Got a package in the mail so I thought I’d do a little mini haul ✨ here’s a summary of what I ordered: 💕 Bumble and bumbles butter mask: I’ve used their conditioner before and really love this brand, and this time I’m going to try their hair mask since my hair is starting to feel a bit dry 💕 beauty of Joseon eye cream: have used this before, I’ve tried many different eye creams and have stuck with this one – it contains retinal which I find helps with “fine lines” around the eyes and at the same time this product hasn’t triggered any irritation which is a big plus (!) 💕 tint for lashes and eyebrows from depend: I’m going to test this product in combination with a lash lift! Something you can do sometimes to hopefully feel a bit put together already when you wake up 💕 Bioderma’s CC cream: Super good that it has built-in sun protection☀️ unfortunately it looks a bit orange on me, but definitely worth trying. I find it works well in combination with concealer 💕 Lash lift from Nanolash: I’m going to try this and the lash tint – will post a “try on” video about this soon! It's actually a pre-shampoo treatment, but I've started using it as a hair mask, that is, after shampoo and before conditioner, and it gives more results (saw this method from Abbey Young). And since I already use coconut oil on the lengths before showering except when I use detox shampoo, I already have a protective barrier that prevents my lengths from getting too dry. Dry
Dry product, so a little goes a long way and since I don’t use it more than once a week except in the beginning when I used this every wash the first 5 washes as recommended. I don’t feel a big difference but still think it does something. It feels like my hair strands have become a bit stronger but I also don’t know 100% if this product specifically contributed to that. Many hype this up to the skies and I think it requires a lot of time and continuous use to see bigger results if you don’t have incredibly, incredibly damaged and bleached hair. However, the technology and ingredients seem promising so based on that they should have done something. I’ve used it for 9 months so I will continue to use it and see if I notice a bigger difference so I’ll get back!! I use it as Abbey Young recommends since my lengths need lots of moisture so you let it work for 4 minutes after deep cleansing shampoo and then put in conditioner and rinse out. I think this method works better as I feel I get more moisturized hair this way while also getting the repairing properties from K18. It is meant to complement the shampoo – soothe itching, counteract dandruff, and stimulate hair growth. It also has lighter silicones so you don’t get as much build-up. It protects colored hair from sun bleaching. It can be too light for those with very dry or bleached hair. The conditioner smells the same as the shampoo. I have fine hair and did not experience the conditioner weighing it down. After using Maria Nila's Head & Hair Heal shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks, I am convinced to switch from my regular brand. First, a bit about my hair: 👵🏻 I have typical Nordic hair. The strands are fine, but there are very many of them. My hair is in the early years of menopause, and I expect thinner hair and hair loss in the coming years. 🌪️ My hair is exposed to quite a bit of wear from chlorinated water, heat tools, hair ties, freezing temperatures, headsets, and hats. I also regularly take medications that have hair loss as a side effect. 🏆 I honestly don’t think I’ll find a shampoo and conditioner that better meets my needs. 🫧 The shampoo is gentle and mild, it prevents hair loss and promotes hair growth, provides moisture and care, and protects against wear. 🫧 It also protects against dandruff and scalp fungus for those who have these issues. And it protects colored hair. 🌸 I found the shampoo very easy to distribute and rinse out. I think it smells absolutely heavenly. It’s fresh, light, and floral. I don’t find the scent too strong (but also not discreet enough for those who dislike perfumed products). 🌸 I like the design a lot. The color reflects the scent – a mild floral fragrance. The bottle fits well in the hand and it’s easy to snap open the cap. 🥰 And the hair feels so good afterward. I found my hair easy to comb, it became light and airy (and as mentioned, I had thin hair), shiny and pleasantly scented. 💰 And it’s economical. Tested this trio in connection with the LYKO creator deal🤩 and this was such a good hair oil! Heal shampoo and conditioner: I always get comments from hairdressers that my scalp looks so red and irritated, without really understanding why it happens. The shampoo and conditioner prevent dandruff and scalp problems. It is also supposed to be good for hair growth. I have used this series a couple of times now and notice a difference in that my scalp is less irritated🤩 so this was top-notch for me. The scent of the shampoo and conditioner is also very good, it smells fresh but mild❤️ leaves the hair silky soft and without frizz☺️ Argan Oil: It is a nourishing oil that makes the hair so soft and shiny.
