No major difference…
I tested the Maria Nila Cool Cream in hopes of getting a cooler tone and refreshing my color between salon visits. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any major difference in the results. In the before-and-after pictures (right is after), you can see that the tone in the hair is basically the same – no noticeable toning down of the warm shades that I had expected. The positive is that the hair felt soft and moisturized after use, and the product is easy to apply. But when it comes to the promised color effect and cooling of the tone, it unfortunately didn’t live up to my expectations. The comment was made 1 yearI think there are a bit too weak pigments in it for your hair shade, I think it works better on lighter hair 🙂 I have tried Revlon's color packs and think they are better, and there are several "cool" shades you can use on blonde hair. One that has something with "mauve" (mauve blonde) and one that is called "light beige". I can also recommend Fanola's "no yellow" silver shampoo. Very affordable and has a bit more blue pigment (which is good for darker blonde hair) without risking being discolored.2 likes

Broken pump
Unfortunately, I got a unit where the pump didn’t work. I had to unscrew the pump and “throw” out the product. Waiting with the coloring was not an option since I had already poured the other shade I was going to mix with, so unfortunately I guess I can’t send it back :-( Too bad, because I won’t get everything out of the packaging as I would have if the pump had worked…1 product in post Broken pump203 views- The user's roll: Employees at Lyko. Everything great EXCEPT the packaging
WHEN will you release this product in a tube so you can get out the entire amount of color without having to break open the packaging by force in various ways??? I have been using this product for many years (about 10 years) now and am satisfied with everything except the pump function. Due to the consistency, it’s somewhat tricky to handle with gloves or when you have wet hands. Or even worse, when you have to pump it out holding the whole bottle in your hand because your shower shelf can’t hold up to how hard you have to press the pump. I can also imagine getting the product in a pouch (as a refill packaging) so you can easily have it in different mixes with other colors whenever you want. I’m also happy that Vivid Violet fades to pink and not blue/green. That’s the main reason I use this treatment. I don't have particularly dark hair, but this made no difference in color at all. If you want a hair mask that makes your hair soft but colors everything except your own hair, it's perfect. Caramel Brown
I have naturally brown hair with many blonde highlights, used caramel brown. Started by testing on two spots in the underhair, the blonde highlights became more pink and the red tone came out clearly. But in the brown hair it looked nice. Ingredients
A pigmented, nourishing mask that will quickly freshen up your hair and color. Apply to washed, towel-dried hair. Spread the cream using a comb/your fingers. Let sit for 3-10 min. depending on desired intensity. Rinse and finish with conditioner. Suitable to use as is on medium to dark hair (level 2-7).
