My latest bleaching + toning
Did highlights on my quite dark hair and tried Garnier Truly Blond L+++ Bleach Extra Lightener. This bleach surprised me as it didn't damage my hair like most bleaches do. I didn't think it would get this light, so I was a bit surprised 😅 Right now it's a bit yellow, but I toned with Wella Professionals Color Touch Pure Naturals Icy and it will even out after a few weeks. Sooo good hair mask from L'Oréal Professionnel! I already have the shampoo, but these two together were truly magic✨ I have a very sensitive scalp, but this didn’t irritate at all! The Metal dx series removes and neutralizes metal particles found in tap water. The first thing I notice is the good scent and that it is very pleasant on the scalp. 💗 This hair shampoo is promoted to provide long-lasting cleanliness, 4 days of anti-frizz, and 4 days of shiny hair. From my experience, I think the hair becomes shiny and frizz-free, but I slightly disagree with the long-lasting cleanliness. I feel that it is a very good shampoo, but it doesn't necessarily cleanse the scalp as well as I had imagined, so I also use a cleansing and detox shampoo alongside it. I am completely in love with this! I have typical Scandinavian hair that is bleached and very dry in the lengths, and this hair product has really made a difference. It feels creamy but still super light in the hair and gives instant softness without weighing the hair down. The best part is that the hair doesn't get greasy at all, even if I happen to use a bit too much (which I often do 😅). Instead, the hair feels more moisturized, smoother, and much less frizzy, and the ends look healthier. Unfortunately, I didn't think this did much for me. I don't think it gives volume and it doesn't hold the curls for long either. I've really tried to like this, but I think there are much better products on the market. Their root lift is a favorite of mine, so I was very disappointed that this didn't work for me. The reason I still give it two stars is that it doesn't feel like a hair mousse usually feels. I don't find that it makes my hair greasy or rough, which is important to me.
