I like to use a more moisturizing night cream in the evening, and ACO Face Purifying Night Balm fits well into my evening routine. What I especially like is the feeling after application. The skin feels soft, hydrated, and cared for, which is exactly what I want from a night cream. I also appreciate that it is fragrance-free and developed for skin that may be prone to impurities. One thing I find interesting about this product is that it doesn’t just focus on hydration. It contains, among other things, panthenol and glycerin that care for and hydrate the skin, sarcosine which helps reduce excess sebum, and papain which provides a mild enzymatic exfoliation. For me, it feels like a good combination – a night product that both hydrates and is adapted for skin that may need a little extra balance. The only thing I would mention is that since it contains papain and has an exfoliating function, sensitive skin may need to get used to the product. In summary, I think it’s a well-thought-out night cream that gives the skin the hydration I want in the evening, while also having ingredients that are interesting for skin prone to impurities. This was the product in the series I was most curious about. Face Purifying Booster Serum contains BHA, which makes it a more active step compared to a classic moisturizing product 💦 I like that the serum feels like a product with a clear purpose – to complement skincare when you want to focus a bit extra on a cleaner and more balanced skin. It is also one of those products where I appreciate the simplicity: a few drops 💧 and the routine immediately feels more thoughtful. Here is my review of the ACO Purifying Booster Serum – this is a non-comedogenic serum that gently exfoliates with salicylic acid (BHA). Here is my review of ACO Purifying Night Balm, a creamy product that moisturizes, soothes, and restores while being gently exfoliating overnight. It does not clog the skin, which is important if you are acne-prone like me. It works really well for me; I wake up with fewer pimples, but unfortunately, I also get terribly dry from this, which may be due to my skin, menopause, etc., so unfortunately, I can't use it as often. Which is a shame. Do I recommend it? Both yes and no, you almost have to try it out yourself. The price is great, and I really like ACO as a brand. As a Lyko influencer tester, I have had the opportunity to try some products from ACO, and it has been fun to test more products from them. Here is my review of the Purifying day cream, which is a moisturizing and soothing cream that also calms irritated skin + reduces blemishes, which I think it does well. It is also developed for us adults with acne-prone skin, and I am definitely the person who gets pimples even though I am 52 years old. I have used it as a primer under makeup, and it is excellent – it keeps the skin matte all day, and I also think it feels a bit "blurring," which I like. But some days it has made my skin feel very dry and not moisturizing. It’s not all the time, just sometimes, which could be due to my "skin," menopause, etc. Otherwise, I think it is a nice day cream that is also not too expensive. Do I recommend it? The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner ✨ This is truly one of those products where after a while I understand why it’s so talked about. I actually use it in several different ways and it’s a versatile product! ✨ On the face: about once a week I use it as an exfoliant. The skin feels smoother afterwards and above all I get that nice, fresh glow that I love. ✨ On the upper arms: I use it against bumps/keratosis pilaris and find that the skin becomes noticeably more even and smoother when I use it regularly. It hasn’t magically removed everything, but the difference is definitely noticeable. ✨ On the heels: here it’s almost ridiculously good! I use it as an exfoliant and then follow up with a rich foot cream and the heels become really smooth and soft. ✨ On the scalp: I use it as an exfoliating treatment about 20 minutes before washing my hair when I want to remove product buildup and give my scalp a thorough cleansing. What I really like is that it’s a single bottle that can be used for so many different areas. And 7% glycolic acid is enough for me to actually notice a difference without needing to use it every day.
