Nice jar with a nice product!
To be honest, I bought this only because it would be an aesthetic addition to the bathroom cabinet since the jar is really nice... However, I was positively surprised by the product itself! (luckily, otherwise a bit of an unnecessary purchase hehe). I have combination acne-prone skin and quite big problems with clogged pores on my nose and chin. This mask gives visible results in reducing these! It’s not a miracle that will magically make all your clogged pores disappear, but they look noticeably cleaner after use. Also, it doesn’t leave the skin tight or dry, which is a big plus. It also smells really good! I use it about 1-2 times a week when I feel like having a little spa evening. I apply it only on the areas where I have problems with clogged pores. When it comes to exfoliating masks, this is definitely my favorite! Favorite eye cream that I unfortunately have to say goodbye to :(
I have used this eye cream for about two years (?) and have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. It has an incredibly comfortable texture and doesn’t sting the eyes, unlike many other eye creams. Truly a strong favorite! However, once this runs out, I have to try to find a new favorite as I’m going to start treatment with tretinoin cream and don’t dare to combine it with an eye cream containing retinal. I have previously used it together with Epiduo, which contains adapalene, and had no problems then. But since tretinoin is a bit harsher on the skin, I guess I have to say goodbye to this eye cream for a while at least. For those of you who don’t use prescription retinoids, I can strongly recommend this! Maybe even for those who use tretinoin, etc. I’m not an expert, so maybe it’s possible to use them together but I’m not quite brave enough. If anyone has a tip for a good eye cream I can switch to, please feel free to comment! Anyway, this eye cream gets a 5/5 from me. More runny than Joseons, but still feels rich on the skin when it sinks in! Not as glowy as Joseons. 🩷 CLEAN Rosé All Day became one of my favorites from the mini kit I bought a month ago. Really bubbly, sweet and fruity and reminds me a bit of a drink. If you have tried Kayali Sparkling Lychee or Candied Lychee by The 7 Virtues, there are similarities. But I think the lychee/peach scent is clearer than the flowers in CLEANS, and it is lighter and not so deep. But it dries down a bit woody ☺️. 👄 rimmel – Butter Me Up is not available at Lyko, but reminds me of Nudestix Hydra-Peptide Lip Butter in texture (but without the cooling sensation). Have been using this eye cream for about 6 months. It is an eye serum that helps reduce wrinkles on the skin around the eyes through a combination of ginseng extract and retinal. For me, it was too strong to use every night, so I use it 1-2 times a week and still notice a big difference 🥰 Even though I don't have older skin with wrinkles under the eyes, I notice that I look more awake and fresh under the eyes. I really love this sunscreen! It feels more like a light moisturizer than a classic sun protection. The consistency is thin and creamy, and it absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky or heavy. It leaves a nice, hydrated glow finish and works super well under makeup. It contains rice extract and fermented ingredients that help to hydrate and soothe the skin, making it feel very nourishing while also protecting against the sun. I’m not actually overreacting when I say it’s the best I’ve ever tried. At first, I used it in the summer because of the high SPF, but now I use it every day, even on days without sun. I just feel so much better with it. The consistency is light and absorbs quickly without feeling sticky or heavy, and it feels more like skincare than sunscreen on the face. Works really well under makeup, and it doesn’t crumble in the process, no matter how much you rub. No matter how much you apply, you don’t get a white cast, which is a particularly decisive factor for me in choosing sunscreen. I’m adding a before-and-after picture. On a completely normal weekday, I like to work from a café if I don’t have lessons to lead. Today I’m going to the gym afterward and the glam factor is low but the comfort is high 😋 I curled my hair yesterday so today it was a bit unruly.
