- I have tested L'Oréal Paris True Match Hyaluron Tinted Balm via Smartson and I am really positively surprised! 💜 It gives a natural, hydrated result with a nice glow and feels light on the skin – perfect when I want a lighter base during the summer. It also comes with a handy applicator sponge and a built-in mirror, which makes it easy to touch up on the go. I noticed that the color looked darker in the packaging than it did on the skin, so my tip is to test the shade directly on the skin before buying. Cetaphil Daily Defence Facial Moisturiser SPF30 – (3.5/5)
I have normal / slightly dry skin and think this is a good moisturizing cream, even though it is significantly greasier than I expected. For me, that actually doesn’t matter – I almost prefer slightly richer creams since I have a multi-step skincare routine, and it works well as a moisturizing final layer. However, I believe it suits best during autumn and winter when the skin needs a bit of extra moisture. Now in summer, when my skin gets a bit oilier and it’s really warm outside, I sometimes feel the cream is a bit too greasy on my face. At the same time, it contains SPF, which makes me still want to use it during the day. What I miss most is SPF 50 instead of SPF 30, especially for the face where I want higher protection. For neck and décolleté, I think SPF 30 works perfectly fine ☀️ Another big advantage is the price. I think it’s very affordable and you get a lot of product for the money. Overall, it’s a good and moisturizing cream from cetaphil that suits my normal/slightly dry skin, but it will probably mainly be used during the colder months. With a lighter texture and SPF 50, it would have gotten a higher rating. Cetaphil 6 Hour Fast Clear Pimple Patch – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
This was the product I was most impressed by. I tried the patch right away when I felt a pimple was about to break out. Already the next day it had calmed down significantly and never developed into that big red pimple that usually leaves marks. I have now used the patches several times and gotten the same result. I also like that they stay on really well. One of the patches even stayed on when I forgot about it and took a shower. They are thin and comfortable, but a bit visible if you look closely, so I prefer to use them at home or overnight. For me, they have really made a difference and are a product I will buy again. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser – ⭐⭐⭐ ☆ ☆ (3/5)
I have normal skin, but it gets easily dry if I use a cleanser that is too strong. What I like about this one is that it cleanses gently without the skin feeling tight or dry afterward. It works well as an everyday cleanser, and the pump bottle makes it easy to use. What I did notice, however, is that I needed to use quite a bit of product to feel that my skin was properly cleansed. If I had makeup or sunscreen on, I also needed to supplement with another cleanser or do a double cleanse to get my skin completely clean. Therefore, it doesn’t feel very economical to use. Despite that, I think it’s a good cleanser that suits when you want something mild that doesn’t dry out the skin. I will continue to use it, but mainly on days when I don’t wear much makeup or multiple layers of SPF. This will be a product I take with me to the countryside since I only need to remove the day’s and morning’s residue. An eye cream that found the right balance 🥇
I have tried many eye creams over the years, but it’s not always easy to find a formula that feels sufficiently moisturizing without being too rich. What I appreciated most about All I Am Eye Creme Hydrating Care was exactly the texture. The cream is light and easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and feels comfortable under the eyes without leaving a heavy or greasy feeling. For me, this is especially important because I can easily get small white bumps, so-called milia, from overly rich eye creams. With this one, I didn’t experience that problem, while the skin around my eyes felt hydrated and soft. I also like the packaging. The tube makes it easy to dose the right amount of product and feels both hygienic and practical. A gentle cleanser that works best in the morning
The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser is a simple and uncomplicated cleanser that I recently finished. The formula starts as a cream and transforms into a light oil when warmed between the hands. It feels pleasant on the skin and cleanses without leaving it tight or dry, which I appreciate. For me, it worked best as a morning cleanser or as the first step in a double cleansing routine. After a full day of makeup with foundation, concealer, mascara, and eyeshadow, I found it struggled to remove everything on its own, which often made me want to follow up with an additional cleanser. The product is completely fragrance-free, which many will surely appreciate. Personally, I think a subtle, fresh scent can contribute to a more luxurious user experience, so I would have liked a bit more of that. I chose the smaller 50 ml size and was surprised at how quickly it ran out.
