A nice gel-to-cream cleanser 🥒
Of the 3 products I've tested as #lykotestpilot for #emmas, I like this one best. It's one of the gentler gel cleansers I've tried, but you still feel clean and fresh from it 😊 I like that it has gentle cleansing agents, moisturizing ingredients, and a fun touch with cucumber extract. 🥒 A simple aesthetic bottle with a screw cap (would be more convenient with a flip cap, but at the same time, screw caps can reduce leakage and mess). 🤍 A slightly thicker transparent gel, but combined with water it becomes a bit creamier and white. Can be foamed up a little, but I think it feels mostly creamy. 🧴 Completely fragrance-free but smells slightly earthy/maybe cucumber, something natural but fresh. I've tested cleansing both with and without makeup. I don't feel it removes absolutely all makeup on its own – I get some foundation residue left on a cotton pad. But it's water-based, so I didn't really expect otherwise. My experience is that oil/wax-based products often dissolve makeup best. But very nice as a step-2 cleanser or when you haven't worn makeup. 🫧 About me: 34 years old, combination and surface dry with a slightly oily T-zone. I find the product suits me very well. "Clean skin, no drama" 🫧
This is a mild, gentle, and fragrance-free cleansing gel 🫧 The product comes in a sleek white tube with a screw cap. Quite generous with its 125 ml 🎉 The gel itself is transparent and has exactly a gel consistency. There is a scent that is lightly fresh, but I guess it’s the natural scent of the ingredients, as I don’t find it perfumed. 😊 It is very mild and gentle on the skin and likely suitable for sensitive skin as well. Overall, I think it’s really good 🌞 However, it is a bit too gentle to successfully remove eye makeup in a satisfactory way. So I have had to supplement with another eye makeup remover. I find the cleanser to be a reliable and non-drying option that I like. So satisfied!
I got to try this cleansing gel as a Lyko test pilot, and it really came at the right time when my skin was very dry. I normally have combination skin, but sometimes get dry periods where the skin flakes and makeup doesn't sit well. I didn't have high expectations, but was positively surprised. Already after a few uses, the skin felt moisturized, soft, and smooth, and the dryness disappeared. It is fragrance-free, which I was initially doubtful about, but the skin still feels very clean and fresh afterwards. It also removes makeup well. High-quality cleanser that doesn’t dry out the skin!
A little about me: combination skin with a T-zone and dry cheeks. Quality cleanser with cucumber extract that cleanses without drying out the skin!🥒 Rich and thick formula (see picture) that still applies and rinses off easily. Feels roughly like a cleansing milk, which suits my dry cheeks perfectly! Very mild and pleasant scent. Mild and effective cleansing 💦
Gentle cleansing gel that promises good cleansing without drama on the tube, and it keeps that promise. My skin is dry, and I layer it with moisture, and even the cleansing I choose needs to be gentle on my skin and not provoke it, and a fragrance-free cleanser is great! But it actually has a faint scent that is fresh, so there are probably a few percent fragrance in it after all. And it’s not a harsh cleanser that doesn’t foam much, it barely produces any foam at all. That’s a big plus for my skin too! Despite its mild appearance, it cleans incredibly well, I remove all SPF and makeup so well that there’s hardly any sign of dirt on the cotton pad with micellar as step two in my evening cleansing routine. Since I have trouble using most products as eye cleansers, I haven’t removed eye makeup with this one, because I can’t tolerate most things, even those available at the pharmacy, a very specific allergy/sensitivity my skin around the eyes has, though I do tolerate eye creams, for example. I like to use Gentle Cleansing Gel when I have more makeup and several layers of SPF, not for me in winter but excellent right now in spring and until October. A reliable cleanser that I can use as a one-step cleansing if I’m super tired. Perfect Cleansing gel
I was very happy to get Emma S Cleansing to test, I was impressed by how good and high-quality the product is. This cleanser has a gel consistency. I am 39 years old and have been using it for a few weeks now, it is perfect. My skin feels clean and hydrated, and it removes makeup well. Another good thing is that the product is fragrance-free. I am glad I could test an effective product that lives up to the description and has become my new favorite. I highly recommend it. Okay mild cleansing
I have been selected to test some products from #emmas 🙌 About me: almost 38 years old, (even though my mind says 20 🤷🏻♀️) where age starts to show in the form of fine lines around the eyes and some deeper lines on the forehead. I have a combination skin type with an oily T-zone but drier and somewhat red cheeks. I am not super sensitive but can sometimes react to e.g. retinol or strongly fragranced skincare. I have used the cleanser every morning for about a month. The consistency is quite firm and becomes a nice foam when wet, and is completely fragrance-free. Unfortunately, it doesn’t remove much makeup (I use eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara daily, which can hold quite well, and I appreciate products that remove as much as possible) but works well in the morning as a refresh, and I think the skin feels clean but not squeaky clean after use. I also don’t experience it drying out my skin, which is good! My personal opinion about the packaging is that I dislike tubes with screw caps, especially on products used with wet hands, and I would definitely prefer a pump packaging. I have no problem using up the remaining product (as morning cleansing), but I will not buy a new one when it’s finished. Gentle and mild cleansing
I have tried this gel cleanser for a few weeks and really like it. It is very mild and gentle on the skin and fragrance-free, which is a plus for me. However, I would prefer to use it in the morning or in the evening if I haven't worn makeup, as I find that not all makeup comes off even with double cleansing. I've tested it for a few weeks, first impression a pleasant and gentle cleansing, doesn't give that dry feeling you can get from other cleansing products. A bit about my skin. • gets easily red • or • Approaching 40 so fine lines • Some areas incredibly dry It removes makeup well, maybe not a wow effect, but afterwards you get the wow feeling as the skin feels so soft and moisturized. If you look at the packaging you can see that it’s from me and sleek! It also has some nice ingredients like cucumber extract, panthenol, and mild surfactant technology. Would I buy it again? Mild and pleasant!
I really like this one! It feels super mild and soothing on the skin, just as it promises. I use it as the last step in my double cleansing, and it fits perfectly there to remove the last bits and leave the skin clean but still soft. I would probably want something a bit stronger to start with to really dissolve all the makeup first, but as a gentle finish, it’s gold. Excellent gel cleanser
🙋♀️ I have very sensitive, dry to combination skin that is extremely allergy prone. I also have some fine lines around my eyes and sun spots on my cheek bones. 📦 The packaging This gel cleanser comes in a white tube. It has a twist off cap. It's very easy to get the product out from the packaging. 👀 The texture and looks The gel cleanser is well, in gel form. It's quite solid in consistency. The texture is very lightweight. It's transparent and it mildly soaps up when mixed with hands and later with water. 👃 The smell It has barely noticeable smell to it, but I cannot determine what it is. It's not unpleasant and it doesn't linger on the skin. 🤔 My opinion As you can see on the pictures I did a basic cleaning test on my arm. Even though it says it's a gentle cleanser it cleaned almost all of the makeup I put on my arm. The only thing that was left was lip liner from fenty beauty and a bit of creamy blush. Everything else was removed. Which is very impressive for a gentle cleanser! I did mostly use it as a 2nd cleanser or my only cleanser in the mornings or evenings when I didn't wear makeup. It worked perfectly! I felt that it cleansed my skin completely. It didn't cause any dryness or tightness after use so that's a huge plus. In summary, this is a great gel cleanser. I was nicely surprised of how powerful it is and still so gentle on my skin.
