From Blonde Hair Towards My Own Color
I naturally have brown hair that I have lightened for many years. Now, however, I have been growing out my own hair color for a couple of years, and the plan is to eventually get back to my natural hair color completely. I wanted to try this toner on the ends to get closer to my own color. I applied the toner after shampooing on towel-dried hair. I left the toner on for about 10 minutes as instructed. In natural light, the tone looks reddish, which was disappointing. I was hoping for a cooler tone. I cannot recommend this if you dream of a cool brown shade. Maxfactor waterproof mascara
I found this mascara randomly over 10 years ago, and it’s the one I go back to every time. Sure, other brands have come along, but none beat this one. Do you have super straight lashes that don’t hold a curl? No problem with this. Curl your lashes, apply one coat of mascara and let it dry, apply more as you prefer and voilà! Curled lashes all day. It’s really that simple. The result is long, curled lashes that last all day. However, it doesn’t give much volume. Not only that, the mascara sticks like cement and can basically only be removed with an oil-based cleanser, sometimes not even that. I have long, straight, and thick hair with quite fine strands, and one of my biggest problems has always been that my scalp gets oily very quickly. The first thing I noticed was the scent, it is quite strong and perfumed, which is probably a matter of taste. Personally, I didn't think it was bad, but it is definitely noticeable. The consistency, however, was a pleasant surprise: it is gel-like, clear, and feels fresh and light on the scalp. I was a bit worried that it would make my hair greasy or heavy, but it didn't do that at all. When it comes to results, I didn't notice any significant difference. My scalp didn't get worse or oilier, but it also didn't get noticeably better. It also didn't extend the time between washes, but I wash my hair every day, so that's probably not so strange. I also don't have any issues like dandruff or irritation, so I would have liked to see how it works for someone who actually has such problems. The biggest downside for me is the price. If you use it as the instructions say, the bottle lasts about a month, and for something that didn't deliver clear results, it doesn't feel worth it. It was fun to try, and I liked the feel and consistency, but I won't buy it again. Summary: Lovely consistency, light feel, and luxurious scent, but for the price, I expected clearer results. So therefore 2/5 stars. Out of tradition, I ordered the calendar again this year. When opening the calendar (one layer of cardboard), several doors opened. The products do not fit properly in the doors, so the doors are ajar. The execution is also not as nice as in previous years. Good for removing yellow tones
Did the hair test and the idea was to do foil highlights and use this to get a cool result. But I have totally zero patience! 😅 ended up with completely bleached hair and super yellow! This got rid of almost all the yellow and gave a very cool result! However, I think the color doesn't last very long.. after two to three washes, despite color-protecting treatment, it tends to go more yellow. Can update and say that the third time I tried this, it worked really well!! The hair became really cool!! Very different series and brands, that is). I use this after washing my hair, and it has really helped to fix my problems. Today my scalp is calm, and the lengths have a lot of moisture, the wear between salon visits is also less than it has been before, I lose less hair, my hair feels stronger, and it grows faster than before.
