But maybe more of a heartfelt sigh. Because I bought products from Catrice for the first time a few weeks ago. Had I known there would be such an affordable calendar, I would have bought that instead. Because I wanted to test the brand itself. For those who don’t know Catrice, I want to say a few words. I have now tested four products from them – I am done with one review. And I am very impressed. Even though the price is low and the packaging cheap. Because the products almost reach the level of the more well-known and expensive brands. But I have also learned that Catrice can have varying quality, as they often change the collection to catch trends. So it’s not certain that all the content is equally good. But still. This must be an excellent gift for someone exploring makeup for the first time, but also for those who are experienced. I am a grown woman and I can definitely appreciate Catrice. You also get earrings, nail polish, and a scrunchie. The products in my picture – blush, setting powder, setting spray, and a skin tint – I put together a nice look with them. If there are any copies left after Christmas, I might buy it. Either for myself or my niece. But others can buy it first. It’s hard to give the right number of stars to the calendar since I’m unfamiliar with the content. But I can give it four. A good budget option
Catrice's baked blush is very good. Even though it costs very little. 🧡 I wasn't familiar with the brand Catrice before, and I want to write a bit about it at the end of my review. 🧡 The packaging is simple and maybe a bit fragile. I doubt it can withstand much. But so far, I find the open-and-close mechanism good. 🧡 The formula itself impresses me. I find it has a lot of pigment. And I think it has a lovely glow, and it can also be used as a highlighter. 🧡 It is very easy to apply and blend out. And it stays nice for a long time. The color was probably not quite what I imagined it would be, but that's how it is when you shop based on pictures. The color is somewhat darker. But I like it. 🧡 My skin is of the lightest type (red hair), mature and a bit dry. I used the blush together with Catrice Tinted Moisturizer, setting spray, and setting powder. I liked the result a lot, and I got compliments. 🧡 I believe this blush can compete with bigger well-known brands. It's the packaging they have cut costs on, not the product itself. ℹ️ So about the brand Catrice. Catrice is a German brand, owned by the same company as Essence. The philosophy behind it is to offer good quality without it costing too much. ℹ️ I've also read that Catrice wants to keep up with trends and therefore releases new collections often. This can lead to varying quality. ℹ️ Catrice has been spared from major scandals but has received criticism for short shelf life and products that get damaged during transport. And again, not all products are equally good. ℹ️ Catrice has 100% vegan ingredients, and they have strived to keep the level of microplastics and unwanted substances out of their formulas. ℹ️ Catrice follows EU legislation and does not test on animals. They also do not sell their products to mainland China, where animal testing was previously required. ⭐ But next time I will choose a different shade – and above all, I want to see it before I buy. Because of the color, which does not match the picture or description, I unfortunately have to deduct two stars. Catrice Lipliner – 069 Manhattan
One of my absolute favorite lip liners! I've been using Catrice 069 Manhattan for almost four years and always come back to it, even though I've tried many more expensive and viral brands. It's affordable, easy to apply, and holds up really well. I can eat and drink without the color disappearing right away. After a few hours, I might need to touch up a bit to bring back the intensity. I usually use it together with a matte lipstick, which I think contributes to the long-lasting effect. With a glossy/glowy lipstick, the result is also really nice but doesn't last as long. 069 Manhattan is my favorite for everyday makeup, while shade 100 suits better when I want a darker and more defined look. Good "no makeup" makeup product!
Some love this product, others hate it. BUT, it really depends on what result you’re looking for. If you want a very natural look, this is the perfect product that cares for and brightens under the eyes. If you want more coverage and a fuller glam look, I wouldn’t choose this. The product contains hyaluronic acid and shea butter, which you can also see in the texture; it’s a bit creamier than concealers generally, and I always use powder to set it. Works at least well on my dry skin and brightens the under eyes really well. Yesterday's party
Before I got a hangover, I had of course spruced myself up a bit, and it was time to test how the red-red works with my wavy hair texture. The answer is (according to me😝): absolutely excellent 🍒 I sprayed heat protection from Neqi, scrunched in mousse and gel from Umberto Giannini, hair oil from Kerastase, and finished with the texture spray from R+Co. I’m also linking the makeup I used. Pretty standard.
