"We'll just stay a little while," they say. Yeah, right … 😉 Shortly after, the flowers come in – tuberose, rose, and jasmine, dressed up for a party and with no intention of being modest. Just as it starts to feel a bit too elegant, vanilla and sandalwood throw a soft blanket over the whole gathering, while patchouli dims the lights. And suddenly, we're left with a scent that's fruity, warm, creamy, and just the right amount of sensual. Rituals Ciel Rouge feels grown-up without being strict, playful without being overly sweet, and feminine without being timid. A bit like a red sunset in perfume form – wearing lipstick and with zero plans to go to bed early ❤️🌹 This is also one of those scents that makes me keep sniffing my own wrist all the time. Marshmallow in a jar – and I’m sold! 💗
This is a rich and creamy body butter with, among other things, coconut oil and shea butter, made to give the skin plenty of moisture and make it soft and smooth. The texture is thick and nourishing, but I don’t find it feels uncomfortably heavy on the skin. And the scent … it simply smells heavenly! 🩷💓 Sweet, soft, and creamy marshmallow, almost like something you could eat. 🍊 A little orange shower for the face 😄
Lumene Nordic-C Glow Refresh Hydrating Mist is a moisturizing facial mist with, among other things, vitamin C, cloudberry, and hyaluronic acid. It can be used both as an extra hydration step under your moisturizer and over makeup when your skin needs a little refreshment during the day. This is one of those little bottles I keep finding myself reaching for 😍 The mist is light and fresh, and I especially like the lovely, fruity scent – it almost feels like giving your face a little orange shower 🍊😂 I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, so I’m a bit cautious with products that promise a lot of “glow.” I want a glow – but not to look like I’ve been running after the bus 😉 This works well when I use it in moderation. A couple of sprays give the skin a fresher and more lively expression without the rest of the face feeling heavy. I like it best as a little refreshment when the skin looks a bit tired or needs extra moisture. The 50 ml bottle is also just the right size to toss in your bag. IDUN Minerals Hydra Soft Mineral Foundation has a light, silky-soft formula that melts into the skin, and the medium buildable coverage gives a light glowing finish. It is moisturizing, vegan, fragrance-free, and dermatologically tested. I really like this one! 😍 It feels light and comfortable on the skin but gives more coverage than I expected from such a light foundation. It evens out the skin nicely without the result feeling heavy or very "made-up." I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, and naturally, I notice that I can get a bit shiny throughout the day. I easily fix that with a bit of powder in the T-zone while letting the rest of my face keep that nice glow. That way, I get exactly the finish I like – fresh and natural, but not shiny. I think it looks best when I use relatively little product and build up coverage where I need it. I have the shade Gylla, and it suits my fair skin with a cool undertone very well. 🩷 An extra plus for the tube, which makes it easy to dose without getting out too much product. Yellow Dream has a warm and slightly spicy side, and then the fun gingerbread-like note sneaks in the background. Not full Christmas baking though 😂, more like a small warm spice sprinkle that makes the scent extra interesting. Then Soft comes in with sweet citrus and vanilla, and suddenly the whole combination becomes rounder, softer, and creamier. It ends up feeling warm, bright, and just sweet enough – with the little gingerbread note that makes you want to smell it again. Gingerbread in September?
