Moisturizes, cleanses, and cares (without SLS)
Yay! A new product from my favorite brand! 🎉 This is a mild intimate wash without SLS and fragrance (both of which can dry out, cause itching, and disturb the pH balance). The consistency is wonderfully creamy, without becoming too wrong or sticky, and it is pleasant to apply. After washing, I feel moisturized and "calm" in my skin and mucous membranes. Some intimate washes leave a slightly tight feeling that is not nice at all, but not this one. I think it’s a super good alternative for those who don’t want to use intimate oil but still want a gentle and caring product. I think it can be difficult with intimate shaving. Either they have too many irritating ingredients and perfume in them, or they are not effective and the skin gets damaged while shaving 🪒 This gel has a perfect consistency. It’s not too thick, not too sticky, and not too runny. It applies well both on top and in the actual hair without becoming too “slippery” (which can cause the razor to just glide over the hair and not catch it). I think it manages to give a close shave without irritating the skin, and I don’t get red spots or ingrown hairs. The scent isn’t quite perfect, but I’m still glad it’s not a synthetic scent (big no no on the vulva) and that it’s there thanks to the natural tea tree oil that does wonders for the skin. Moisturizing 💦
Water goes a long way meeeeen, let’s face it: men, discharge, dirt, and sweat can require a little extra to get rid of. I like this cleansing oil even though I never use anything that smells on my 😺. But since the scent is natural and Cosmos-approved (requirements for the ingredients to be natural, etc.), I feel that this is okay. The scent shouldn’t wash away our natural scent though... and this lingers on the skin for a while which doesn’t really feel right for me (even though the scent is lovely, lightly citrusy). It leaves me moisturized and clean in a lovely way and contains a bunch of juicy things like jojoba oil, hemp seed oil, and sea buckthorn extract - three ingredients that are like balm for the vulva soul. It also contains prebiotics which seem to be pH balancing. The cleansing oil sinks easily into the skin, is easy to rinse off, and isn’t too sticky. It leaves a thin film that kind of stays on the skin and mucous membranes to continue moisturizing even after the shower. Not a sticky film though, but more of a silky feel. I would have liked to see a pump on this since it’s a bit hard to handle with wet and sticky hands in the shower 🧴 But HOW pretty and stylish is it? And in glass - like it a little extra! 😍 It would have gotten 4 stars if it were fragrance-free. PS! Don’t forget that it’s only the vulva, so outside, that should be cleaned.
