I usually use false lashes but always want to have a good mascara at home for when I feel like it. This one won't be it. I don't like this shape of the brush, but that's a matter of taste, of course. Way beyond expectations!
I have normal skin, a bit on the drier side. I've never liked any cream highlighter but always go for powder highlighters, but this one was actually way beyond my expectations. Very nice shimmer, a bit more on the "natural" side instead of glitter and overly pigmented. It blends in nicely and a little goes a long way. I got to test products from DAAR, I've seen so much about them on TikTok so it was super exciting to get them home!💜💛🩷 To start with, I want to give a big + for the packaging on all products from this brand!! I love the colorful design and that they stand out a bit from other brands, I've been tempted to try these just for that⭐️ I'm a bit timid when it comes to highlighters, just because most of them are so glittery, you want that dewy and glossy look! I had some hopes for this one but unfortunately, it's very glittery as well✨ I had the color marshmallow, and I might recommend this one when you've got a little tan, it was slightly too dark for me which looked a bit odd when I applied it on my cheekbones unfortunately, not my color! It's a bit oily in the formula which I like, much better than those that are drier, but unfortunately, it gets a bit patchy and is a bit hard to get even. I got to test products from DAAR, I've seen so much about them on TikTok so it was super exciting to get them home!💜💛🩷 I love all the packaging from the brand!! Colorful and stands out a bit from other brands, really a plus! I love both blush and bronzer sticks and have tested a few brands, and this is actually a new favorite! I have the color pink sunset which is a slightly darker pink tone, not too red and not too orange. But I will definitely try other colors of this🌟 It is super pigmented and I would therefore recommend applying it on the hand first and then with a brush, if you do that it is super easy to blend out and build up! It is not as "dry" as other brands I have tested, a bit more on the oily side. The only negative I have is maybe bad luck, but when I got it home there were a few marks and it looked almost used, even though it was an unbroken package. The lashes settle after a few minutes and I suspected that it would be a problem with this one too. It’s a lengthening mascara, similar to telescopic if you like that! Unfortunately, the only thing that works for me is a waterproof mascara or one with more volume, so this is more suitable for you with light or naturally curled lashes✨ However, I really like the brush and the formula, not too clumpy and a smooth brush! I was lucky to get to test this mascara! I have to say I am impressed. It is long-lasting, such a pretty bottle, and a very good and thin applicator! I usually use Maybelline's Sky High mascara and think this was a good comparison to that. Very patchy and thick
I was lucky to test this highlight stick! I have to say I am not impressed. It is heavy in use, soooo nice color but very patchy and thick on the skin. I also have Milk and Rare Beauty's highlight sticks at home and don't think this was a good comparison to the "more expensive" brands. It's a shame it was so thick and weird on the skin because the potential is there! Good mascara
I had the honor as a #lykoinflutester to test products from daar cosmetics. First up to test was this mascara. Since I have lashes on my upper lashes, I could only test on the lower row. But I usually use mascara for the lower lash line, so it became a remarkable test for me! I think this mascara was super good! It has a good brush head and doesn't give clumpy lashes. It is just the right thickness in the formula and gives a nice result. The only negative was that it wasn't waterproof, which I would like to have on my lashes. I don't know if it was the color, or that it doesn't have much coverage and glow. This color is rose-like, and I personally prefer a highlighter that is more on the golden side. Super cute rouge!!
I had the honor of being a #lykoinflutester to try products from daar cosmetics. This time I tested their rouge in the color pink sunset. My first thought was how cute their packaging is. This rouge is super pigmented, which I love, you need very little of this product to get a nice result. This color suited me well, as it is not too bright pink, but a bit darker. I have been testing this highlighter stick in the shade ”starstruck” for about 2 weeks and it’s totally okay 🩷 The packaging is so pretty with an inviting color, however, I wasn’t a fan of the twist function on the stick. You have to hold the little ”neck” when twisting instead of the body since it’s the whole body that needs to rotate. For me, it gets a bit complicated since it’s such a small area to hold, but you get used to it after a while. So this hasn’t been a big problem, just a little downside. I also think it smells incredible, like some sort of cake. I’ve tried different ways to apply the highlighter and think the best way is with a brush. However, I’ve experienced that it lifts products underneath, even the blush from the same brand. Additionally, I think it requires quite a bit of product to get a result, which is still very weak. The highlighter looks almost wet and contains a little bit of glitter, which many like, but I often have glowy makeup and then the highlighter basically adds nothing at all. With matte makeup, I like this product, but it adds very little to the makeup. I prefer a highlighter that shows a bit more than the rest of the makeup, which this one doesn’t really do in my daily routine. I have tested this blush stick in the color "pink sunset" for about 2 weeks and it is really awesome! 🩷 The product has such a nice packaging with an inviting color, however, I wasn't a fan of the twisting function on the stick. I have been testing this mascara for about 2 weeks and it is truly a new favorite! 🩷 As soon as I got the product home, I completely fell in love with the purple twisted packaging, it is really so beautiful. I was a bit unsure about the brush since my previous favorite mascara has a completely different type of brush, but this was really no problem when I went to use the mascara. The brush makes it so easy to apply the mascara, and no matter how I do it, it never gets clumpy, which is so nice. I am a person who uses makeup daily and have tried many different types of mascaras. Many non-waterproof mascaras weigh down the lashes in my opinion and make them completely straight. This is really not the case with this one, as it dries very quickly and keeps the lashes up all day. Additionally, it hasn't "smudged" anything on my eyelids during use, but all the mascara stays on the lashes. Since the mascara keeps the lashes up all day, I first thought that it must be very hard to remove. Therefore, I took my remover for waterproof mascara and everything disappeared immediately. I have now realized that it only takes a little water for the mascara to completely disappear. The water dissolves all the mascara and no black is left around the eyes. I am super satisfied with DAAR's mascara and have not experienced any problems with it at all. Super easy to apply and the lashes stay up all day without any mess. Also, it is super easy to remove. But if you like that, then this is something for you. I chose to apply it on my hand first and then use a brush. But unfortunately, it removes the foundation underneath if you're not careful. I have tested this blush stick from DAAR and it has become my new favorite blush 🩷 the color is super pretty, a slightly darker blush that applies really nicely on the skin! It doesn't separate and gives a natural result, is easy to blend out and is economical to use since you don't need much of it as it is pigmented 🌸 it lasts a long time even when you work out, I think this is nice and good quality! I have tested this mascara from DAAR and really like it! I have lashes that only stay up with waterproof mascara, but this one works for me too🌸 it holds up for a long time even though it’s not waterproof, which means I don’t have to spend more time removing the mascara in the evening 💛 if I train or sweat, they fall down more, but otherwise they hold up nicely<3 What I love about this is the brush and how it spreads the lashes, it doesn’t clump or separate the lashes weirdly! 🙌🏻 it gives a super nice finished result, smudges a little but not too much, so I really recommend testing this. I received this highlighter stick from #daar in the shade Pearl as a #lykoinflutester. Such a pretty color and so good, I have never liked highlighters in ”stick” form because I think they apply weirdly, so I have always preferred powder form more, but this one was surprisingly good, it’s not as ”wet” as others. I apply this either with a brush or directly on my face, and it doesn’t remove the foundation underneath, which I have experienced with other similar products, but not this one.
