Nice kit
This kit comes in a very nice toiletry bag with a soap, oil, brush, and two small soft cloths. It’s a perfect gift kit or to buy for yourself. The soap is mild and fragrance-free. It lathers well and doesn’t dry out the skin. The brush is very soft and nice with a sturdy wooden handle. My son (14 months) has a bit too much and a bit too curly hair for the brush, but it’s probably very good for the little ones who don’t have much hair yet. However, he thought the brush was a very good toy in the bathtub and to chew on. The oil is also very good, smooth and fragrance-free. It’s runny but not so much that you feel it’s loose and runs out of your hands. I massaged the oil in after the bath and the skin became soft and moisturized. One downside is the screw cap. When dealing with small children, you don’t want loose caps lying around. It only took about 30 seconds for my son to try to take the cap. The cap is also sized so it can be put in the mouth and poses a choking hazard. Good but no wow feeling
As #influtester, I got to test this hair mask from #amika. It has a nice packaging which gives a good first impression. It smells good without being too much. I have very long and thick hair and usually don’t have many problems with my hair feeling dry. This made me not notice a huge difference when I used the product. I found the product easy to distribute in my hair and it didn’t feel sticky in my hair afterwards. The product blended well into my hair and there was no product mess on the pillow. I got to try this dry shampoo from #amika as #influtester. I really like it! It has a nice packaging and smells good without being too sharp in scent. I have two small kids and often work out before work, which makes a good dry shampoo worth its weight in gold for me 😍 Especially since I have very long and thick hair, so washing it is a whole process that you don't do at the gym before work. I am very fond of perfumes and have a collection of over 30 different ones, so I was super happy when I won Clean Sugar-Coated EdP and got to test it!🫶🏻 Scent: The perfume opens with a very sweet, almost caramel-like scent, thanks to coconut sugar and pistachio. It is also fresh, and when it dries down, it becomes a bit more bitter, probably due to the orange blossom. Softer and Healthier Hair ✨
As #influtester, I have tested this from #amika for the last month My hair type: I have long, wavy hair with a bit of a challenging combination: my scalp gets oily quickly, while the lengths are drier after many years of bleaching. I now dye it dark brown, but the ends still show signs of being a bit damaged. I wash my hair 1-2 times a week. First impression and packaging The packaging is incredibly cute, but most importantly: it is practical. The pump on top makes it very easy to dispense the right amount without any mess. I have nothing to complain about here! Consistency and scent Here it’s important to be aware: the product is quite heavily perfumed. Personally, I think it smells absolutely amazing, and I love that the lovely scent lingers in my hair for a couple of days, but if you are sensitive to scents, you might want to steer clear. The cream requires that I use quite a bit of product to distribute it evenly in my dry lengths, so it might not be the most economical for those of us with a lot of hair. The result after 4 weeks of use I have tested the treatment on both damp and dry hair over a month, and the difference is noticeable: Fewer tangles: My hair is much easier to comb through in the morning, and the ends are much softer than before! Attaching before and after pictures ☺️ Softer ends: My dry lengths feel significantly more hydrated and less "stiff". Doesn't weigh down: Despite my oily scalp, I don’t find that this product makes my hair greasy faster. Conclusion All in all, I am very satisfied! No winner for me unfortunately
As #influtester I have tested this dry shampoo from #amika for the last month I have long, wavy hair with a somewhat demanding combination. My scalp gets oily quickly, while the lengths show signs of years of bleaching. Even though I now dye it dark brown, the ends are still dry and a bit split. I wash my hair rarely (1-2 times a week), so I really appreciate a good dry shampoo between washes. First impression and application: The packaging is fresh and nice in colors, although the spray nozzle itself is completely standard. Unfortunately, the positive sides stop there for me. Here are the reasons why this didn’t become a winner: I have to use huge amounts of product for my hair to even look less greasy. Which leads to my hair looking more gray. Texture: The hair has a strange, sticky feeling. When I run my fingers through my hair, I’m left with white residue on my hands. Dusting: It dusts and flakes a lot on the clothes. Smell: When the scent mixes with the oils on the scalp, I find that my hair smells directly unpleasant. Conclusion: With my oily scalp and dark color, this unfortunately wasn’t a winner for me. I must say I have very thin and thinning hair, especially at the front. The cause is hormonal (open for product recommendation ☺️), and I haven’t found any solutions yet. New Type of Hair Oil
Now listen up! I was super excited about this product because I had never heard that hair oil could come in an aerosol can!! Really innovative! #waterclouds Unfortunately, this won't be a go-to product for me. Despite the fact that it can be used on both dry and wet hair, I found I prefer to use it on wet hair because of the scent. This product has a really strong fragrance, which is a bit too much for me. When used on damp hair, the smell isn't as overpowering as the hair dries. But doesn't that kind of defeat the whole point of the product? As an oil, I find that the product works quite well and provides shine and likely also moisture like other oils. As #influtester, I had the honor of trying Björn Axen's volume series, and below is my honest review. 👁️ First Impression The bottle is like everything else from Björn Axen, sleek and looks really nice on the shower shelf ✨ The snap lid is also a big plus. I've seen that some find it hard to get the product out, but a simple tip is to store it upside down, problem solved! The consistency is thick and creamy, which makes it easy to distribute in the hair. I have now tested this dry shampoo that #influtester and here are my thoughts 🥰 This is a real gem! I like the sleek packaging and the size of the bottle. The pump is very simple, and I think the distribution of the product is even. What I wasn't prepared for was that it's a wet dry shampoo, and I thought I would end up with very greasy hair, but that didn't happen. I sprayed the product in my hair and massaged it into my scalp, let it sit for about 5 minutes, and then things happened, and my hair became significantly fresher 😍 I think it holds up nicely and well throughout the day without needing to touch up, and using it two days in a row works excellently as well. Exciting product!
As #influtester, I got to test one of waterclouds' latest releases, their instant dry shampoo! This is basically a dry shampoo but in wet form, super exciting since I've never tried anything like this before! 🤩 The first impression is the scent, wow wow wow, I want this scent as a perfume! Carmex tropical stick
I have as #influtester received this lip balm from Carmex to test for a while, and for me, it's a thumbs up! I think this is a good everyday lip balm that provides moisture to my dry lips now during the winter. With SPF 30, I believe this is and feels even better ☀️ This is not my favorite from Carmex, and what brings the rating down a bit is the scent, as it didn't quite suit my taste, a bit too artificial compared to the others I've tested. Carmex Lip Balm Minis
As #influtester I have received these goodies to test and review, and I can say that I love them 😍 Now during the winter, my lips get incredibly dry and need some moisture for my lips constantly. I would say these are an incredible help for me, they have given moisture to my lips and also provide a shine that reminds me of lip gloss. I have especially fallen for the one with strawberry scent since the flavor is a personal favorite. As #influtester I have had the honor of trying Björn Axen's volume series, and below is my honest review. 👀 First impression .. was a direct wow on the scent! Super fresh and luxurious without being too heavy. The consistency feels like it might require quite a bit since it is a leave-in product, but I was heeelt wrong. It is economical and easy to distribute in the hair. On towel-dried hair, it feels very moisturizing without weighing it down or making it sticky. 🫧 Effect and result When you start blow-drying, you notice that the hair gets more hold and can feel a bit rougher, but that’s also what builds the volume. With a small amount of oil in the lengths, the final result was really nice! Airy, frizz-free, and with a lot of volume. I find that the hair is much easier to style, and since the hair feels fuller, it’s also easy to achieve volume with just your hands. A BIG bonus is that it works great even with tape extensions! 🌸 Summary A really, really good styling product when you want volume, hold, and a lasting hairstyle. Perfect for blow-drying or heat styling and a big plus for having heat protection as well. Nice bottle, super good spray pattern (no splatters 🙌) and a mild scent that doesn't get too sweet, making it pleasant to use daily. Very economical product where a little goes a long way! Sprays evenly without splatters and is easy to dose. 🫧 Effect and Result Provides nice volume without weighing the hair down, just as promised. After applying to towel-dried hair with a focus on the roots, and then blow-drying, the result was full and airy. The volume felt natural and held well. BUT since I have tape extensions, I found that the hair became a bit rough around the bonds and could tug a little… 🌸 Summary A really good volumizing spray that delivers on fullness and durability. Perfect for you without extensions, I would say, but otherwise, it's worth being cautious around the tape bonds.
