The Loreal Paris Telescopic Extentionist mascara packaging is simple but gives a luxurious impression. I liked the packaging's "locking" mechanism, which made it easy to ensure it would stay closed in my makeup bag. The product promises curl, separation, and length. I usually use waterproof mascaras to maintain curl, but this Loreal Paris Telescopic Extentionist also managed to hold the curl quite well. When applying the product in moderate amounts and one layer, the lashes stay beautifully separated, but with the second layer, the lashes tend to clump together immediately. The lengthening effect of the mascara was noticeable, and this mascara definitely lived up to its promise. The product also promises up to 24-hour wear. I noticed that the product did not flake or smudge throughout the day, but remained almost the same as when applied. With double cleansing, the mascara came off easily. I have tried countless eyelash curlers and this one is definitely the best of all I have tried. Previous eyelash curlers I have had break my lashes and generally struggle with my lashes not wanting to curl because they are very straight and long. But with this one, the lashes stay curled all day and I haven't experienced breaking my lashes with this one like I did with others. No coverage at all!
I had the opportunity to test this tinted SPF as [hashtag], and I must say that I am unfortunately disappointed. The product itself is very runny, but it absolutely does not feel sticky and leaves a nice, slightly velvety/glowy finish when it dries down. I also really like the packaging, it’s cute and travel-friendly. But… I honestly don’t really understand the point of this product. It provides no coverage whatsoever. I have attached a video where I applied it over pigment spots that have darkened in the sun, and it literally looks like I haven’t applied anything at all (as far as coverage goes). I was expecting a light (sheer) coverage, but this is more like zero coverage and it couldn’t be built up. So I might as well use a regular sunscreen, and then I prefer SPF 50 over 30, especially when the product doesn’t contribute any cosmetic improvement. I chose the shade MP200, and it did blend in perfectly both when I was pale before the vacation and now when I am sunburned, but that’s probably more because it barely leaves any tint on the skin. I would have recommended the shade MP200 to someone with a warm/neutral, light/medium skin tone. Like me! The wear time is okay, but I, who have combination skin, became quite oily from it pretty quickly. However, the skin looked and felt hydrated, which was a plus. It worked well under makeup, but now during the summer I wear quite little makeup, so that might not say much. I much prefer Beauty of Joseon’s regular SPF. It has a higher protection, and I can use a light foundation or concealer over it. I would still have needed to apply something over this if I wanted coverage. I give it a rating of 2 out of 5. Mostly because the packaging is nice and my skin gets glowy – but I won’t buy it again. I really wish it had at least a little coverage, otherwise it’s just a runny SPF 30. All three products are incredibly affordable. Here comes my review of their leave-in cream. I usually always use a similar product after washing my hair, and this one works just as well if you’re looking for an affordable leave-in cream. It’s applied to towel-dried hair, and then I blow-dry my hair. It protects against heat, ensures that the hair doesn’t tangle, and gives shine. The good thing about the cream is that you don’t have to mess everywhere with spray, but I control with my hands where I want the product. The hair still feels fresh but is still moisturized. I love the packaging, which is both practical and has a lovely color. #bylyko does it again! I've been wanting to try a heat spray for a long time but haven't done it, and now I got the chance to test three lovely hair products from Lyko's own brand. This makes me overdo it and spray a little everywhere. It got slippery on the bathroom floor before the spray dried. As a #LYKOINFLUENCER, I finally got to test this popular primer from #MILKMAKEUP, and here comes, as usual, my honest review! 🫧 A little about my skin type: I have combination skin, can feel a bit oilier in the T-zone and drier on the chin or around the mouth, I also get a bit of light eczema there in periods. Besides this, my skin is quite sensitive and reacts to some things, it can easily become irritated and flare up or get itchy rashes. I personally love using primer as the first step in my makeup routine! It’s a big plus that the packaging has a pump, we like it when it’s convenient. The product itself feels a bit sticky when you apply it to the face, but that’s probably the point. It applies easily over the face and dries quickly so that sticky feeling disappears, don’t worry. The primer has a mild scent that I actually think smells good, so we like that too. I have to be completely honest now – when I finished my makeup, I dropped my jaw over how flawless my base became thanks to this primer. It felt and looked almost like I had a filter on, so that part was definitely beyond my expectations! Now back to my sensitive skin - there’s something about this product that irritates, at least a little, and I’m unsure exactly what it is that my skin dislikes. After a few hours, I also noticed that my base started to flake off in patches, especially on my chin and around my mouth, it just rolled off like many others unfortunately seem to experience with the product. Even though I have a good skincare routine and let the primer dry properly before I applied the product, the same thing happened again, even when I used a little product. Maybe it doesn’t go well with something else I’m using? The problem with the product rolling off and my skin disliking some of the ingredients brings my rating down, and I won’t buy it again. I know it’s a favorite for many that it suits better, the makeup laid so incredibly nicely with this, so sad that it wasn’t just for me. If you’re looking for something similar, I recommend you try the NYX Plump Right Back Primer + Serum, I seem to tolerate that a bit better and it doesn’t flake off on me. Alone these were ineffective, but with LED therapy by Lyko I notice a big change🥰 It will still only be 3 stars because not everyone has LED therapy, and I think that some of the effect with these is lost. I regularly take the skin test here on LykoSosial to both get advice, try new things, and because I always want to learn and improve my skin. My biggest problem is dark circles, and considering that I use blood thinners, this is everlasting😅 And moisture is the best aid to reduce starting fine lines that can turn into deep wrinkles that I don't want. I am 47 years old and spend a lot of time and not least money to have an okay appearance. I use these around my mouth to try to reduce the typical 'bulldog look' that is part of growing up🙃 What I don't like about these is that after a while, my skin feels drier than before use! A bit overrated and not for my hair.
I have tried Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Shampoo and have mixed feelings about the product. First of all, it has a pleasant scent and a sleek packaging, I like the bottle that can be turned upside down. The consistency feels luxurious, and I can imagine it works well for someone with a healthy scalp.💆🏻♀️ Unfortunately, I have a rather dry and sensitive scalp that easily itches, and this shampoo did not work optimally for me. I did not experience any improvement in my scalp, and therefore it did not give my hair the care I need. 👎🏻 Because of this, I cannot give a completely fair assessment of its effect on normal hair.. Smells pretty okay but works even better! Absolutely the best I've tried, and I've really tried most of what's offered on the market, everything from cheap to more expensive brands doesn't even come close. I have a short pixie haircut with a fade undercut. I spray on towel-dried hair after the shower, then blow-dry the hair with cool/warm air and comb the hair the way I want it to lay. Sometimes I take a little extra on the most stubborn hair strands.
