have also learned that organic products have a distinctive scent, and this one does too. But it is well masked. The scent is mild, and those who are sensitive to strong scents will probably like this one. The scent also doesn't linger long on the skin, so it won't conflict with any perfume. So this is not a body lotion to be used as a perfume, but as a lotion. As a lotion, it is probably not for the driest skin. But for young skin without any particular challenges, this lotion is very good. It contains shea butter, jojoba oil, and aloe vera – which the skin loves. But also lactic acid and vitamin A. The lotion is both softening and nourishing. I have (very) sensitive skin and tolerated it well. I also have mature skin, and the lotion won't be enough for my drier winter skin. But now in summer, it will be nice. I liked the consistency, and it absorbed quickly. It did not leave a sticky layer on the skin. I also noticed that the bottle was not filled up, and there can be many reasons for that. It is possible estelle&thild buys standardized containers from another supplier, or it is for technical or practical reasons – where the lotion gets a larger volume during transport (heat and/or pressure). As a Lyko influencer tester, I have tested products from estelle&thild several times, and it is a company I have a good impression of and that has many good products. All in all, I think this body lotion is a safe and good choice. But I have a little bit of trouble with woody scents. But it can smell different when you have it on your skin, either wonderful or the opposite. Of course, fantastic on you, beautiful 🥥💐🤎2 likes

I need another one soon🌸
Rituals products are generally strongly scented, but this one is a bit milder. It is a mist, not a perfume. Therefore, the scent doesn't last very long. I've never used the mist on skin and hair, but a couple of gentle sprays over the duvet and pillow before I go to bed. To me, it feels calming to go to sleep with a mild, fresh, but also slightly warm floral scent. My bottle is almost empty (it's very economical) and then I have to order another bottle🌸🌸🌸1 product in post I need another one soon🌸552 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. My absolute favorite🏆😎☀️
To be completely sure I get good sun protection, I use La Roche-Posay factor 50 for children. And again this year, La Roche-Posay topped the Consumer Council's sunscreen test. The cream is modern and has very good sun filters, for UVB, short UVA, and long UVA (the radiation that causes wrinkles). The sunscreen contains ingredients that soften, moisturize, and protect the skin barrier. It is quick-drying so you don’t get the typical sticky feeling you can get from sunscreen. It also contains starch and wax to make it water-repellent. The cream contains no chemicals that harm the environment, marine life, are hormone-disrupting, affect reproduction, or are problematic in other ways. Not all sunscreen brands can boast that. La Roche-Posay is quality. I have red hair and very fair skin. I also have sensitive skin. I have never been burned using this cream. In the test of the spray variant, the stated sun protection factor was the real factor (unfortunately, many fail here). I have also never had other skin reactions. I usually don’t use it on my face; I stop at the chin and the hairline at the back of my neck. I use a brand LYKO does not carry on my face. But it has happened if I’ve been out in strong sun for a long time. But I didn’t get clogged pores or pimples. Still, I think it can be a bit heavy for some. The scent is mild and not at all intrusive. The cream is easy to apply. I apply a thick layer every two hours. I can’t recommend this sunscreen enough! (But if I have to say something negative, it’s that the cream leaves yellow stains on white clothes, but these come out with normal washing.) Practical design
"Everyone" knows that Rituals shower foam smells heavenly and feels very pleasant both in the shower and after the shower. But no one talks about the brilliant design. You can always trust the bottle. It is easy to press out the product with wet fingers – the button is easy to press down. But the top of the button is also rough, so you don’t slip and drop the bottle in the shower. The area is flat, and you have room to use your whole thumb. Genius! There are also no problems with dosing – you get exactly the amount you want. And there are no challenges in emptying the whole bottle and using up the product. I can say a few words about the content for those of you who haven’t yet tried any of Rituals shower foam. The liquid soap turns into a lovely foam when it comes into contact with water. A small amount is enough for large parts of the body. The soap feels very pleasant. Also afterwards. Despite sensitive skin, and the fact that Rituals uses quite a lot of perfume, I have never had a reaction. The perfume lingers on the body long after you have showered, and that is probably one of many reasons why so many like Rituals shower foam. But it is the bottle that makes me stick to this year after year. I have tried many different types of shower foam, but they end up irritating me because the product is sometimes completely hopeless to press out with wet fingers.1 product in post Practical design299 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 1 weekI’ve fallen down a little rabbit hole since I started reviewing various sunscreens. The world of sunscreen is actually incredibly interesting – it ranges from lawsuits about stated vs. actual SPF, environmental toxins, coral reefs, harmful chemicals, product recalls to national scandals. So I want to continue to dive deeper, but also include self-tan, saltwater spray, and UV protection for hair. I have been a consumer of sun protection for almost 50 years. I have red hair and very fair skin. It takes very little for me to get burned – and of course, I try to avoid that as best I can. That’s why I depend on knowing whether the products I use live up to the mark. For now, I’m using #solkrem as a tag. If you want to follow my testing this summer – feel free to follow me.37 views

Sad🥺
The companies behind the different sunscreens perform their own laboratory tests of, among other things, the sun protection factor in their products. And other independent laboratories take random samples of the same. The Consumer Council took a sample of Nivea UV Face Sensitive Cream SPF 50+ in 2025. It did not show factor 50, but factor 33!? Nivea disagrees. This is so disappointing that I don’t really want to continue the review. But I liked this one and had nearly used up a whole tube before I looked more closely at the product. Nivea’s sunscreen feels good on. It has little scent. It doesn’t clog pores. And it runs little. It works okay under makeup. When I read the ingredient list, I see a lot that is good (and some bad), and I hope Nivea’s SPF 50 for sensitive skin has been cleaned up for a possible test now in 2026. I’m crossing my fingers – because I actually liked it. But until then, I will stick to safe products. I have red hair and the lightest variant of Nordic skin. Sun protection is serious for me. Update: Nivea also did not pass the test in 2026. forbrukerradet.no/tester/solkrem-2026 #solkrem1 product in post Sad🥺45 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Another disappointment
I continue my testing of sun protection and have now come to Hawaiian Tropic Glowing Protection SPF 50. The product was part of the By Lyko Lovables inspo-kit The beachy kit. Well, this is not a sunscreen I would recommend either. I find that Hawaiian Tropic is involved in several not yet resolved lawsuits. These concern greenwashing – the dispute is about whether the products are really reef friendly (harmful to coral reefs and marine life). And whether the products do not have the stated SPF 50, but frighteningly only factor 20. Looking at the listed ingredients, I find suspected hormone-disrupting chemicals, chemicals that can affect reproductive ability, chemicals commonly referred to as liquid microplastics (!!!), and perfume – which can cause photoallergy (sun rash or other allergic reactions you otherwise wouldn’t have gotten). None of these chemicals are illegal for use in sunscreen. Yet. It’s all starting to get very sad – sunscreen is the most important product for our skin for us northerners. Sunscreen manufacturers should give us what they promise. Anyway. I tested the sunscreen. Once – so those who still choose to use the product know what to expect. The cream has a mild and pleasant scent – it doesn’t smell like typical sunscreen. The cream is also thin and easy to spread. I didn’t notice the skin getting any shimmer – but I have quite pale skin (I have red hair), so it probably takes a bit for it to show. I won’t use this, and you probably shouldn’t either. Usually, I never mention other brands in my reviews, but now I’m making an exception: If you want a good alternative, I recommend #rudolphcare Sun Body Lotion SPF 50 – also sold here at LYKO. This ranked at the very top in the Consumer Council’s sunscreen test in 2025 PS: I am not a professional skincare expert, and you should verify my claims. #solkrem1 product in post Another disappointment164 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. A perfume and wellness product
Rituals Body Lotion Mousse is not a typical body lotion for dry skin. Like all Rituals products, this one is also heavily perfumed. It creates a foam instead of ordinary lotion. The foam turns into a light cream and is easy to spread. The foam melts easily into the skin and does not leave it sticky or greasy. The foam also provides some moisture and feels pleasant. This is a product for home spa and not an everyday product. It aligns with Rituals' philosophy – to brighten up a perhaps gray and boring everyday life with a feeling of luxury and wellness. The lotion can mainly be used as a perfume – most will experience the product this way. You don’t need to apply it to large parts of the body with such use. The lotion does very little for dry skin – and should not be used on sensitive skin, skin with eczema or rashes, due to the perfume. Then you need to look for other types of products. I think the product is okay, but I probably won’t buy it again.1 product in post A perfume and wellness product1216 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 2 weeksRating: 2 out of 5
Problematic
I continue to test products from By Lyko Lovables inspo-kit The Beachy kit and have now come to Bondi Sands. Bondi Sands was tested by the British consumer organization Which in 2025, which showed that Bondi Sands sunscreens did not have nearly as high sun protection factor as they claim. This triggered a scandal in Australia, Bondi Sands is an Australian brand, and several products were withdrawn from the market. Bondi Sands denied the claim and referred to their own tests. Because of this, I believe this sunscreen should be avoided at the beach and on days with higher UV index. The sunscreen is reef friendly and does not contain oxybenzone and octinoxate which break down slowly, but it still has chemical filters, so if you want to protect marine life it should be avoided when used in water. It also has chemical filters that may possibly be hormone-disrupting in larger amounts. The more conscious consumer should probably avoid this sunscreen. But since I love to read up on the products I test and write reviews, I have of course tested this one as well. The sunscreen has a mild scent of sunscreen. Just as they should have according to my preferences. It is thin and easy to apply. It absorbs quickly into the skin and is not very sticky. It is fragrance-free and I tolerated it well. I usually get a reaction from most sunscreens, but not this one. My pores also did not get clogged. It is reasonably good to use under makeup. I am a bit divided on how many stars to give it. In a country like Norway, where we have a lot of skin cancer, the stated sun protection factor must correspond to the real factor. That it harms marine life and possibly also the human body is also worrying. But if you choose to use it on land, when the UV index is low, and do not overuse it, it is okay. Some will probably also like it very much. But I think two stars are enough. PS: I am not a professional skincare expert, so my claims should of course be reviewed by each individual. #solkrem1 product in post Problematic72 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 2 weeksYou are awesome. So wonderful that you check up and inform us about things. I love that kind of stuff. I’m one of those who have never ordered from Temu, Shein, or similar. I refuse to shop at, for example, Lager 157, which fires anyone who becomes a union representative and refuses to disclose where they buy their clothes (the worst because then no control can be done ..). I try to make conscious choices but don’t have the energy/time to check everything, so I’ve made a thousand mistakes. But then you just have to try to do better. ❤️1 likes
