Really good setting spray with glow! ✨
As a Lyko influencer tester, I've had the chance to try Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray Glow Finish for a couple of weeks now! ☀️ I've previously tried Urban Decay's natural/regular setting sprays, which I really liked, but I think I've found one to take over now! 🤩 My first impression was WOW! As someone who loves glow, I really got what the product promised! A glowing, moisturizing, and plumped skin! It makes the makeup both last and look better! 💁♀️ You get a bit sticky when applying, but it dries quickly and is wonderful! Completely okay
I got to try Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray Glow Finish. This is the new formula, which was very exciting to try. Previously, I had the regular one with the old formula but chose to try the glow. I have to say that I mostly notice if a setting spray doesn’t work or if the consistency is odd or it doesn’t smell good. It smells very similar to the previous formula, which I would describe as a faint wet wipe scent 😆 not the best smell but it feels clean. The first time I tried it, I could definitely feel a slight cooling sensation, but what I mostly reacted to was that it was very sticky for a couple of minutes before it settled. But I like the spray itself and it delivers a lot of product in an even flow. What to say about the glow? Maybe a bit faint but nothing I really think about. But as I said, I’m not the best at noticing differences between setting sprays. Still, I think this one does what it’s supposed to. I haven’t stress-tested it but have just used it instead of my usual setting spray in my regular routine. Would I buy this? Not quite up to my expectations
As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of trying this product from #urbandecay ✨ In short: I think this is a pretty okay setting spray, but unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. I have previously used the All Nighter Setting Spray in the Natural variant and really like it, so I had pretty high expectations for this variant as well. The first thing I noticed was that it has a nice mist that distributes the product evenly over the skin, and it feels pleasant to apply. It also dries quickly, which is always a plus! ✨ I also think it gives a nice glowing finish and makes the skin look fresh. However, I probably expected a bit more radiance considering the product’s focus. 😅 What unfortunately lowers the rating for me, along with expecting a liiiiittle more glow, is that I don’t feel it holds makeup in place as well or as long as the Natural version. Glass-look
Glowy? No. Glass skin? Yes! Expected a lot from this, as the brand itself is fantastic! But this was absolutely not what I would call "glowy". The skin gets a glass finish, which can remind a bit of a freshly painted porcelain doll. Almost a wet-look. The spray is SUPER NICE! So light and fine that you don’t notice it on the skin at all. Which makes it easy to go a bit wild with the spray. "The shower" is also quite wide, so both hair and chest get a spray too 🤭 After a few minutes it is STICKY, but after about half an hour it is semi-dry. Fingers don’t stick to the face, but you definitely feel some stickiness. Smells minimal, which is nice for me so it doesn’t mix with any perfume. Comes in a simple cardboard box, transparent cap. The bottle feels a bit like velour? Must be shaken before use! Lasts all evening. Don’t feel like this "sets" the makeup, as this is a finish spray! Gives good hold to the makeup, but no home run. Perfect dewy finish
Urban Decay's All Nighter has long been a staple favorite on my bathroom shelf and has been a classic since middle school. Since I love a fresh and glowing look, the classic can sometimes feel a bit matte. It definitely doesn’t add much extra. This one, however, feels significantly more moisturizing and gives a much more natural, lovely glow without looking shiny. I also think it holds up well throughout the day, and the application itself is smooth and soft. The makeup lasts all day!
Urban Decay has actually always been my go-to setting spray, but after the last bottle ran out, I tested quite a few other brands to compare. When I was about to test this one again, I noticed how much I had missed it!💛 And it’s incredibly exciting to try a new formula. I love glowy makeup, so I went for the glowy version this time. I was a bit skeptical since I know the formula has changed, but I actually think this one is just as good as it has been before. It has a lovely mist and I find it covers well, no big droplets!💜 In the video, I applied makeup in the morning and had a long day of traveling. What I often feel disappears during the day is blush and bronzer, but as you can see, the makeup has held up well! In some places like around the nose and similar, you can see the makeup starting to fade a bit, but that’s probably to be expected after 11 hours! I had the great honor of trying new products from my favorite brand from before! And @Urban Decay delivered this time too!! I've been using the All Nighter setting spray for many, many years and always have it at home. It lasts all day, and so did this one with a glow finish! ✨ I got a very nice glow from it, the last makeup melts into the skin and, as I said, it lasts all day! Also a good spray, comes out just the right amount in each “spray”. I don't feel like it dries out the skin. Better than the original!
No makeup routine is complete without setting spray! I've tried many setting sprays over the years, but I've tended to avoid them as they often dry out my skin. I like the fresh color of the bottle, but unfortunately the cap on the one I got is very poor. It almost falls off just by holding it upside down, so I won't be able to travel with it, which is a shame. I was surprised at how fine the mist is on this one, you get the perfect amount with each spray! I didn't find the scent overpowering, which is a plus in my book. After application, the skin feels cooled and a bit sticky when it has dried, but it wasn't something I noticed later in the day. I already have very glowing skin, but I don't think this made my skin much more glowing. If anything, I think it made the glow more even and toned down, which is nice for me! I mainly chose this version because I have combination skin, which tends to be very dry but can also get oily. When using regular setting sprays, including the original, my skin tended to flake, but with this one I had no problem. For my drier skin, it was perfect that this one was moisturizing. Are there really any better setting sprays than Urban Decay? I use the original All Nighter regularly, so I was very excited to test this glow variant. I was a bit afraid the result would be more shiny than glowing, but this really surprised me positively✨ The spray distributes evenly, the bottle has a nice design, and most importantly it keeps the makeup in place for hours. I actually used it for the first time on my wedding day, and despite blazing sun, sweat, and some tears, the makeup stayed just as nice all day long. It gives a natural and fresh glow without the skin looking oily or sweaty. The result is simply a healthy and radiant finish.
