A good budget option
Catrice's baked blush is very good. Even though it costs very little. 🧡 I wasn't familiar with the brand Catrice before, and I want to write a bit about it at the end of my review. 🧡 The packaging is simple and maybe a bit fragile. I doubt it can withstand much. But so far, I find the open-and-close mechanism good. 🧡 The formula itself impresses me. I find it has a lot of pigment. And I think it has a lovely glow, and it can also be used as a highlighter. 🧡 It is very easy to apply and blend out. And it stays nice for a long time. The color was probably not quite what I imagined it would be, but that's how it is when you shop based on pictures. The color is somewhat darker. But I like it. 🧡 My skin is of the lightest type (red hair), mature and a bit dry. I used the blush together with Catrice Tinted Moisturizer, setting spray, and setting powder. I liked the result a lot, and I got compliments. 🧡 I believe this blush can compete with bigger well-known brands. It's the packaging they have cut costs on, not the product itself. ℹ️ So about the brand Catrice. Catrice is a German brand, owned by the same company as Essence. The philosophy behind it is to offer good quality without it costing too much. ℹ️ I've also read that Catrice wants to keep up with trends and therefore releases new collections often. This can lead to varying quality. ℹ️ Catrice has been spared from major scandals but has received criticism for short shelf life and products that get damaged during transport. And again, not all products are equally good. ℹ️ Catrice has 100% vegan ingredients, and they have strived to keep the level of microplastics and unwanted substances out of their formulas. ℹ️ Catrice follows EU legislation and does not test on animals. They also do not sell their products to mainland China, where animal testing was previously required. ⭐ But next time I will choose a different shade – and above all, I want to see it before I buy. Because of the color, which does not match the picture or description, I unfortunately have to deduct two stars. They both give a pretty, fresh and natural-looking flush to the cheeks and lips. But after using them side by side, I was actually surprised that I prefer the Essence What A Tint!. 😍 It seems more pigmented, lasts longer on my skin and gives a more natural stained effect. Once blended, it looks like the colour is coming through my skin rather than sitting on top of it. The IsaDora Cooling Jelly Stick is also lovely and feels really nice and cooling when applied, but the result is softer and I don't find the colour lasts quite as well on me. Considering how inexpensive the Essence one is, I'm seriously impressed. Ordered two of the Nyx Buttermelt Blush in these shades: 01 - My Butta Half: A clear, cool candy pink shade with distinctly cool undertones. 06 - For The Butta: A soft, muted cool old rose/purple tone (cool rose/soft mauve). Very satisfied, but the colors when I want cool tones on blush, I would also say they are very pigmented and apply nicely✨ The finish is lightly dewy without looking sticky. My biggest downside is that it contains perfume, and for me who is sensitive to scents, it becomes a problem. But if you don’t have issues with fragrances, I would recommend this! After seeing all the ads for this new product, I couldn't resist trying it! I love blush and tend to overdo the amount🙈 But I am very pale and have little natural color, so blush really does a lot to bring life. The color is absolutely amazing✨ It is deep and cool, and very pigmented. I would think it works for many skin tones since it is quite dark. It feels like a cream blush when applied but sets in place after a while. The product never gets dry and a dewy finish remains. But the wear time is much longer. For best results, I like to put a little product on the back of my hand and then work it into the brush. That way it's easier to get the right amount.
