✨ Total game-changer for my hair!

Finally time for me to review the set System 2 by Nioxin ~ Loyalty Kit for Thinning Hair. I have thick normal/dry hair with developed thinning, naturally (not colored). Over time, I have experienced that my hair has become weakly thinned and I have also lost quite a bit of hair, especially in the shower but also when I brush or handle it during the day. Note that I do not use any other products in my hair and do not style it either. The product is described by Nioxin itself as: Nioxin System 2 routine refreshes the scalp, reduces hair loss due to broken hair strands, strengthens the hair, and gives a healthy shine to natural hair. I have reviewed the series based on scent and how well the product has worked over time. The scent is very fresh with a slight hint of menthol/cucumber. Which makes the hair feel very fresh after washing. My hair steps: ~ Wash the hair with shampoo 2 times to get it really clean, ~ Conditioner in the scalp and lengths, ~ Finish with Scalp & Hair Treatment (shake to activate it). Then apply to the scalp and work into the hair from root to tip. Do not rinse out. Review (pros and cons): ~ good scent and the hair feels like it has been salon-treated after all steps (i.e. soft, good scent, and voluminous). ~ do not lose nearly as much hair in the shower as before and the hair does not break as easily, I have noticed - very satisfied with the results so far even though I want to use it for an even longer period. ~ good and convenient packaging. ~ the conditioner is lightweight and leaves the scalp moisturized without weighing it down. ~ Nioxin Scalp & Hair Treatment gives each hair strand increased fullness which makes me feel that the hair looks fuller and healthier. ~ Have tested the smaller packaging of 150ml and it goes quite quickly for me as I have long hair, can therefore feel a bit not economical especially since I need double cleansing and quite a bit of conditioner. ~ The product is relatively high in price but I feel that the quality makes up for it. A little about me: sensitive scalp that often itches both right after washing and as soon as the hair gets dirty. Fine hair. This kit works and feels like any shampoo/conditioner kit, which is convenient. Smells good. However, I did not experience any improvement, neither relief from itching immediately nor reduced flaking over time. Additionally, the serum was difficult to apply and distribute on the scalp, it sat on top of the hair and hardened. It could be combed out, but it was difficult, and the hair still looked weighed down and dirty, which feels disappointing right after washing. There are cheaper and better scalp products out there that are also cruelty free. Not recommended! ➕️ Easy to use ➕️ Smells good, mint! (not gum mint but more of a spa mint) ➕️ Tingling, activating feeling in the scalp (due to mint?). First, a little about my hair: Nordic, thin, color-treated, hair loss & frizzy. As someone with chronic illness and after going through pregnancy, my hair has an extra need for care and attention, especially in the winter months 🫶🏼 I was very excited to test this hair mask after reading that it is supposed to repair colored and damaged hair that is thin! It is density-protecting and provides up to 97% fewer broken hair strands, so wow! I have used this after washing my hair, and it really makes my hair soft and smooth, and I find that my hair is very manageable after use 🙌🏼 I also feel that it gives my hair moisture as it nourishes deeply. My hair feels fresh as the color is preserved, while it is supposed to protect against new damage for all hair types! I do not experience greasy hair or that it becomes heavy. I notice that there is not as much hair loss as before already, so I am impressed! It is also available in 2 sizes, so you can buy the smaller one, which is actually on sale now to test 💸🤍 Run and buy! Besides this, the design is nice and the scent is neutral. Nioxin Night Density Rescue is a leave-in treatment that is clinically proven to increase hair density in 2 months, and I haven't used the product for that long. But I have already seen an effect in that my hair looks fuller! The hair serum contains a powerful blend of antioxidants, which are known to neutralize free radicals on the scalp's surface. This results in the scalp feeling both healthy & fresh 💙 At the same time, it is suitable for all hair types! For application, I followed the instructions on the product page at Lyko. I sectioned my hair and applied the specified amount with the pipette on the bottle, then I massaged it in with my fingertips. I finish by brushing through my hair, as it is NOT supposed to be rinsed out 💙 When it comes to scent, it is fresh and clean, and not as intense as the shampoo and conditioner. You can feel that the product is working on the scalp! The consistency is light and thin, and I do not experience getting an oily scalp. All in all, it is a good night serum, but it is difficult to assess the final result since it has not been used for 2 months at the time of writing. But I definitely see that it has had some effect so far! I think the price is a bit steep, hence one star off, and I am unsure if I will buy this again since I already have products from before that I am satisfied with. You feel fresh and clean after use! And it gives a cooling sensation with its mint/menthol scent. For me, it is a bit intense and not something I would usually go for. But since the product does the job and delivers results, I am willing to use it 🤍 Nioxin Scalp Therapy Conditioner: A light conditioner that is supposed to strengthen the hair and provide moisture to the scalp and hair from root to tip 🫶🏼 This also has the intense mint/menthol scent that provides a cooling effect. I am not used to using conditioner from root to tip, but it worked very well with this one without weighing down or making the hair greasy! It leaves the hair clean, soft, shiny, and gives a feeling of fullness. The hairbrush glides easily through the hair afterwards, I experience! Nioxin Scalp & Hair Treatment: The last step in the routine is to apply this product to the scalp and work it into the hair from root to tip without rinsing out 🤍 The hair feels fresh and feels fuller after using this! I have tested this hair mask from #nioxin as a #lykoinflutester and loved it! My hair is typically Nordic, with fine hair strands. It is bleached at the ends and naturally colored from under the ear and up. It quickly becomes dry at the ends and can get oily at the top with the wrong products. I have no issues with hair loss but lose hair like everyone else in periods. I like simple routines with few quality products that work. The mask should be used from the middle of the hair and down, which suited me and my hair perfectly! Since the shampoo I used from Nioxin dried my hair out quite a bit, I desperately needed something that provided moisture. The rescue was this hair mask!! It is economical in use and very easy to apply, it has a very light scent and is fresh in appearance. My hair became shiny and felt healthy after the first round, without the treatment weighing it down. I am very satisfied with this mask and will definitely use it again. It suited my Nordic hair very well! Note! I am very careful to rinse out products like this precisely because I know that my hair can quickly become weighed down. The shampoo is a perfectly okay regular shampoo, the conditioner doesn't quite do the job, and the spray is very strong without me seeing any significant results. My hair is typically Nordic, with fine hair strands. It is bleached at the ends and naturally colored from under the ear and up. It quickly becomes dry at the ends and can get greasy at the top with the wrong products. I have no issues with hair loss but lose hair like everyone else in periods. This kit contains shampoo, conditioner, and a spray. The shampoo smells clean and fresh, which is perfect for someone who prefers discreet fresh scents. It is easy to massage into the scalp and lathers well, giving a nice feeling of being really clean. It is not revolutionary, and I did not notice any change in the number of hair strands that fell out during the month. It cleans well, but in return, it leaves the hair a bit dry, so here a proper hair mask or conditioner must follow. This brings us to the conditioner, which should be applied to the entire hair from scalp to ends. Something that honestly scared me a bit. See picture! 👀 NB I am not sensitive and can tolerate most creams, but this spray!!! They write on the packaging that redness may occur, but when even my hands, which only got a little on them, turned completely red and peeled the next day, then there is actually something that does not belong in a product you put on yourself in my opinion. So finally, a perfectly okay shampoo, I would skip the rest of the kit. No change in hair loss during the period.
