2016 Pomade Brows
My model (aka my mom) and I tried doing Anastasia Beverly Hills Pomade Brows on her tattoos, and she now has a shape she loves. The lift in the face was brutal, and it’s so fun to see how the eyebrows can change the whole look of the face. The pomade is truly a staple product, and I almost wish we would bring it back. A product I want to highlight that is EXTREMELY underrated is the makeup brushes from LYKO and Gleeze. I use them constantly. A favorite for me is ByLyko’s Foundation and Concealer dual brush. Gamechanger. Also the Gleeze Powder Brush! ByLyko’s lip oils are one of the nicest formulations ever. Gleeze Blushes and Beauty Blenders are also so good! Another product I’ve tried now is Daars Cream Blush, I’m totally in love. It applies so nicely on makeup and gives such a beautiful glow! Lastly, Urban Decay All Nighter, the cult product god. The new formulation makes no difference in wear. It’s as amazing as I remember. It sets and makes the makeup last through wet and dry. I had a day at school, was blow-drying, doing makeup on classmates, ran to the train, the train was insanely hot, and not a bit of makeup disappeared. 10/10! What do you think? A rich cream that smells heavenly of vanilla 🤍🍦
At first, I thought it could never be worth 499 kr. But just the bottle is really nice and feels a bit more exclusive, love the pump part. Easy to dose the right amount. 🩶 I have used the product for 3 weeks in my usual skincare routine as #lykotestpilot The cream feels rich, creamy, and buttery, but not sticky. Very moisturizing and plumps the skin in a pleasant way. Gives a nice glow immediately✨. For me, who often chooses lighter creams due to acne, it almost feels like a “forbidden fruit” to use 😅 It contains fats (but I think it absorbs well within about 10 minutes). 🧴 Was worried it would trigger my acne, so I introduced it in small amounts (1-2 pumps) about every other day. During the test, I got a few extra small pimples that might be due to the cream, but I’m not 100% sure since I can get pimples for various reasons (need to test longer). 🔴 Together with Emma S. Hyaluronic Essence, I got irritation (probably due to the combination of fragrance ingredients). But with my usual fragrance-free skincare, I haven’t experienced any irritation. 🤍 I totally fell in love with the SCENT and sometimes want to apply more because of it (have to resist😅). Soft, skin-close, warm. Think vanilla ice cream with a little soft white flower, in a balanced way. But powerful, smells for over an hour on the hand (good to know if you’re sensitive). But nice and cozy.🍦🤍 Skin type: 34 years old, acne-prone and combination: surface dry + a bit oily T-zone during the day. Has fine lines. Can sometimes be a bit sensitive, especially to strong scents on the face (but this time it was fine). A nice gel-to-cream cleanser 🥒
Of the 3 products I've tested as #lykotestpilot for #emmas, I like this one best. It's one of the gentler gel cleansers I've tried, but you still feel clean and fresh from it 😊 I like that it has gentle cleansing agents, moisturizing ingredients, and a fun touch with cucumber extract. 🥒 A simple aesthetic bottle with a screw cap (would be more convenient with a flip cap, but at the same time, screw caps can reduce leakage and mess). 🤍 A slightly thicker transparent gel, but combined with water it becomes a bit creamier and white. Can be foamed up a little, but I think it feels mostly creamy. 🧴 Completely fragrance-free but smells slightly earthy/maybe cucumber, something natural but fresh. I've tested cleansing both with and without makeup. I don't feel it removes absolutely all makeup on its own – I get some foundation residue left on a cotton pad. But it's water-based, so I didn't really expect otherwise. My experience is that oil/wax-based products often dissolve makeup best. But very nice as a step-2 cleanser or when you haven't worn makeup. 🫧 About me: 34 years old, combination and surface dry with a slightly oily T-zone. I find the product suits me very well. As an influencer for Lyko, I have now had the chance to test the Eye-Con Eyeshadow Palette in the color Mauve on up 👁️ The palette is small, handy, and cute! All the colors are beautiful, and since I love purple eyeshadow (because I think it suits my green eyes well), I was naturally drawn to those colors in the palette! 🎨 There are two matte shadows and two glittery shadows. A product I immediately thought would be great to have both when traveling and in my bag! But nope, after photographing the product and about to open it to test and look, the two glittery shadows fell straight onto my bathroom mat. Guess how surprised I was 😂😱 I tried to pick up as much product as possible to test, but now it looks like my kids borrowed the palette, you could say.. 🫠 I hope I got a Monday product because otherwise, I’m really disappointed, it shouldn’t be like that! Really unfortunate. 😴 The pigments in the eyeshadow are acceptable but nothing more, quite weak, at least the matte shadows. I thought the glittery ones were very pretty and sparkled nicely, but those were also the two that fell out. All in all, a pretty okay eyeshadow palette that I had high hopes for before! Creamy Lipstick 💄
As an influencer for Lyko, I have had the chance to test the Creamy Dreamy Lip Crayon in the color Berry Jam for a few weeks now! 👄 Here you have a product that gives color, moisture, and a creamy result instantly! My first impression of the product was that the packaging is simple but cute! I think it could be a bit lighter and slimmer, the cap makes it look a bit cheap. But that's a matter of taste! ☺️ The lipstick itself was a very nice color and is very easy to apply, it goes on quickly and is easy to smudge with your finger to remove if it goes a bit outside during application. 💋 The color is pigmented, very nice, and surprisingly long-lasting! I also think the product feels comfortable on the lips, neither too creamy nor too dry. Nourishing Lip Serum
As an influencer for Lyko, I got to test the Melt Down Lip Balm in the shade Pinky Promise 👄 It is a nourishing and moisturizing lip serum in balm form, enriched with avocado oil, argan oil, and shea butter! It is also supposed to give a plumping effect to the lips. The product is very easy to apply, gives a cooling effect, and a lot of gloss and glow. It’s nice for both everyday use and parties. 💃 My first impression was that it was a simple, light, and easy-to-use product with nice packaging, and I have continued to like the product. It’s neither great nor bad, somewhere in between, a bit like low-fat milk in my opinion. I don’t see any plumping effect at all, but I do feel the cooling effect. The product is also quite economical, so you don’t need much product, as it easily becomes too much and sticky otherwise.
