But maybe more of a heartfelt sigh. Because I bought products from Catrice for the first time a few weeks ago. Had I known there would be such an affordable calendar, I would have bought that instead. Because I wanted to test the brand itself. For those who don’t know Catrice, I want to say a few words. I have now tested four products from them – I am done with one review. And I am very impressed. Even though the price is low and the packaging cheap. Because the products almost reach the level of the more well-known and expensive brands. But I have also learned that Catrice can have varying quality, as they often change the collection to catch trends. So it’s not certain that all the content is equally good. But still. This must be an excellent gift for someone exploring makeup for the first time, but also for those who are experienced. I am a grown woman and I can definitely appreciate Catrice. You also get earrings, nail polish, and a scrunchie. The products in my picture – blush, setting powder, setting spray, and a skin tint – I put together a nice look with them. If there are any copies left after Christmas, I might buy it. Either for myself or my niece. But others can buy it first. It’s hard to give the right number of stars to the calendar since I’m unfamiliar with the content. But I can give it four. A good budget option
Catrice's baked blush is very good. Even though it costs very little. 🧡 I wasn't familiar with the brand Catrice before, and I want to write a bit about it at the end of my review. 🧡 The packaging is simple and maybe a bit fragile. I doubt it can withstand much. But so far, I find the open-and-close mechanism good. 🧡 The formula itself impresses me. I find it has a lot of pigment. And I think it has a lovely glow, and it can also be used as a highlighter. 🧡 It is very easy to apply and blend out. And it stays nice for a long time. The color was probably not quite what I imagined it would be, but that's how it is when you shop based on pictures. The color is somewhat darker. But I like it. 🧡 My skin is of the lightest type (red hair), mature and a bit dry. I used the blush together with Catrice Tinted Moisturizer, setting spray, and setting powder. I liked the result a lot, and I got compliments. 🧡 I believe this blush can compete with bigger well-known brands. It's the packaging they have cut costs on, not the product itself. ℹ️ So about the brand Catrice. Catrice is a German brand, owned by the same company as Essence. The philosophy behind it is to offer good quality without it costing too much. ℹ️ I've also read that Catrice wants to keep up with trends and therefore releases new collections often. This can lead to varying quality. ℹ️ Catrice has been spared from major scandals but has received criticism for short shelf life and products that get damaged during transport. And again, not all products are equally good. ℹ️ Catrice has 100% vegan ingredients, and they have strived to keep the level of microplastics and unwanted substances out of their formulas. ℹ️ Catrice follows EU legislation and does not test on animals. They also do not sell their products to mainland China, where animal testing was previously required. ⭐ But next time I will choose a different shade – and above all, I want to see it before I buy. Because of the color, which does not match the picture or description, I unfortunately have to deduct two stars. Great value for money💜
💜 I needed an affordable option for use after training, especially after having my hair in chlorinated water. 💜 After researching and reading a bit, I chose Elvital Hyaluron Pure Purifying Shampoo. 💜 My hair risks becoming drier than it already is when I'm in chlorinated water, I have to blow-dry it afterwards, then put a hat over my hair and go out in cold weather. 💜 The hyaluronic acid ensures moisture in the lengths. 💜 I don't have scalp problems, but I still wanted a shampoo that could cleanse hair and scalp after contact with chemicals and pollution. 💜 Salicylic acid does that for me. 💜 The shampoo smells strong but nice, and removes all traces of chlorine smell. I would say it has a typical floral scent that many cheaper shampoos have. The scent lasts long and can conflict with perfume. 💜 This is a shampoo I take with me, whether it's to training or traveling. Then it's not such a big deal if I lose it, compared to bringing my more expensive shampoo. 💜 I get a lot for the money. 💜 I like the design a lot. The cap is easy to flip off and on, and hasn't broken with rough handling. 2016 Pomade Brows
My model (aka my mom) and I tried doing Anastasia Beverly Hills Pomade Brows on her tattoos, and she now has a shape she loves. The lift in the face was brutal, and it’s so fun to see how the eyebrows can change the whole look of the face. The pomade is truly a staple product, and I almost wish we would bring it back. A product I want to highlight that is EXTREMELY underrated is the makeup brushes from LYKO and Gleeze. I use them constantly. A favorite for me is ByLyko’s Foundation and Concealer dual brush. Gamechanger. Also the Gleeze Powder Brush! ByLyko’s lip oils are one of the nicest formulations ever. Gleeze Blushes and Beauty Blenders are also so good! Another product I’ve tried now is Daars Cream Blush, I’m totally in love. It applies so nicely on makeup and gives such a beautiful glow! Lastly, Urban Decay All Nighter, the cult product god. The new formulation makes no difference in wear. It’s as amazing as I remember. It sets and makes the makeup last through wet and dry. I had a day at school, was blow-drying, doing makeup on classmates, ran to the train, the train was insanely hot, and not a bit of makeup disappeared. 10/10! What do you think? A little background information about my hair: Thin, curly, frizzy & dry I mainly bought this for the price, to be honest😆 I don't want to pay any price for a hair oil. I actually think it's good.
