Super nice primer with glow!
As a Lyko influencer tester, I got to try 3 products from the brand estelle&thild organic beauty, and this Morning Glow Radiant Primer was one of the products! A bit about my skin: Mature, normal/combination, large pores, occasional crowโs feet fine lines. And I often find it super hard to find the โrightโ products! And I can start by saying! I really fell in love with this primer during the test period! The packaging is simple like the other products, sleek and nice! Practical with the long tube tip and easy to dose the somewhat liquid formula! An incredibly nice primer that delivers as described! The primer melts nicely into the skin and gives an even radiant beautiful glow while moisturizing and evening out for a base before foundation, makeup, or alternative product! I have mostly used the primer as it is, think it looks really nice and itโs so light on the skin, melts in, no stickiness! For a festive or everyday look, a truly fantastic primer that gives a really beautiful radiant glow! The primer keeps the makeup in place and has a light fresh scent! Unfortunately not for me
Now it was time for a new mission โ and this time itโs three products, brand new from Estelle & Thild. Who doesnโt love a new release? ๐ First up among the reviews is this primer. I actually use primer quite rarely. Sometimes, when I use a more matte foundation or when my skin needs a little extra glow (the days I donโt wear foundation at all), I might reach for one of my glowy primers. However, I very rarely use primer to make makeup last longer or better, which is actually a primerโs main task. Since this primer promises glow, it should, on paper, be just right for me. But unfortunatelyโฆ no ๐โโ๏ธ Why? ๐ The scent โ First and foremost, I canโt handle the smell. Itโs that typical โorganicโ scent that to my nose reminds me ofโฆ silage. And unfortunately, it doesnโt go away. ๐ The glitter particles โ There are clear glitter particles in the product that become very prominent in sunlight. For me, itโs a bit too much. ๐ Primer or highlighter? โ I actually feel it works more as a highlighter than as a primer. ๐ It brightens the skin โ On my sun-kissed skin, the result is almost like it puts a lighter shimmer on top of the skin, and thatโs not really what I want from a primer. ๐ It dries down in no time and is impossible to get even. You canโt see in the picture how badly it matches me, it actually looks quite good. Unfortunately, that doesnโt quite match reality as I look more like the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz. Maybe it suits very fair skin? However, I have tried mixing a drop into my foundation and then it works really well! Blends in well
This one was really nice. It blends well into the skin and gives a fantastic beautiful glow without feeling heavy or sitting as a layer on top of the skin. This primer has quickly become a favorite in my makeup routine. It gives the skin an incredibly beautiful glow without feeling heavy or greasy. I find that my skin looks more refreshed and hydrated right after application, and it also helps the base makeup apply more evenly and stay looking nice throughout the day. I like that the glow looks natural and gives a fresh radiance instead of just looking glittery. a bit too runny
Estelle & Thild Morning Glow Radiant Primer really gives a beautiful and natural glow that makes the skin look fresh and hydrated under foundation. The only downside is that the texture is very thin and runny, so you have to be a bit careful when dosing so you donโt get too much at once. An affordable primer
I have now tested this primer a few times and here is my honest opinion. I find the packaging a bit boring and not very inviting. But the primer itself smelled so good and gave my skin such a nice glow! I really liked how it melted into the skin and left my skin so nice. The makeup also applied very nicely on top. I give Estelle&Thild Organic Beauty Morning Glow Radiant Primer 4 out of 5 stars. It is a very nice primer that gives the skin a fresh, hydrated, and natural glow without the result feeling too glittery or overdone. What I appreciate most is how well the primer prepares the skin for makeup. It feels light and pleasant when applied, and the skin immediately looks more awake and hydrated. Foundation sits nicely on top, and the final result is soft and natural. I especially like products that give radiance without making the skin look oily, and this primer achieves that balance well. I like that it gives a lovely glow and is easy to apply. I do NOT like the scent, almost unpleasant! Nor the texture, itโs almost like water. GLOW โจ๏ธ but doesnโt quite deliver as promised
Time for a new test as #lykoinflutester ๐ค Iโve only managed to test it once since Iโve been sick and looked roughly like Gollum for four days BUT: This primer really gives a glow, I first tested it on my hand where I felt it was a bit lightly white-shimmery but it settled really nicely on the face and under makeup. However, Iโm only giving it 3 stars because it promises to even out skin tone and texture โ which it doesnโt, as you can see in my video. For reference: I have rosacea and uneven skin texture. โจ๏ธ It caused no irritation or breakouts on my sensitive skin. Absolutely fantastic glow!
As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this product from #estellethildโจ Right from the first use, I fell in love with this glowing primer, and the more Iโve used it, the more I like it! ๐ It really gives an absolutely fantastic glow that stays beautiful all day, from start to finish. I also think it works incredibly well as a primer โ makeup sits nicely on top and stays in place all day. The texture also feels pleasant and the product absorbs quickly into the skin. I also like how the packaging is designed; the applicator head seems to be made in a way that prevents the product from leaking out. In summary, this has become a real favorite during the testing period. Fantastic glow, works great as a primer, and also keeps makeup looking nice all day. Maybe my new favorite
I've gotten to try this primer from #estellethild for a few weeks now as #lykoinflutester, and Iโll need to test it a bit longer to decide if itโs a 5-star or not. (Will update later!) โ It absorbs nicely and quickly, I rubbed the product into my fingertips and then applied it to my face. It actually felt a bit like a serum. โ A little goes a long way! โ It doesnโt roll or flake off my skincare underneath and keeps my makeup lasting all day. โ It gives an incredible glow!! โ If you use too much, it can be a bit TOO much glow, like it has a metallic vibe? But thatโs both good and bad because it really creates a blur effect! In the picture, Iโm only wearing the primer so you can see how it looks on its own. โ It smells kind of like mosquito repellent ๐ I honestly donโt understand why they chose to perfume it. That could have been skipped. โ A few pimples showed up after a few weeks of daily use. I usually donโt get pimples and couldnโt find any other culprit than this, but it could also be hormonal. Soooo, Iโm going to pause using it for a while and then try again and will update on whether it actually was this primer that caused the pimples or not. Because I really like this primer and really want it to work!! Itโs actually nice just as it is, without any foundation or CC cream. A good glow booster
I have tested this luminous primer for a while and really like the concept. It gives a very nice glow, and the skin looks fresh and radiant almost immediately. โจ The glow appears quickly, and the product is very economical to use, so a little goes a long way, but at the same time, thatโs also where the challenge lies for me. If I use as much primer as I normally would over the entire face, I find that the product sits a bit on top of the skin instead of melting in. Because you need so little product, I almost feel it works better as a glow booster on selected areas rather than a traditional primer all over the face. I think this is a product that requires some trial and error to get the most out of it. I still havenโt cracked the code, but I definitely think it has potential once you learn how it works best.
