    Super even color!

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try the Tanning Drops from #bylyko's own brand, and here are my thoughts. The first time I used the product, I noticed that it gave a naturally sun-kissed color, which was very subtle and nice. I applied it to my face, mixed with my face cream, and already after the first application, I saw a nice, fresh tone. The evening after, I applied it again and woke up with a medium brown and even color that really looked natural and pretty. However, I think you have to use quite a bit of product to get a good color. For each application, you probably need about 7-10 drops, which feels quite a lot compared to other products. But it's worth it in relation to the price, and because the color becomes even and not patchy, and it lasts for a few days without disappearing unevenly. Really good value!!! It also feels like the serum itself is very moisturizing? This impresses me the most about the product. I didn't feel that my drier areas absorbed more, which I've experienced with all other tanning drops I've tested, especially when using them 2-3 evenings in a row. The scent is mild and fresh, which I also appreciate, and the product doesn't transfer onto clothes or sheets. I have a neutral skin tone, so I appreciate that the color is just neutral, which means it doesn't give an orange tone. In summary, I think the Tanning Drops are a good product for those who want a natural, even color. I would have liked to see that you didn't have to use so much product each time, but the result is really good and looks like a real tan that lasts a couple of days. Completely unbeatable for the price, and I will buy this again when my current drops run out! In the picture, I used ByLykos mousse on my neck and body and the tanning drops on my face, on the second evening in a row. (Sorry for the wound on my forehead)

    Not quite for me

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try a Tanning Mist from #bylyko's own brand, and here are my thoughts. First and foremost, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't a fine mist like I had expected, but it felt more like a regular spray. I thought it sprayed quite unevenly, so I had to rub it in with a glove to be sure it wouldn't get patchy or uneven. I used it on my face and chest and think it gave an okay color, not dark but a bit sun-kissed. But I really prefer the mousse from Lyko more – it gives a more intense and even tan. The color from the mist isn't as intense, which makes it better suited for those who want a more natural look. I have a light neutral skin tone, so I was pleasantly surprised that the color was neutral instead of warm. It turned out to be a nice, natural shade. Definitely good for everyday use! Another thing that bothered me was that I was afraid of getting the spray in my hair, so I had to wrap a towel around my hair to protect it, especially since I have bleached blonde hair. I don't know if it would have done anything to my hair, but I didn't want to take the chance. The scent was tropical and fresh, which was a big plus, and it didn't stain my sheets, which I really appreciated. But I noticed that if I didn't moisturize properly, the color wouldn't be completely even, especially if I applied it several days in a row. Then it tended to be more intense because I was drier – so it's important to moisturize thoroughly before application. Maybe my spray was defective or just not the best, but if it was as it should be, I still think it's an okay product. It gives a natural result, but I probably wouldn't choose it again, as it doesn't fit my application style and I like the mousse better. The picture shows me the day after I used the spray on my face and blended it out myself. Very natural color!

    Budget find!

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try the #bylyko self-tanning mousse, and here’s what I think. I also applied this product with a velvet BUS glove. First and foremost, I don’t like that the mousse is colorless, as it makes it hard to see where I’ve applied it. I have to be extra careful and tend to apply more layers to be sure, it feels like I’m wasting some product. You also really need to moisturize hands/arms/feet and knees properly beforehand, otherwise the color gets very dark where it absorbs more. One advantage of it being colorless is that it doesn’t stain sheets, which is great. But without color, it’s easy to miss certain spots during application, so you have to be careful. The scent is tropical and quite pleasant, not the classic BUS scent that many other products have. The mousse doesn’t feel wet or sticky long after application, which I appreciate. I have a very neutral skin tone, so I was pleasantly surprised that the color was neutral instead of warm, as I experience with Bondi Sands BUS for example. It turned out a nice, natural shade. I slept with this on, and it actually gives quite a dark color, so it works well if you want a more intense tan. I think it looked nice on me, as I am light-skinned, but maybe a bit too much for someone who is more “fair.” The longevity was good – the color stayed nice for at least three days and faded evenly. However, my skin became quite dry after a few days, which I didn’t really like. I naturally have a slightly oilier skin. In summary, I think St. Tropez mousse is still superior, but I would absolutely consider buying Lyko’s mousse again as a backup option. It’s very affordable and gives a nice color for a good price. But be careful with moisturizing! Picture of me the day after application. In reality, the color looks cooler. On my face, I use the tanning drops from the same series. You can see on my hands that the color has absorbed quite a bit. It looked nicer and not as intense when I used a slightly richer cream underneath!

    LOVE!

As a #lykoinflytester, I got to try Beam Drops from #PLYskin. I love the drops! They give an incredible glow and work fantastically as a primer, both under and over moisturizer depending on how intense of a glow I want. Most of the time, I mix the drops with my moisturizer for a subtle radiance, but if I want extra glow, I apply a thin layer after the cream – the result is a really glowy and even skin under makeup. It’s also nice that it serves two functions as a serum that both hydrates the skin and gives glow. I always shake the bottle before use to get an even consistency. It doesn’t add any color to the skin, but if you use too much, it can look a bit silvery. However, if you have makeup on, you don’t need to worry – the skin just looks fresh and balanced. The drops sink in quickly but keep my dry patches hydrated all day and my oily T-zone in check. Perfect when you want glow without getting too shiny! I’m attaching pictures of my skin with makeup after a 9-hour work shift…! In the pictures, I’ve only mixed the drops into the moisturizer, but I’ve never had such balanced skin, still with glow but not oily, after such a long day. The makeup also stays put like a rock.

    Perfect day cream!

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test the #PLYSkin skin cream and I am really satisfied! It moisturizes my dry skin without leaving a shiny or oily layer, which I really appreciate. Even though it feels light and almost disappears into the skin immediately, I have noticed that my skin stays moisturized and the dry patches are under control all day. The oil stays away, and I don’t have to worry about my skin becoming greasy or shiny. I have also noticed that my pores look much smaller when I use the cream. It also works perfectly as a primer under makeup – gives a smooth and matte surface without drying out. However, I won’t use it when I really need a lot of moisture, but it is absolutely perfect during the day when I have makeup on at work or for a night out in the city. A fantastic moisturizer for me who wants long-lasting hydration without feeling sticky! A big plus is also that it is fragrance-free, hardly any risk of irritation, wow!!! And together with the drops, I get such an incredibly nice glow. Attaching a picture of my skin after a 9-hour shift at work (with makeup)!

    Super!

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test this cleanser from #PLYskin. I am really impressed! It easily removes all makeup, even stubborn mascara, without having to rub. The consistency is lightly creamy and feels luxuriously soft on the skin, which makes the cleansing routine really pleasant. My skin, which is combination, feels fresh and balanced after use – not the least bit tight or dry, but also not oily, which is a big plus for me. I also haven't had any breakouts or irritations, which makes me feel safe using it daily. The exfoliation is very mild in my opinion. But my skin is very tolerant. So 10/10 for it being so effective at removing makeup while keeping my skin hydrated. A really effective and gentle cleanser that delivers!

    Really surprised!

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this dry shampoo from #LYKO! My hair is long, curly (type 2C/3A), with medium thickness strands and last but not least, also bleached. This means that my hair feels very heavy when it gets dirty. I wash my hair every other to every third day because I don't like the feeling of dry shampoo in my hair, as most give a stiff feeling and don't help with the weight of my hair. An example is the well-known dry shampoo from Batiste, which makes my hair stiff and flat. This dry shampoo gave me mixed feelings at first. Very powdery to obviously suit blonde hair, but the dry shampoo for brown hair didn't work at all in my hair with dark roots and balayage in the lengths. But if you spray the dry shampoo evenly over the roots with a sufficient distance and really work the product in, it worked beyond expectations! Sure, it looks a bit powdery, but that's not something you think about. I believe my balayage saves it. But wow, how fresh my hair feels and looks! It's easy to avoid that heavy and crispy feeling, with the right amount, my hair feels light and airy and looks clean! The scent is also floral and fresh, not too heavy at all. I also think my hairstyles last longer with the dry shampoo in. And for the price, I think it's super good, I will buy this going forward before Batiste. The product gets 4 out of 5 stars as it can look a bit powdery in my roots with dark hair, but as I said, neither the color nor the product worked for brunettes for me.

Maybe works for very fine hair

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try the shampoo and conditioner from #lyko’s hydrating series! My hair is long, curly (type 2C/3A), with medium thickness (Mediterranean hair) and last but not least also bleached! So moisture is always welcome in my dry, slightly damaged, and sometimes frizzy hair. Unfortunately, the conditioner did nothing for me. I honestly thought the shampoo was more detangling and softening. This conditioner felt like a watered-down body lotion in my hair, which is a shame because I really liked the shampoo that set high expectations for me. My hair became very tangled and felt super dry both with the product in and even after I rinsed it out. I could only use the product a couple of washes because my hair became so dry that my ends started to break. To compensate, I had to use a lot of product after washing to get my hair somewhat moisturized and manageable. I can imagine that the conditioner might have worked for very fine, Scandinavian, normal to dry hair that needs volume. For my Mediterranean hair, there are much more suitable alternatives. However, I thought the price is good if you are in the right target group, and the scent is super nice. Herbal and fresh and lingers in the hair for a while. This conditioner is therefore not sufficiently moisturizing or detangling for my hair, and I had to stop using it after a couple of washes. Therefore, I can only give the product 1 out of 5 stars. 🧚‍♀️

    Cleansing but also detangling

As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I’ve had the chance to test the shampoo and conditioner from #LYKO’s hydrating series! I’ve been using the shampoo with every wash for about a month now and I must say that I really like it. My hair is long, curly (about 2C/3A), with medium thickness and last but not least, also bleached! So moisture is always welcome in my dry, slightly damaged, and sometimes frizzy hair. The first thing I like is the scent - a bit herbal and super fresh. I also like that it lingers a bit in the hair after washing, but I wish it lasted longer. I think the shampoo lathers well on the first wash but even better when I go in a second time (which I always do). The lather spreads easily along the scalp and lengths but doesn’t leave the hair dry at all. It’s actually very detangling and softening, which I’m quite surprised about. But despite this, the hair still feels light, airy, and very clean when it dries. The hair doesn’t get that super dry feeling that other cheaper shampoos often give, which I was afraid of since it contains sulfates. But I honestly found this shampoo to be more detangling than the conditioner in the same series! A dollop the size of a nickel is about what I use per application, so the bottle lasts quite a while. I would say the price is very good for how the product worked for me. I could buy this again if I ran into issues with my regular shampoo! I give the product 4 out of 5 stars for performing above my expectations! But I wish it were sulfate-free to be more color-preserving. 🧧

    Volume and Length! ✨

As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to test this mascara from #SISLEY! First impression is a luxurious and heavy gold-colored packaging. The mascara brush is gigantic and twisted. My favorite brush since it goes so quickly to comb through the lashes completely, win! The formula is very creamy and absolutely not runny, which I really prefer. The brush separates really well, and according to Sisley, you shouldn't do a zig-zag pattern when applying - which I never do either, so it suited me perfectly. The result then? Full, long lashes with lots of volume and separation. Wow, what a mascara! One coat gave a pretty okay result, but a second coat was really the icing on the cake. I've never had such a good application as with Sisley's mascara. 🥰 However, it's not for people with sensitive eyes who tend to "tear" or anyone with oily eyelids. The slightest wind in my eyes makes them moist, which didn't go well with this mascara. Unfortunately, it was way too sensitive to moisture, and I had to remove mascara that had smudged around my eye several times during the day. However, the longevity on the lashes is really good, but it's far from smudge-proof. Sisley doesn't claim that it should be, but a mascara at this price shouldn't smudge so easily once it's dried. However, it's extraordinarily easy to remove! It almost only needs water, to be honest. I'm attaching a before and after picture with two coats of mascara, really love the result. I think the product and the result remind me of the Better Than Sex mascara from Too Faced (a favorite), but Sisley's formula is creamier and easier to apply. However, Too Faced's product is very smudge-proof without being a waterproof mascara, which I think Sisley falls flat on. I give 4 out of 5 points for a fantastically excellent product that gave incredibly beautiful lashes with lots of length and volume. But I really wish it were more smudge-proof. 😍
