A useful kit!
I think this kit is great, all the products included are very useful! The brush is very soft, which makes it okay to brush the hair on both small and older children. You don’t have to worry about it hurting or being uncomfortable for the child. Both the toiletry bag and the baby blanket are great, there’s nothing to complain about there either. The oil felt very pleasant when applied and had a consistency that made it easy to work into the skin. The product absorbs quickly, which makes it easier to use and reduces the risk of leaving an oily residue. Unlike many other oils, the skin didn’t feel sticky or greasy afterwards. The product works well both for a pregnant belly and for use on small children! The shower cream’s packaging is smartly designed with a narrow opening, making it easy to dose the right amount of product. This reduces the risk of overdosing, which often causes products to run out unnecessarily fast. Despite the smaller opening, it was easy to get just the right amount of cream out. As a mother of 3 children, I say this is an absolutely perfect set for your own baby or to buy as a gift. The set comes in a stylish pouch that can also hold other items like diapers, wet wipes, so it’s really practical to keep in the diaper bag or on the changing table. The muslin cloths are made of wonderfully soft material but are absorbent. They are suitable as burp cloths, for drying skin, stroller or sleep cloths, and you need these constantly during the baby year. The brush is softer than any brush I have ever tried. Absolutely lovely! Very sturdy and high quality. Doesn’t irritate the skin at all when brushing. This has become my favorite! The oil absorbs well and takes good care of our 7-month-old baby’s sensitive skin. Lovely addition for bath time, baby massage, daily skin moisturizing, or removing cradle cap. Baby Body Wash has been great for daily diaper area washes and hasn’t irritated the skin. It would be a plus if the dosing cap could be made more practical and easier, for example in a pump bottle form, but dosing works fine as is. Really a great set! We have tested the Estelle & Thild Gentle Care Baby Kit and are generally very satisfied! My 3-month-old son has had some dandruff on his scalp, and he also has some eczema spots that easily get irritated. The soap: nothing to complain about here, it’s fragrance-free so it smells like typical fragrance-free soap. It lathers nicely and removes dirt and grime. It effectively removes the “oily” layer you can get from baby oil without leaving the skin dry. The oil: I also think this is great. The only downside for me is the screw cap on the baby oil. When you’re standing there with a wriggling baby and oily fingers, a pump or flip cap would be much easier. Muslin cloths: as a mom to a spit-up baby, I can never have enough muslin cloths. These are a good size, nice color, and soft on the baby’s skin. 🥰 The absolute highlight is the brush! It’s incredibly soft and nice, and it has been perfect for gently brushing away dandruff without irritating his sensitive skin. It’s almost like a little spa feeling for the little one! 🧖♂️ All these lovely products fit nicely in the spacious toiletry bag. Super cute kit for the little one
This is a super cute kit that comes in a lovely toiletry bag - perfect for anyone wanting to give this as a gift. The contents are also of good quality. The cloths are super soft and gentle on the little one's skin. The soap is really lovely. I find it hard to find good soap that doesn't irritate my little one's skin since he is an atopic like me, but this one worked fine. I've tested it for three baths, and it has gone well every time. The hairbrush is a bit too soft for my son, who is 21 months old and has thick hair, but for a newborn, it is perfect. The brush works better as a shower brush for him instead. The only thing that prevents me from giving this kit a full score is the oil. The oil itself is superb. It's probably the best baby oil I've used. But I can't stand screw caps for products I need to use at the changing table. They disappear so easily and take time to screw off. You can be stressed one day, and that day will be the last day you see the cap. No, screw caps belong at home among medications and food, not something like this.
