I was recommended the mist by a friend who said it smelled like vanilla and orchid, which I fell for DIIIIIIREKT🤩 And it really is true because this smells like a vanilla-flower dream 🫧🍨☁️ I think it’s perfect for summer and I also have the other scents from Sol de Janeiro and have long loved their mists and body lotions! They really have a shared "abroad-summer-feeling-vibe" and who wouldn’t want to smell like sunset, white beaches, and tropical 🤩 I think they’re perfect because they’re not too strong, it’s a perfect scent that lasts throughout the day and on clothes!! Their body lotion is also my absolute favorite because it lasts sooooo long!! Especially after showering, the scent stays on the skin for about 2 days, which is like a perfume 💜 This particular body lotion is thicker in consistency compared to some of the others they have, like the orange one. This feels more like butter but absorbs quickly into the skin! Yesterday's party
Before I got a hangover, I had of course spruced myself up a bit, and it was time to test how the red-red works with my wavy hair texture. The answer is (according to me😝): absolutely excellent 🍒 I sprayed heat protection from Neqi, scrunched in mousse and gel from Umberto Giannini, hair oil from Kerastase, and finished with the texture spray from R+Co. I’m also linking the makeup I used. Pretty standard. These two products from Sol de Janeiro (40) are my favorite scent combo right now. As you can see, I don't have much left in the spray bottle! I got these two in a smaller size in an advent calendar. I absolutely have to order new ones soon in a larger size! I've tried several scents from Sol de Janeiro and this one stands out for me. The 62, which is one of the most popular, is too sweet for me. This one just smells soooo good, like I’ve been at a spa and eaten fruits. When you use the body cream, the scent lasts longer. I'm tempted to try the shower gel of the same scent - has anyone tried it? Please let me know what you thought! Also, I think this body cream helps with keratosis pilaris (red spots on the arms) that I have. I have to say that this is the absolute best hand cream I have ever tried! Very easy to work into the hands and leaves no unnecessary mess. Just like the rest of the 62 series, it smells absolutely magical! You can never get enough of that sweet salted caramel scent. Good size of the tube, so it's practical to take on the go. Small opening that allows you to get just the right amount of product out. I often have dry hands, especially now in winter. I've tried many different hand creams and this one is hard to beat. I love that you don't need much product, so the tube lasts a long time. In the pictures, you can see before and after 1 week of use. I've applied it to my hands in the evening just before bedtime.
