Summary: Affordable serum with Vitamin C!
I like the lightweight consistency as it fits my oily skin perfectly. I have used it both alone and under moisturizer, and both work fine for me. The product absorbs quickly into the skin and gives a hydrated and glowy feel on the skin. The dropper makes it easy to dose the right amount, and it feels hygienic. No reaction on my otherwise reactive skin gives extra points. Thanks reviewclub for giving me the opportunity to test this lovely serum. 🙏🏻 The serum comes in a really nice frosted glass bottle, perfect for seeing how much serum you have left 💕 The dropper that comes with it is good so you have an overview of how much serum comes out, it's easy to dose correctly. 💕 I have dry skin and my skin needs a lot of moisture 💦 I find that this serum just sits on top of the skin and then disappears. It doesn't penetrate the skin, and after just a few hours, all the product and effect of the product are gone, unfortunately. Super disappointing, and I'm a bit let down because I really wanted to like this serum. If you're dry like me, it's better to look for another serum that is more deeply hydrating, but if you have normal skin and are looking for a wonderfully scented serum, it might work well! Great serum with vitamin C
The brand Lumene has many great cosmetics, and in my opinion, it is very little known in the US cosmetics market. I mainly use this serum at night. I have oily skin, and unfortunately, this product does not work for me during the day under makeup - it causes me to shine faster. Maybe it would work for someone with combination skin leaning towards dry. The serum does not cause me allergies, does not irritate (despite the fragrance ingredients), does not cause burning, redness, or breakouts. It has, in my opinion, a very nice scent - I can sense freshness and citrus. It has a watery consistency that is easy to spread on the skin, making the product VERY economical. After a few weeks of regular use, I can see how radiant, hydrated, and smooth my facial skin is. However, I have not noticed any lightening of pigmentation - perhaps the type of pigmentation I have can only be reduced with aesthetic treatments, as cosmetics usually have low concentrations of active substances. I happened to see some photos of myself, with a few years on my neck, and I looked so incredibly glowy in my skin. It made me start to think... what have I changed in my skincare routine. And then I realized. I stopped using my Lumene Nordic C serum shortly after the photo was taken. The reason was that I got some eczema, which didn’t need to be due to the serum (I had just given birth), but in desperation, I stopped everything and switched to Purito instead. And I love Purito. But I missed that extra glow. So I bought this again, and the glow has returned. I’m a real "lumenegirl", and the glow series is a bit of my favorite. Vitamin C percentage
Hi, what is the vitamin C percentage for this one? I my skin is sensitive and doesn't handle high percentages. Would this one be recommended for me. The comment was made 2 monthsHi Elaine😊 Thank you for your question✨ I understand and Lumene doesn’t state an exact percentage for this serum, but it uses a gentler vitamin C derivative (Ascorbyl Glucoside) rather than strong pure vitamin C. This often makes it more suitable for sensitive skin, and many users report that it feels mild. Since you tolerated the Klairs Vitamin C well, this one may also work for you — but I still recommend doing a small patch test first to be sure beucase every product is different and the skin can also therefore tolerate it differently. 🧡3/5🧡 Good but I didn't think it was sufficient for my skin. My skin is quite dry now during the winter months and needs quite a bit of moisture. 🙈 I have been using the Nordic-C Glow Boost serum for a while now and think it is a pretty okay product. It feels light on the skin, absorbs quickly, and gives a fresh feeling in the morning. The skin gets a bit more glow, but I had hoped for a clearer result. For me, it simply doesn't do as much as I wished, even though I think it's valuable 🥰 ➕️ Light and lovely consistency ➕️ Gives a little extra glow ➕️ Smells fresh (though maybe a bit too much for me) ➕️ Valuable compared to many other C vitamin serums ➖️ The result is quite milder than I expected ➖️ Feels like I need to supplement with more products for effect In summary: a good everyday serum that works, but maybe not the most effective if you're looking for really clear results. #lykoreview #lumene711 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Nice glow and good scent, but not enough for me as a dry skin 💖
✨ First impression Smells divine of orange 🍊 Absorbed quickly into the skin and gave a nice natural glow. Nice glass bottle in lovely orange. 🍁 About me and my preferences I have a very dry skin type that is somewhat sensitive. I usually choose primarily moisturizing products for the face and always use serum morning and evening before face cream. 🏵️ My thoughts and experiences Nice serum! Love the scent, feel very fresh! But for me, it is unfortunately not sufficient in moisture, even though it is supposed to be intensely moisturizing according to the description, I need even more! ✨ I will definitely use it up, but probably won't buy it again because of this.
