Wow for a glow!
I have been so lucky to test the NARS Light Reflecting Luminizer in the shade Electra, and I just have to say WOW, This highlighter is something special. The color is absolutely gorgeous, has lots of shimmer, and gives a golden glow to the skin. It applies evenly and nicely on the skin, blends in easily, and works well layered with the rest of the makeup. What’s nice about this is that the effect is buildable, so you can regulate how much shimmer you want based on the look you’re going for. Even if you apply it multiple times, the result is still natural and doesn’t streak like other highlighters can. I don’t often use highlighter for everyday, but I can easily use this for just a little extra glow on the cheekbones. Melts into the skin
I’ve been so lucky to test the NARS makeup stick, which can be used for so much! For me, I’ve mostly used this as a blush stick😊 The color Orgasm Crave is, in my opinion, the perfect pink shade! Just light enough, and it matched my skin tone well. As several have mentioned, the stick isn’t very pigmented on the first application, but I actually think it’s nice that the product has a buildable effect depending on how strong of a color you want. I went over my skin 2-3 times before I was satisfied with the color result. I dabbed the brush directly on the stick, and then worked the product into my skin. It melts easily into the skin without creating unnatural lines, even with several rounds to achieve a buildable effect. I also love that it has a little hint of shimmer! It gives a nice glow without being too much. Works for everyday, but can also be built up more if you want a little extra shine. Brightens under the eyes!
I’ve been so lucky to test Nars’ concealer in the shade Vanilla, and I’ve been trying it for a little while now. I have very fair skin, and this matched perfectly in color and has a neutral undertone! The consistency is quite thick, which means you need very little product at a time. It’s a bit unusual for me to use concealer in a jar, which might be a bit more cumbersome than with an applicator, but it works fine. I liked best to first dab a little product on the skin with my finger before I worked it in with a brush. The result might have been even better with a beauty blender, but I don’t use that so often in my daily routine. What I really LOVE is how it brightens under the eyes and effectively hides dark circles. The result looks fresh and awake without becoming cakey. I’ve tried to show the brightening effect in the video. The price is a bit high for a concealer, but I think it delivers on what it promises, and the finish holds up nicely throughout the day. Even mist and good scent!
I have used a lot of different heat protection sprays over the past years, and I really liked this one! I have always had long hair that quickly becomes dry at the ends, so I am very focused on the spray protecting my hair as well as possible when using heat. This spray is like a light mist and distributes evenly in the hair without weighing it down. See video for illustration. I had a highly loved ghd a few years ago, but I had forgotten how GOOD these are! The straightener heats up in just a few seconds and is ready to use. It straightens the hair quickly and leaves a soft and shiny result. I love that the iron is also very rounded at the edges, as it also works well for making curls! I see that several mention it as a disadvantage that the iron doesn't have different heat settings. For me, I usually never have a higher heat than 185 degrees anyway, to protect the hair as much as possible. Separates and Lengthens
At first, I really liked this mascara!! A good lengthening mascara that separates the lashes and gives a nice length. Not a mascara for those looking for a lot of volume. Unfortunately, it smudges a bit throughout the day, so you have to be careful it doesn't give you panda eyes. After a month of use, when it has become drier, I find it has become harder to work with and clumps more. Practical and affordable
I have tested Estrid's razors, and I really like them! I also received a package with refills, and I think it's a good price for 4 pieces. Practical package to take on trips too! I think maybe the refills could also include the protective cap that you get with the actual razor on the first blade. A shaving foam that works as it should!
I have tested Estrid's shaving foam and I really like it! Nice design, and the pink bottle fits perfectly on the bathroom shelf. The product itself works exactly as a shaving foam should. It comes out as a slightly thick gel, but lathers up quickly and well when it comes into contact with water. It makes shaving easy and pleasant. It feels economical in use, and you don't need much to cover large areas. Gives a good result!
I have tested Estrid's razor in the color guava and am very satisfied! Not only does it look nice in the shower, but it is also incredibly good to use. It comes with a practical holder that attaches with a suction cup, so the razor has a fixed place and is easily accessible. The blade on the razor has a protective product around it that makes it very easy to use. It glides smoothly over the skin and provides a close, comfortable shaving result without irritation. I have used it on my legs and experience getting silky smooth skin, without ingrown hairs. The only small downside is that the product dissolves quite quickly in water and disappears after a few uses. An extra bonus is that an extra blade is included in the package! Pretty decent deodorant
I have tested Estrid's antiperspirant in the scent Wave. The deodorant works as it should and protects against odor. However, I have never experienced a deodorant lasting 48 hours, and this one doesn't either. The scent is a unisex scent, which is fresh and strong. I probably prefer more feminine scents, but if you like a more «neutral» or masculine tone in your scents, this could be a good alternative! I like the concept of refill, but I think the price is a bit too high for me to buy it regularly.
