As a Lyko Influtester, I have had the opportunity to test the Face Purifying Night Balm from ACO. Night creams have sometimes been part of my skincare routine but not as frequently as I would have liked. Night creams have sometimes been used because I found it easier to use a night cream for hydration regardless of whether it absorbed quickly into the skin or not. I have some oilier zones and drier zones on my face. The Purifying Night Balm from ACO absorbs quickly into the skin and does not leave it sticky or greasy. It comes in a convenient packaging where it is easy to apply the right amount of product directly. The texture of the product is moderately firm and slightly greasier than the day cream but very easy to apply. It has no scent, which makes it suitable for everyone. Nice and lightweight serum
As a Lyko Influtester, I had the opportunity to try the Face Purifying Booster Serum from ACO. Serum is rarely a daily part of my skincare routine but a nice companion to both day and night creams. I have some oilier areas on my face and a few drier spots. The consistency of the serum is very light and absorbs quickly into the skin after application. It comes in a nice packaging, but the application can be a bit tricky as I feel the nozzle didn’t quite work well with the loose consistency. It has no distinct scent, which makes it suitable for everyone. Since it absorbs quickly into the skin, it works well under creams. I combined it with ACO’s Purifying Night Balm, which has made my skin look more refreshed in the morning and also reduced the visibility of pores. As a Lyko Influtester, I have had the opportunity to try the Face Purifying Day Cream from ACO. I'm usually not a big fan of using day creams because I don't always feel that the cream absorbs quickly enough into the skin and it can leave a greasy layer. This in turn makes the skin look worse than it usually does without day cream. I normally have quite oily skin in some areas and drier in others. Regarding ACO's day cream, it's the opposite. In my opinion, it absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves the skin non-sticky. It has become a pleasant companion in my daily skincare. It comes in a good package where it's easy to get out a suitable amount of product quickly. The consistency of the cream is light and quick to apply. A big plus is that I feel the pores have reduced slightly or at least are less visible. For me, who is very busy, it has fit well into the daily routine. How it works under makeup I dare not comment on as I currently rarely use makeup. Therefore, I hoped this serum would be a good addition to my skincare routine. There is really a lot that makes this product incredibly pleasant to use. First of all, I really like the bottle – it’s super nice, feels handy, and looks great in the bathroom cabinet. The texture itself is also amazing, and the product absorbs into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. Unfortunately, I still have to give a rather lukewarm rating in the end. Granted, it’s good that it’s a bit richer if, like me, you toss and turn like a helicopter in bed 🙈, so the skin feels moisturized when you wake up. The day cream has a lotion-like consistency and is thinner when you apply it, absorbs quickly, and the skin becomes soft and moisturized. It is also supposed to have moisturizing properties. This night cream is something I, as a #lykoinflutester, have had the chance to test over the past month. I have replaced the cream I usually use in the evenings with this one, so my evening skincare routine now consists of double cleansing, exfoliation with glycolic acid/facial toner with PHA, ACO Purifying Booster, and this ACO Purifying Night Balm. I am 41 years old and my skin is oily. I've always had more or less problems with pimples but started to think it had gotten better with age. But then I had the worst breakout just over a month ago, so apparently not 😒 As the name suggests, this is a thicker cream than the day cream, but not greasy. It comes, just like the day cream, in a 50 ml plastic tube with a screw cap. I have no complaints about the packaging. I like the ingredient list which includes panthenol (moisturizing and soothing), glycerin (nurturing), sarcosine (oil-regulating), papain (mild exfoliating). I think the cream feels very gentle, nurturing, and soothing. As mentioned, it is a bit thicker, but still absorbs well into the skin. I look forward to this cream in the evening, and it feels like a good finish to my skincare routine. As I have also mentioned in my reviews of the day cream and booster, I don't feel that the series has done anything significant to improve the condition my face is currently in, but I suspect the causes are hormonal, so it doesn't really matter much which skincare you use. What I try to prioritize is being gentle to the skin, and I feel this night balm checks my boxes! The fact that the price is really good doesn't hurt either. A pretty okay cream!
As #lykoinflutester, I had the opportunity to test this day cream over the past month. I am 41 years old, and my skin is oily, and lately, I've had major problems with acne. It's nothing new to me, but something I had hoped would have cleared up. But no, the last month (a bit more) has not been fun at all for my face. I had hoped that this cream, which I tested along with the booster and night cream in the same series, would show some results, but unfortunately, it hasn't. However, I don't think the cream is bad! The day cream comes in a tube with a screw cap of 50 ml, and I think a pea-sized amount about the size of two peas is enough for the face. It contains hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and sarcosine, which are supposed to hydrate, protect against free radicals, and reduce excess oil production. I can agree that the cream feels properly moisturizing, and it absorbs nicely into the skin. But as for reduced sebum production, I can't say that I've experienced that. The cream works great under makeup, which is an absolute must for me. Since I am often quite stressed in the morning (!), I usually start applying foundation maybe just a minute after completing my skincare routine, and that hasn't been a problem. Nothing that flakes or ruins the makeup, which is appreciated. My skincare routine currently consists of a mild facial wash, toner, ACO Purifying Booster, and then I finish with this cream in the morning. As I mentioned at the beginning, I don't feel that the series has done much to improve the condition of the pimples my face is dealing with, but I still think it's a pretty okay moisturizing, light cream. Considering the reasonable price, I feel it might be worth trying! Over the past month, I’ve had the opportunity as #lykoinflutester to try ACO’s purifying series in the form of their booster serum, day cream, and night cream. My skin is very oily and sensitive at times. I’ve always had problems with acne, but not excessively much recently. That is, until just over a month ago, when my skin totally freaked out and I had lots of pimples, both superficial and deep. So I was happy when I found out I would be testing these products and felt like I’d be a perfect test person ✌️😊 This product is called a booster, but it’s basically just a serum, so nothing unusual. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump that can be locked by twisting the nozzle. I use three pumps of product on my face and have done so both morning and evening over the past month. In the morning, I’ve replaced the serum I usually use with this one, and in the evening, I’ve added it to my routine (I’m also currently using a retinol serum from CeraVe). I apply it after toner and before cream. The serum has a watery consistency and absorbs easily into the skin. It contains no perfume and doesn’t smell like anything special. I don’t think it leaves any kind of film behind. It feels lightly moisturizing and doesn’t sting. It contains ingredients proven to work against acne, so I had fairly high expectations. I definitely don’t think it’s bad, but I also don’t feel like it has directly improved the condition my skin is in. On the other hand, I’m pretty convinced that my pimples come from causes that skincare can’t directly affect, namely hormonal. So in my case, I think I just have to wait it out until it calms down. That said, over the years I’ve tested A LOT of skincare for oily skin and acne, so I think I can still judge what’s good and what’s less good. I would place this product in the upper part of the scale. I think it’s worth trying, even if it didn’t do much for me. I got to try the ACO Face Purifying Booster Serum from the Purifying series ✨ The packaging is one of the things I like! The pump bottle feels simple and convenient to use, but at the same time has a more luxurious feel even though the product has a very good price. The serum contains salicylic acid, or BHA, which is an ingredient I’ve unfortunately realized my skin doesn’t really like. I find it too drying for me and it’s a bit too much for my skin barrier. So it’s really not so much about the product itself, but more that BHA doesn’t seem to be the right type of exfoliation for my skin 🩵 So unfortunately, it’s not a full score from me either. But if you have skin that reacts better to BHA, I definitely think this could be a product worth trying. I have had the chance to try ACO Face Purifying Night Balm, which is part of their Purifying series 🌙 I like this one a bit more than the day cream. It has a slightly thicker consistency and I feel that it moisturizes better, which suits my skin more. However, personally, I would have liked to see a night cream that focuses solely on hydration and letting the skin recover overnight. This one still contains ingredients that work with, among other things, sebum and exfoliation, and since I have a fairly sensitive skin barrier, I would rather choose a simple and soothing cream at night. The price is a plus though, and I think it feels worth the money 🩵 If I’m being a bit picky, I also don’t like the screw cap on the tube.
