Empties since like... the beginning of the year π
Apparently it didn't work out so well with empties this year for me π¬ππ€₯π I think every month that "NOW I'm going to do it!" But it still hasn't happened. But here we go. I have no idea when I did this last, but I'll take the latest pictures I have π β€οΈ Body Shop Edelweiss face cream - LOVE! Light and absorbs quickly into my combination skin. I probably have 7 of them in stock π β€οΈ Body Shop Edelweiss serum - LOVE this too! Light gel-like consistency and effective against signs of aging. β€οΈ Sweed Cloud mascara - goes through a few in a year. The best mascara in the world! Holds regardless of weather and emotional chaos. Love it! β€οΈ Shampoo + conditioner from ByLyko - the most amazing scent in the world! Unfortunately, it doesn't suffice for my flyaway and dry hair in winter, but in summer it works great! β€οΈ Paulaβs Choice eye cream - very soft and nice eye cream. Too rich for daytime, but wonderful for night. β€οΈ Lumene moisturizing oil - my lifesaver in winter. Works great with almost all other products and moisturizes properly. Also feels like it protects a lot against the cold. β€οΈ Niche Beauty Lab Theramid serum - got this recommended by lovely Linda in the skincare test, and it worked wonders for my red cheeks! Absorbs quickly and is very pretty to have in the bathroom cabinet π β€οΈ LH Cosmetics setting powder - MAGIC!!! Blurs all pores and imperfections. However, it gets very dry, so please have something moisturizing underneath. β€οΈ Hagi Body Yoghurt - smells fantastic and a bit festive. Vegan, CF and absorbs in two seconds, which I appreciate! β€οΈ Barry M bodyscrub - completely fantastic and wonderful scrub that unfortunately has been discontinued πππ π Setting spray from Hickap - even though the makeup holds up nicely all day, it dries my skin out a bit. π Cleansing mousse from Hickap - didn't remove the worst makeup. Probably works well if you don't use e.g. eyeshadow. π Lumene serum - the scent is fantastic and I could use the product just for that, but it might not be sustainable π I don't really know if it does much for my skin otherwise unfortunately. π Topz micellar water - pretty okay product that I will probably buy again. Good price and worked fine. However, I'm not completely sold, which is why it falls into the Nja category. π ByLyko hair mask - smells heavenly like the shampoo and conditioner in the same series. However, it doesn't work on my dull hair, which is extremely demanding during the winter months. But the scent makes it worth it anyway π β Body Shop Edelweiss peeling - no no no. As much as I love the edelweiss series, this one has to go. β Rituals Shower oil - so it's suuuuuper nice, and smells very good, BUT it leaves no clean and fresh feeling?? Feels like it doesn't cleanse at all in the shower, and I need to follow up with another cleanser afterwards. β Garnier Body Cream - smells very summery and fresh of mango, and also has a bit of glitter in it, which is very nice against sunburn. Unfortunately, it was too rich for me, as I need light but still moisturizing products. β YOPE intimate wash - a lot speaks for this product - vegan, the price, the ratings... but my covid nose can't handle the scent. (Nah, maybe you shouldn't smell so much on intimate wash, but it sneaks up to my nose whether I want it or not in this case - not). This had to be a start at least, I have more pictures but could only upload 10 ππ€₯ Hugs and happy third advent from me!

A little more than good
In my latest assignment as #lykoinflutester, I got to try this setting spray from #rebeccastella. I have combination skin with dry cheeks but an oily T-zone. I wear makeup daily, but I rarely go beyond eyes and lips. It has a sleek bottle that looks nice on display, but the spray nozzle doesn't distribute a smooth "spray", but more of a mist (hence the name) that I find a bit weak. It almost feels like it doesn't hit the face, which makes it easy to maybe use more than what is actually needed. It is very light and feels barely on the skin, which I do appreciate. My skin hasn't reacted to it, and it hasn't dried it out. The makeup then lasts all day, and in the pictures, it has both rained and there has been the occasional mental meltdown (π€ͺ), and the makeup is basically in the same place as when I applied it in the morning. However, it handles simpler looks and everyday makeup better than glitter and glamour. The scent is fresh and not heavy at all. It does disappear immediately after application. However, it doesn't do anything better or worse than any other setting spray I've tried (and trust me - I've tried many π . Fragrance-free and light cream
I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to try this soothing and moisturizing cream from #purito. My skin is combination with dry areas on the cheeks but with an oily T-zone, which can make it tricky to find products that work for both. It has a light and gel-like consistency that feels light on the skin. I often have problems with creams not sinking in properly, but this one is almost dry after a short time on the skin - so nice! It is also completely fragrance-free! I have a night mask from Purito (lyko.com/sv/purito/purito-luminous-ceramide-sleeping-pack-100ml) from before, and it is greasier than this one. I have almost exclusively used this cream together with this serum, also from Purito (lyko.com/sv/purito/purito-centella-unscented-serum--60-ml) plus essence from Body Shop and Naturie, during the testing period, both morning and evening. I take a pea-sized dollop of cream and massage it in after essence and serum. It comes in a LARGE packaging of 100ml (which will last for a smaller eternity), and it is very generous since many other face creams "only" are 50ml. So much product for the money!πΈπ» I would of course have preferred a packaging with a pump, but since it is so light in consistency, it works well with a tube. All in all, it is a really nice product at an incredibly good price, which would probably suit all skin types. A great serum!
I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to try this soothing serum from #purito. It has a light gel-like formula that easily melts into the skin and absorbs very quickly, leaving no greasy residue - which I greatly appreciate and often have issues with. It is supposed to have a brightening effect, which I can really see a difference in when I look at the pictures. My skin tone is much more even since I started using the serum. I love that the product has a pump, and a lovely color on the cap, even though the bottle is quite dull, and aesthetically I think their previous logo was better. I donβt actually have sensitive skin, but the serum has been a real winner nonetheless. I really think the price is reasonable, and itβs almost a steal now that itβs on sale. π€ I can definitely see myself buying the product in the future as it hit the mark on a lot! Incredibly wonderful scent!
I got introduced to this brand a few years ago, and got hooked on many of the scents. Since then, I've sporadically bought more products from their range, though on sale since I think they are a bit pricey normally ππ¬ I just LOVE the scent of this! So sweet, yet still fresh and lovely scent of blackcurrant - which isn't even a favorite scent (or flavor for that matter) for me π I only use 4 sticks so the scent doesn't get too intense (and my partner starts to complain π) but it works just fine and is just right. I got to test this gadget that is supposed to promote hair growth and thickness, from #stylpro like #lykoinflutester. I have thin, Scandinavian hair. I also have high temples/sides, which is where I have used this thing in hopes of increased hair growth right there (hope is the last thing to abandon you, right? π). Since the product is supposed to be used on dry hair without products in it, it has limited my usage, as I love hairspray and consider it essential π . I have used it about every other to every third day, and then especially in the temples. It is quite time-consuming since, according to Stylepro's own recommendations (it says 3 min here on Lyko), you should use it for at least 5 min on each spot. I have, unlike others, now used it statically - meaning I just held it against the same point while it was running and did not drag it through the entire hair/scalp. I find the instructions a bit vague, so I have used it to the best of my ability and how I interpreted them. My way has therefore made the procedure a bit cumbersome and not something I looked forward to since I have weak arms and felt they went numb after a couple of minutes this way π . The massage is very "buzzing" and can probably be perceived as noisy and loud, but is quite cozy after a while even though it makes it so you don't hear much else π. The battery is supposed to last for several sessions according to the instructions, but already after two to three 5-minute sessions, it needs to be charged, so I never really got into a flow. You also don't get the actual "plug thing" with it, just the cord. (Good thing I had such a thing at work, because at home I had none π). Well, but the result then? Yes, I actually think I have seen some increased hair growth, although it shows poorly in the pictures since I have so much light regrowth now π I really believe that daily use can help, and I will continue to use it (for hope lives)! π1 product in post Neither bu nor bΓ€ (Γ€n)2333 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Incredible longevity of the scent!
I have had the honor of testing this lovely perfume from Cacharel. The sample I received is 5 ml in a wonderful little cute bottle that is a miniature of the original sizes. The test bottle has no spray but is dabbed on. It contains many of my favorite scents, like coconut, orange blossom, jasmine, and vanilla. My first impression was that the scent was very strong, and at first, I wasn't completely sold on it, but oh how it has grown on me! It becomes lighter on the skin than it is in the bottle, and therefore becomes milder but just right. The scent lasts all day, and when I say ALL day, I mean it! Despite a whole day of activities both indoors and outdoors, it still smells just as good and nice 12 hours later. I could absolutely have bought it in a larger size considering the longevity. βοΈ Thank you cacharel for letting me test your lovely perfume! Good but not the best
I became super curious about Topz when they released the cleansing product, and I started with this micellar water. It is basically fragrance-free and doesnβt need to be rinsed off. I use it as the last step in my cleansing routine, after makeup removal/face wash to get rid of the last traces of makeup. In the picture, one side is swiped with micellar water and the other is just washed with cleanser after a proper makeup. Empties April-May
I've dragged out a bit of time for my latest empties, but here it comes! Dr Ceuracle Essence - A bit pricey but OH so concentrated! Lasted about 7 months with use 2 times/day. Will absolutely buy again! Shampoo and conditioner from Kolai - Hahah this was a bit funny because I got this set as a gift from my sister-in-law just before Christmas. Due to influencer assignments and other products I had going, it had to wait a bit, so I've used this first in the spring. I've really liked them, especially because of the scent - absolutely amazing! It lasts a long time too. When I looked them up for possible repurchase, I saw that I had reviewed these a few years ago, and I don't remember at all testing them before! I also rated them quite well, but funny that I've changed my mind! ππ€ͺπ Spray conditioner from Kolai - recurring in my bathroom cabinet. Same wonderful scent as the shampoo and conditioner, and a good complement to tame frizzy hair, something I unfortunately suffer from most of the year. Deodorant from LdB - also a recurring product, buy over and over again. Incredibly good price, and often the only thing that works against sweat. I generally sweat very little, but when it does happen, it is very reliable. Essence mascara - the mascara that is tied for first place and I don't know how many I've bought over the years?! Cheap = best in this case! π Dry shampoo from Proffs - really does the job. Smells nothing special, but works great on my colored dark hair. Price range cheap! (Do I need to mention that I love cheap? π€) Conditioner from HairProud - bought here at Lyko but they have unfortunately stopped selling it, along with the skincare called SkinProud. Almost impossible to get in Sweden now. I sincerely hope that Lyko brings in SkinProud again, totally amazing skincare at a good price! ππ» Bobby's heat protection - smells incredibly fresh and salon-like. So nice to be able to use in dry hair. Dispenses like a fine spray, and lays a protective layer on the hair strands. Lovely feeling! Will definitely repurchase in the future! Lip balm from Crazy Rumors - both are already repurchased. Cloudberry smells (and tastes π) sweet, and Gemini I use at night. Smells light and pleasant of, among other things, lavender.
