I've been trying Kissplosion for a while now, and the best thing about it, I'd say, is that it's insanely easy to apply! This surprised me since the pencil is quite thick. The color is really nice, and it also works well as a blush. Just swipe it on your cheek and blend out with your fingers, it melts in nicely because the formula is so soft. It also works well as a lipstick, like I have in the picture. Nice color - lots of gloss!
I've tried Pink Wink, and I think it gives neither too much nor too little color! Just right for everyday use. However, it is very creamy and soft. I get the feeling it would melt in the bag on a hot day. I think it gives a bit of plump, it definitely feels cooling. But it's easy to apply too much product since it's so soft, and then it gets super glossy! Great addition to the makeup bag!
In the picture, I did a makeup look using only Honey Drizzle, and even though it works fine on its own, I missed a slightly lighter brown shade as a base before the shimmer. The brown was very pigmented, while the shimmer wasn’t as pigmented. I also like when palettes have matte light shades that you can use under the eyes, but as a complement to the shadows I already use, this works super well and I like that it takes up a little space in the makeup bag. It’s a warm and nice palette with many uses. The matte brown shade was perfect for filling in the eyebrows, and the lightest shimmer worked well as a highlighter, though maybe best as an emergency solution since there are better options for that purpose. Moisture bomb! 💦
Some days I just want to drown myself in moisturizing products, and this one is a given as the last step whether morning or evening. If I use it during the day, I usually wait a bit before applying SPF so it has time to settle. I'm on my second bottle now and can say for sure that I'll be buying more. Cozy, but maybe not Valentino’s best?
I’ve been #lykotestpilot for #valentino Purple Melancholia for a few weeks now! My all-time favorite perfume is otherwise Valentino’s Green Stravaganza, I’m very fond of jasmine. So it was really fun to try a new Valentino! And let’s put it this way. If Green Stravaganza is the perfect everyday perfume, then Purple Melancholia is the perfect weekend perfume! This one feels more feminine and floral, the vanilla stands out and gives that cozy feeling. With Green Stravaganza, many sprays were needed, but with this one 1-2 sprays are enough. And I find that this one lasts longer. I really like the perfume, but I don’t think it tops Green Stravaganza after all. But sometimes you want a change, especially on days when something special happens. Then I will choose this bottle first. My husband’s rating: “It’s good but a bit heavy. A bit musky. It smells nice, but it’s not the best you’ve had. Perfect for the Baby Shower
I have received this kit from #estelleandthild as #lykoinflutester #bylyko, and here comes my honest review! The kit feels perfect to give as a gift to an expecting or new parent! The toiletry bag is super nice and the perfect size! It will have many uses, for example for baby swimming! The blankets are very soft and the hairbrush is super gentle! The baby wash feels very mild and pleasant, and the baby oil has been used both for the pregnant belly and my children after showering. I find it fragrance-free and moisturizing, and even though I can agree that a different lid would have been more convenient, I actually think the lid is very practical and spill-proof if you are on the go, for example at the swimming pool, and want to be sure that all the packing doesn’t get oiled. Instead of toning at the hairdresser!
It has now been 6 weeks since I put a bottle of Portobello 7.0 in my hair, and in the video you can see before and after as well as how it has gradually washed out. NOTE! Please read the entire review as I also did a color bomb beforehand to achieve this result! I got the tip from someone in the Lyko store to put in a warm color bomb beforehand, to avoid the risk of the hair turning green. Said and done, I had an orange color bomb that I washed out and then a bottle of Portobello in damp hair. I bought two packs, but managed to get by with just one, so it felt unnecessary to open the other. I wanted to tone my hair to make the regrowth blend in better, as I want to get a bit closer to my natural hair. The result turned out a bit warmer than I had thought, probably because my color bomb gave quite a bit of warm pigments! So I have actually used silver shampoo on 3 occasions to get back some cooler tones. 👍 • I think it’s very easy to apply! • Doesn’t smell strong at all. • Makes the hair both softer and shinier! • Intense color at first, but it continues to look nice as it gradually washes out with each wash. 👎 • I wash my hair every other to every third day, and I wish the color lasted longer. But I have used both a bit of silver shampoo and deep cleansing shampoo sometimes, so that has probably affected it. I like these toners. They last longer than a color bomb. I’m just not entirely sure that this one was the right shade for me, next time I’ll probably mix this with a cooler toner. #lykoreview1 product in post Instead of toning at the hairdresser!2884 views
