    ❄️ #empties2026 January❄️

#empties2026 - the year's first round of beauty junk🧴🧼🛍️ Just like in December, it was quite a lot😁 Among FAVORITES, you will find what I have bought again or am thinking of buying again. A lot I have mentioned over the years since the lovely Malin Malinadenfina started #empties here on Lyko Social so that we beauty hoarders could try to use up what we have before we buy new, so I won't list everything, but all the favorites are in the picture☺️ 👌 FAVORITES👌 👌 Kocostar Bakuchiol sheet mask softens dry, tired skin so nicely. 👌 Sungboon Edition Green Tomato pore lifting ampoule mask I don't even remember buying😄, but it was good. 👌 Patchology Serve chillid on ice Firming eye gels didn't tighten the skin as promised, but are still very nice, sit really well, reduce puffiness - and cost accordingly💸🤥😀 👌 Apotek Hjärtats eye wash is such a nice eye water to use, for example, after eyelash tinting or when there is a lot of pollen👁️👁️ (it's simply distilled water). 👌 Apolosophy active+ has such a good serum, for example this: Peptide serum, which is really a favorite! 👌 Anita Grant Camellia kissi oil - there went my absolute last bottle of the world's best organic camellia oil🥹 👌 Christophe Robin Cleansing volumising paste deeply cleans my oily whirl in an extremely effective way👏 👌 Glow Hub Nourish & hydrate serum-mist - completely wonderful peach-scented🍑 facial water that therefore seems to have been discontinued👎 👎 Klairs Midnight blue calming cream - the blue night cream I gave to my husband but sometimes swiped for the t-zone😄 👌 Eco Cosmetics lip balm - best cerate ever! 🤔 OK - BUT MAYBE NOT BUYING AGAIN 🤔 🤔 Purederm exfoliating foot mask has been so good when I can't afford a foot treatment 🦶🦶 at the salon, but either I remember wrong or they have changed the masks... they are open at the top, so you lie down while they work, and everything runs out🤥👎 Even though they are effective, it is also boring to sit with them for at least an hour😅 🤔 Dermosil micellar water is unfragranced, but there are even more moisturizing variants from other brands. 🤔 Purito Unscented centella toner is nice, but something in it always gives me micro-bumps after a while, so I don't dare to have it on my face. Got it in a box. 🤔 Astrid Hydro X-cell Hydrating eye gels I really need to stop buying because they do no good (but are cute and sit well). 🤔 Dermalogica Dynamic skin recovery came in a box but made no impression. 🤔 Tatcha The dewy skin cream was just as hyped and unimpressive as I suspected. There are many better creams for a lower price🤑 Got it as a sample with the purchase of something else. 🧴SAMPLES🧴 🧴 TEMPTING TO BUY: Klairs Maple Energy infusing serum. I might just need to finish about 6 other serums first🙄 Serums are what I, as a beauty hoarder, find it hardest to resist😁 🧴 Klairs Freshly juiced vitamin charging serum - same there. 🧴 NOT TEMPTING TO BUY: Dermalogica Biolumin c eye serum - was oily and I don't like oil around my eyes during the day. ⛔NO⛔ ⛔ Enomeys horrible cream that effectively destroys the skin barrier in a very short time👎 Got used as foot cream🦶😅 ⛔ Sans Soucis Moist depot - the oil serum that stinks half a day after application and effectively gives tension headaches and sometimes as a bonus, migraines👎 ⛔ Essence Hydrogel eye patches were the cutest in the world in the shape of clouds☁️ but refused to stay on and fell into my breakfast🤬👎 ⛔ The Inkeylist Retinol Eye Cream was really a miss for me, as it itched and dried out the skin around my eyes every time. I’d rather have wrinkles than expose myself to such👎 Half the tube got used as hand cream😁 Now let's see which leftovers I manage to empty in February🧴🧴☺️ There are many in line (unfortunately), but that's how it goes when you, as a beauty hoarder, buy a lot of new stuff, boxes, etc. I use up exactly everything, even if sometimes in a completely different way than intended, but the main thing is that nothing gets thrown away before it's empty 🛍️ #empties2026

Linda Thank you, sweetie🙏 Yes, it takes a while to get everything sorted, but it works a bit as a deterrent like a punishment for buying so much🙄 Just think how nice it is during the months when there are fewer clutter items behind the door😀 Now that doesn't happen so often, but I live in hope of a personality change😉 and I don't buy so many boxes anymore, so maybe it's starting??? But yesterday I counted my lipsticks 💄 and other stuff for the lips🧐 and was horrified 😱 There were VERY many🤥🙄 Yes, we are innovative with our buying systems - I put empty samples of things I want to buy in bags under my underwear👙😁 Hugs🥰

    Almost perfect☺️

With my born blue-black, beautiful (?) rings under the eyes, there is a CERTAIN need for concealer when you don't want to hear "You look so tired"🙄 so I have tested many💸💸💸😄 Since I like to buy organic and avoid silicone, RMS Beauty is a well-known brand for me👍 This is supposed to have skin-caring ingredients and improve the skin over a month. Now I use it max 3-4 times/week, so I can't comment on that specifically, but that it has medium coverage and doesn't settle into fine lines is true👍👏 I am extremely fair, with so-called porcelain skin (= thin, white, translucent skin) with a very cool undertone. Under my eyes, the skin is dry and there are now fine lines as a bonus to the rings🤥 so it's not super easy for me to find a silicone-free variant in the concealer jungle🤔 Before the purchase, I had samples from the 5 different lightest shades that I so to speak test-drove😀 The very lightest is perfect for the face overall but was a liiittle too light just for the area under the eyes. There is quite a small difference between the lightest = easy to find the best, but no disaster if you take the wrong one. I bought the two next lightest with cool undertone, have only opened C02 - the other I will use in summer when I am aaaaningens less pale😄 ➕Available in many different shades with three different undertones: warm, cool, and neutral. ➕There are many very light shades. ➕Very economical. ➕Unfragranced and odorless. ➕Nice ingredients. ➕Cruelty free🐇🐀🐕🐒 ➕Made in Italy. ➖The price. ➖I just needed a little more pink in the shade to cover the blue-black better. The concealer is also vegan☘️ Lasts 1 year which is long for being organic = no classic preservatives. Let's see if that holds true! Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 #lykoreview

    Very strongly scented🤥

I got this as a luxury sample in Dec (not from Lyko) and have since struggled to use it. The 3 ml just ran out, hooray🎉😄 The biggest reason it lasted forever is the strong perfume added by Sans Soucis - it's the kind of scent that gives me tension headaches and sometimes as a bonus, migraines😉👎 and even though I get Botox at the hospital for it, I have a much harder time getting it now. This oil has managed several times🤥😄👎 The product is a two-phase thing that needs to be shaken before use so that the parts mix. The ingredients are nice with almond oil, vitamin E, panthenol, and hyaluronic acid 💦 They are supposed to provide a lot of moisture for dry skin, so I (tried) to use it in the T-zone, which is less dry than the rest. It absorbed okay, and I didn't put any extra cream on top because that would have been too much. It felt nice and just the right amount of oily. The horrible smell didn't bother me during the day, but at night I could smell it all the time before I fell asleep or if I woke up 👎 Sure, it's individual what one likes, and I've seen a review where someone praised the "mild scent". Allow me to protest😬 It would have received a higher rating if it weren't for the perfume. When will companies realize that they are losing customers because of this obsession with scented skincare products, scented makeup, etc??? Sans Soucis is otherwise one of my favorite brands, but they really need to tone down the perfume🙄 You don't choose whether you can tolerate a scent - some can tolerate a lot, others not. I am now returning to my reliable winter favorites Loelles argan oil and Klairs Vitamin E mask☺️ Gives 3 slightly tired stars. ⭐⭐⭐ #lykoreview

👁️Super nice and gentle eye cream👁️

With my dry, thin skin around the eyes👀 that not only swells easily after a few years due to illness, allergies, etc., the right eye cream is so important😊. I am also sensitive to things like perfume, react to too heavy or active eye creams, and I prefer not to have silicone there either (doesn't do any good in the long run), so I am picky when it comes to eye creams and have tried MANY💸💸💸. Unscented, quite firm in consistency but still absorbs very easily into the skin. Leaves no greasy film. The skin looks nice and natural, but for the swelling I need an eye serum! It combines well with that - I have tested two different ones under Benton's and both worked equally well with it! Benton is overall a very reliable South Korean brand, I think, and I love their sheet mask in the same galactomyces series as this cream☺️. When I once reviewed the mask, I tried to explain what the ingredients do for the skin. It was so complicated that I have forgotten it🙄 and won't do it again😉. The eye cream contains, besides galactomyces, also various peptides, macadamia oil, hyaluronic acid💦, aloe vera🌿, and marshmallow, all very nice ingredients that counteract skin aging - and that's good, because aging around the eyes happens quickly👎🤥😁. I give it 4 shining stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 #lykoreview

    Country of Manufacture?

Where is this made: the UK or China?

Thanks Natalie 🙏 They make some makeup in the UK, but it's a shame there isn't more. I belong to those who don't consciously buy anything made in China.

    #projectpan 2026 - the makeup that never runs out💄😄

This year I have chosen roughly the same products as last year because I really want to use them up! I have removed some that I don't want to work on right now and added a couple of new ones😊 I will probably be doing makeup about 2 times/week now - I rarely have the energy to do it more often due to the physical illness I have that causes, among other things, weak muscles - except for the lips, which are painted every day💄😊 +😍 Of course also powder on top of foundation, which I only have on my neck and décolleté every day, mostly because I want to avoid seeing the pigment spots (and want to use up the powder)😁 In the first picture, the crossed-out products are finally finished! 💄 The oldest products here are both from the German eco-brand Nui Cosmetics: a cream blush in a muted but very pigmented medium pink shade "Pititi" and a 💄discreet highlighter that gives a natural result in the shade "Hukarere". It is actually a cream eyeshadow that doesn't show up on my light skin, so I transformed it into a highlighter✨ 💄Benecos Natural eyeliner in "Grey" is something incredibly long-lasting🤑 but not waterproof, so it doesn't get used every time, but always together with 💄Isadora Perfect contour kajal waterproof #39 "Deep Grey". This one, however, is extremely waterproof, dark gray, and the only eye product I will miss! I had about 5 from the beginning, this is the last one (it is no longer made in this version). 💄Hourglass Voyeur waterproof gel eyeliner in neutral dark brown "Cave" is super nice and waterproof. Brown is NOT my color, so I have probably used it a maximum of 5 times in 2025🙄😅 Luxurious brand and nice product, so I don't want to throw it away (I won it a few years ago) stingy as I am in the middle of wasting🤑💸💸💸😉 💄Hynt Beauty Finale finishing powder in "Translucent Pearl" is organic, silky, and very good. It never runs out because it 1) is a huge jar and 2) I mostly have powder on the eye area to set everything. Now I have just started using it on top of foundation on my neck and décolleté (to avoid stains on my clothes). Let's see if it can speed it up a bit☺️ 💄100% Pure Fruit pigmented lip glaze in "Rose petal" is a super pretty, glossy lipstick from the American luxury brand 100% pure in a lovely cool dark rose shade🌹 I feel like I have so much makeup when I look through everything🙄, but it's so nice to get rid of some of the oldest products every year, preferably before they go bad🤥😄 I'm probably working on about 20 more things besides these in the picture, but I don't want to tempt fate and take too much with me, because then I immediately lose the desire to use them🤪 THANK YOU Malin, Malinadenfina, who started #empties and #projectpan here at Lyko a few years ago and continues to inspire us beauty hoarders to work with what we have and not always (but too often😉) buy new💜 #projectpan

    Stings and burns like🔥

Won this a couple of years ago (not from Lyko) and just broke up with it for hands and arms😆 for face, neck, and décolletage it could NOT be used👎 Wanted it for starting pigment spots, which it was supposed to be excellent against as the anti-aging night cream it is marketed as. What a letdown! Tried to slowly get used to it, but it burned and stung like crazy🔥 Down on my neck, it gave me red, itchy rashes in the first week = eczema🤬 Of course, I stopped using it right there, but my skin never got used to it🤥 The eczema came back time and time again - couldn't use an exfoliating product in that spot for a WHOLE YEAR! When I started using the cream, I was 54 years old with dry, thin skin in pretty good shape, but the cream made my skin so much worse - ruined the skin barrier in a flash👎 Skillful😅 It gets a pathetic (fallen) star because you can't give zero, unfortunately. ⭐ #lykorewiew
