A pink look to honor the day. The eyeshadow palette is not available for purchase at Lyko but it’s from Coastal Scents and is called “Revealed 2.” There are 4 shadows in the palette that are pink, light pink, pink with glitter, and a slightly darker pink. The base is the usual (foundation, concealer, etc.) I also mixed my highlight drops from #essence with the darkest shadow I used as blush, worked well 😁 What do you think of today’s look? Creamy and super lasting!
I have purchased these bronzers for the test as a part of a Makeup Lyko Creator deal. It was a pleasant surprise to get all the shades, so everyone can try the closest shade for them. Now about the product and packaging: 1. Took off half of a star for the white plastic tube, just because sooner or later it’s going to get super dirty with makeup. Otherwise, packaging is nice, the lid of the tube holds strong and doesn’t seem to fall off accidentally. 2. Bronzers are super creamy, and pretty easy to apply, just start with a small amount first. 3. It’s truly lasting, I even had trouble removing it from my hand with oil after swatches. Good for summer and sweat. 4. Another half of a star I took off because generally 3 shades of this bronzer have a similar undertone. Very orange. I am the person who can generally use most of the shades due to my frequent hair color and style changes, but if you have a cool undertone, are blonde, and don’t like to have a “brick wall” on your face, the shades won’t be suitable for you. On the other hand, I’m sure there will be use for me for the lightest shade in summer, to get a bit more tanned look, so overall I like the product and its formula. Disappointed ~ hard to work with and drying 👎
I really hoped for more from this gloss, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. • Application: It’s a struggle to get any product on the applicator! You have to dip and swipe countless times just to get a somewhat decent layer on the lips. Very time-consuming and frustrating. • Feeling on the lips: Instead of moisturizing, it feels dry and almost like it’s sucking all the moisture out of the lips. Not at all the soft, glossy finish you want. My tip: Skip the Boss Gloss and go for By Lykos Lip Oils instead! Bare Minerals bareMinerals Powder Foundation I used as a bronzer and it’s so easy to blend out. The blush from Revolution Makeup Revolution is TOTALLY magical! As you know, Victoria’s Secret models have a red blush and I can say this is one of the nicest and easiest blushes I’ve tried. Will buy again! The lashes from Ardell Ardell are so pretty since I love having a lash on the outer edge of the lash line. They are perfect for that! E.L.F. glitter eyeshadow is so pretty but I used it as a highlighter. essence glitter eyeshadow is totally AMAZING!!! Reminds me of Fenty’s glitter which is frosty. It’s so pigmented and works best with setting spray, a dense eyeshadow brush, or your finger. WOWOWO! I also carved my eyebrows and am so happy. Easy to use and it removes everything. Idawarg kabuki brush was SOOOOO good! Love it. However, if you like longer handles, it’s a bit shorter. But I think it should be that way for a brush like this. Used it for foundation and bronzer. Also bought concealer from E.L.F. LOVE IT!!! So good. Covering, buildable, and not thick on the skin! 🥹❤️ and then I used L'Oréal Paris mascara. ABSOLUTELY my favorite mascara! My tips for simple makeup: - Think less variety of products, more longevity. Set cream products with powder if you want to wear them all day. - Eyeshadow sticks tend to set themselves but are often patchy or a bit transparent, use powder eyeshadows on top. - Blush is in trend but not for everyone, choose the coral shade if you’re still unsure about too much blush.
