β¨ Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum Ginseng + Retinal β¨ I have been using the Revive Eye Serum Ginseng + Retinal from Beauty of Joseon every night on cleansed skin for a few days now, and I am already impressed with the results! β£οΈ The serum is designed to help even out the skin around the eyes and reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. It contains ginseng and retinal (vitamin A), and is described as gentle enough for sensitive skin. Additionally, it is vegan, free from synthetic fragrance, essential oils, and parabens! β¨ Only a very small amount of product is needed with each application, making the serum incredibly economical. I notice that the fine lines under my eyes already look less prominent, and the biggest difference I've seen is when I wear makeup. This has truly become a new favorite in my routine! π€ I have quite sensitive skin and get red easily, especially after washing my face, and I really feel that this helps to calm the skin and reduce redness. I use it in the evening after toner and for me, 2-3 drops are plenty. The texture is very light and absorbs nicely into the skin without feeling heavy or sticky. I started using it three times a week, then slowly moved up to every other night. Now I use it every night as part of my nighttime skincare routine. I think itβs gentle enough that I didnβt worry too much about purging, but I would still recommend taking it slow when introducing it to your routine and letting your skin adjust. A little really goes a long way with this one. I use probably half a pump for my eyes and two pumps for my face and neck. The biggest difference Iβve noticed is in my undereyes. They look noticeably brighter and more even, to the point where I genuinely donβt feel like I need to wear concealer every day anymore. It has also helped so much with my fine lines and overall texture, leaving the area looking smoother and more refreshed. And if you have this at home, there is one thing you donβt want to forget: Shake the bottle Itβs not just to mix the ingredients better, Beauty of Joseon has a so-called dual-layer formula, where one part is a rice-based moisture phase and the other contains a sebum-balancing powder layer. When you shake the bottle, the layers mix and you get the finished product. The powder helps absorb excess sebum and counteracts a greasy shine, so the idea is that the skin becomes glowing without feeling oily. It is also the richest of my three toners, which is why I use it last. Beauty of Joseon contains among other things rice extract and rice amino acids, which contribute hydration and antioxidant properties. It also contains panthenol, ceramide NP, and sodium hyaluronate. The consistency is significantly more milky than the first two toners I use, which makes it feel like a natural last layer. I have chosen three because I think these three complement each other and give me the feeling I want, or really you can count it as 4 layers since after double cleansing I start my skin flooding with a mist before I start with my different toners. I've ordered some K-beauty, so stay tuned! Below you can see that I've gotten the following: 1. A glass nail file from LYKO, wanted a more durable nail file. π€ 2. Top and base coat from essence, looking forward to trying these! π 3. Brow powder from essence in the color medium, you can expect a review soon π. 4. A konjac sponge. I've heard these help to thoroughly cleanse the skin. π§Ό 5. A Beautyblender from Normal. π 6. Skincare from Dr. med. Christine Schrammek. Wish this brand was available on Lyko too! I bought these from the cosmetologist I usually go to. I had a green peel treatment from the same brand, so it will be interesting to see the results. It is said to help with acne and acne scars. The skin exfoliates for five days in connection with the treatment, so I can't yet say if it was worth it or not. I can write more about the treatment once I've seen if it gave results or not! π 7. And since my skin is extra sensitive right now due to the treatment, it's extra important that I protect it from the sun. I was told that day creams with SPF don't provide as good protection as a separate sunscreen, so I bought one from Beauty of Joseon. I can say that I loooove it! ππ©΅ Relief Sun Aqua Fresh really sinks well into the skin and suits me with combination skin.
