Of all the products in this series, the cream is a winner! Like the other products in the series, I have used it morning and night and I find my skin more plumped and more hydrated 🫶🏼 The cream is quite thick in consistency but absorbs quickly into the skin and is perfect under makeup ✨ This one also contains peptides that my dry skin responds well to, so I really don’t have much to complain about. So why don’t I give it full marks, you might wonder? Well, the cream promises, like the other products, too much 😅 The cream is supposed to give a more defined facial contour? In my world, there is no cream that can give a more defined facial contour? Such claims don’t sit well with me and that’s why it loses a star 🌟 The frosted purple-red glass screams luxury and I really love the content but I don’t see a big change in my skin (i.e. fine lines and red areas remain). Super serum?
I have tried a pro-collagen series from #filorga, and right now I wish you could give half stars when reviewing 🤭 my rating simply lands at 3.5 but I give three instead of four and you will understand why! What I love about the serum 👇🏼 🌸 The texture is really perfect, I love that the serum is sticky but not too thick and lays so nicely on the skin. 🌸 The serum really suits my skin which is dry, has red areas, a bit dull, has fine lines and dryness lines 🌸 The pump function and the design with frosted glass is incredible! So why not five stars? It promises too much in too short a time: it contains tightening polymer that helps the skin get a tightening and smoother appearance after the FIRST application? That’s not true and therefore it immediately loses stars from me. There are simply no quick fixes in skincare that give results that fast (that should be a PTR primer that works temporarily) I have loved the serum as a whole and as I said, the frosted glass bottle is really luxurious and adds a feeling of quality ❤️ the serum is easy to dose with its pump. My dry skin also responds very well to the peptides that the serum contains 😘 The serum makes the skin velvety soft and glowing so that’s many pluses from me 👌🏼 I want to be clear that the content is good, it’s just the product description I struggle with 🫶🏼 So is it a super serum? Promises a lot 🫣
I have tried the new line from #filorga, and one of the products is this eye serum that comes in the absolute prettiest color of the fall! The serum is supposed to be firming and contains peptides that support the skin’s collagen production 💦💎. It’s also said to reduce bags and dark circles under the eyes and provide a visible lifting effect. Not only that, it’s said that the serum can give an immediate visible effect, and that’s a problem for me because it doesn’t give a visible effect right away, more than just adding moisture which gives glow, but I can get that effect with any eye cream. I do like the applicator though, it feels cooling with its little ball and is really pleasant in the morning 💦. However, it’s incredibly hard to dose the serum! Either too much comes out or nothing at all 👀🫶🏼, so you have to learn how to do it 😂. I think the serum itself is really good, it moisturizes, feels light on the skin, and gives a nice glow, my tired eyes simply look more awake after application 🌸. I like Filorga’s products in general but, as I said, I have a hard time when companies promise a lot, like direct results for example. The serum gets three nice stars from me, it does the job for me but there are things that can be improved: the dosing is hard to get right. I have high expectations for Filorga and maybe I’m extra tough because of that. As I wrote: the serum itself is really nice 🌸💕, but I expect more. The packaging of this series is beautiful and luxurious, and I especially liked the texture of this product. The cream is rich, and I have enjoyed using it especially in the evenings. I have also tried it under makeup, and in my opinion, it worked quite well with foundation for such a thick cream. Of course, it probably also depends a lot on which foundation you use. The only possible downside to this product is that it feels slightly warm on the skin, and I can't say whether that's because the product is effective or because it's too strong for my skin. Jar without spatula
To start with the positive, I have to say that the jar is incredibly beautiful, I love both the color and the frosted glass. But a big disappointment for me was that no spatula was included. Digging into the jar with fingers is not hygienic. My skin also became prickly and warm, though I don't know if it was from the serum or the cream. I think I got a nice radiance and a lovely glow, albeit a bit sticky. Overall, there are better alternatives. Cooling ball
This eye serum has an applicator that is like a small ball, it really gives a cooling effect but also a nice massage. I found it difficult to dose the serum and it was easy for either nothing to come out at all – or too much to come out. Definitely a nice morning routine, but whether it gives any visible effect at first glance I wouldn’t directly claim. First of all, the packaging is absolutely lovely, luxurious, and the dispenser is stylish compared to a regular press pipette. It’s nice to have it on display because of the beautiful design. I have now tried the product for a few days, and especially in my evening routine, I have enjoyed the richness of the products. I have long used fragrance-free products because my skin is sensitive. With the serum, I wondered if the fragrance or maybe some acid might cause a slight warming sensation on the skin. However, the scent is good! But because of the slight warmth, I use the product very sparingly at a time. Innovative product
First of all, the product is incredibly innovative and truly beautiful to the eye. It comes in a luxurious packaging and in a very nice color. I think it feels good on the skin, melts in very nicely but leaves a slightly sticky feeling. Shortly after, the skin becomes both red and warm, it almost stings. I find it hard to interpret whether it’s because the product is working – in that case, the rating goes up! Or if it’s simply ingredients in it that my skin doesn’t like, but I’m usually not sensitive. Affordable cleansing balm
I think Elf's cleansing balm is perfect if you want to try "the thing" with balms. I only use it when I'm going straight into the shower and can do a round with cleansing mousse (Filorga skin prep) afterwards (I have too small a sink to mess around with water tricks there 😅) It's soft, feels gentle, and dissolves makeup residue in a snap! Rosé Gold Hair
Or maybe rosé silver 😌 because the shade is quite cool. But pink shade anyway. I have continued to mix a little differently depending on where in the hair it should be applied. The underhair is quite dark blonde, so there I have more of the pink. In the overhair, I have more of beige blonde, and closest to the face, I have even more mixing. This time I tried to mix it with shampoo because I’ve heard it can be easier to distribute evenly that way. Yes, it was actually a bit easier to distribute (even though it feels wrong to mix shampoo and treatment 😅) I added a little bit of cacao intense this time so it wouldn’t become too red-pink. Cacao intense is very cool, so it gives that effect. I’m satisfied! Maybe it became a little too little pink in the front, but I enjoy being able to vary how much pink I want/don’t want to show, and it’s still more pink than if I hadn’t put anything in. Side by side: Ereborian Cc and Lumene Cc
Quick test and display of these two in the shades Doré (Ereborian) and Medium (Lumene). Ereborian's Doré is a bit too warm for me right now, but it is definitely a nice CC cream! Perfect for summer! It has a little less glow than Lumene, which is totally okay with me. I prefer a little less glow and skip powder, especially in the summer. Ereborian is a bit more economical than Lumene, but Lumene is a bit more covering, so for the same coverage level, it comes out even. Forgotten Product and Mascara Test
When I suggested hair masks to a friend yesterday, she asked if I had tried Olaplex. Of course, I have, but I also completely forgot that I tested (and that I even bought) Olaplex curl gel! Today I'm testing it along with Umberto Giannini's mousse (mousse first, then gel). The instructions say to use it as the only product, but I'm skeptical, so I'm trying it this way first. In the pictures, the hair is 80%(-ish) dry and without scrunching the curls, but they never became stiff, so it looks pretty much the same as 💯 dry, just lighter. The first impression is good. It promises frizz-free curls for 72 hours. I think, maybe not on that, but we'll see tomorrow how it looks on day 2! I'm testing to compare BBIA's two black mascaras (the blue fiber mascara and the red one without fibers), and on the left in the picture, I have three layers of the red one, and on the right, I have the blue. Minimal difference, possibly a little more volume on the red.
