    I have long, straight, and pretty "normal" hair and have tested quite a few hair dryers over the years. But this absolutely wonderful hair dryer has truly become a new favorite. I love that my hair feels soft and shiny afterwards, not dry or static, which I often get with other dryers. And when I'm done?     Holy grail alert ✨

    I have tested so many heat protectants, but wow, this one is truly a keeper. First of all: the scent? Like, it smells so heavenly without being overpowering, kind of fresh salon vibes. I always spray my hair with this before I blow-dry my hair with the OBH Nordica x Björn Axén nano hair dryer, or before I straighten and curl my hair. My hair feels soft, shiny, and not at all crispy and stiff like some other products can make it. Plus, it doesn’t leave any sticky residue or fried feeling.     I’ve tried Gloss Shield Heat Protection from Izel Beauty and I must say that this actually impressed me 🫶 🫧 A little about my hair type: I have typical Scandinavian hair - fine, normal in thickness, and pin straight. My hair is highlighted and can sometimes get a bit dry at the ends and frizzy. I wash my hair every other day! It really does its job, I use heat tools often and feel that my hair feels protected, shiny, and soft after use. The mist is chef’s kiss, fine, even, and perfectly dosed. My hair doesn’t get wet or drenched, but you get just the right amount with each spray. I love that you can spray it on both damp and dry hair without leaving any sticky residue or dull surface. I’ve been using it daily lately and it absolutely has a place in my hair routine going forward! The thing that takes away a star is the same thing as with the rest of the line - the scent. It’s sweet, floral, and sure, it smells good, but it’s so strong. It easily overpowers my regular perfume, which is a bit of a shame when you’ve spent time smelling like your signature haha.
