The cap sits poorly
A nice solution if it were user-friendly. I have 2 of this refill system, but with little joy. The cap sits very loose, on both. So hardly a production error. The casing is metal and smooth to hold. I miss that the refill product has an included label indicating which product it is. Something that should be a given in this price range. So every time I have to check which color is in the casing. Yes, I could of course label it myself and stick it on, but that should be unnecessary. Feels like this product was rushed through to make as much money as possible in the shortest time. Included polyester case. (I would rather have a label to stick under the casing). Good, but a bit of staying power
The first time I smelled this perfume, I bought it immediately. It’s a deep scent of sweet tobacco, rounded off with fresh lemon. In the middle notes, I detect smoky rum and whiskey, with a vanilla that tempts at the base. But it doesn’t last particularly long; after 2 hours, the scent is completely gone. The bottle is very elegant but has a somewhat uninviting cap that protects the spray mechanism. It also doesn’t fit well. 😭 Comes in a cardboard box that looks a bit cheap. But don’t be fooled by the contents, which smell very alluring! Or more towards unisex man to unisex. 👨🏼👨🏽👨🏿 I can almost smell the jazz musician in this bottle, with a rum in hand. 🎷🥃 You’re missing out on something unique by not smelling this! In a collection of well over 50 scents, this is clearly in the top 10. LOVE IT!
Another marvel from Ellie Saab! The scent of patchouli is heavy and strong, but the orange softens it all! Personally, I don’t notice the rose scent, luckily. Not a safe blind buy, you should smell this one. The bottle is elegant, but the plastic cap squeaks and lowers the first impression. It’s also bulky. A strong scent that doesn’t become sweet and cloying. Vanilla scents tend to get too sweet and heavy. A small dupe for Simple's wipes. About the same size, thick and a bit "stringy" against the skin that sticks well to the face. Removes makeup effectively but misses a bit more moisture, which is solved with a few drops of water. A good alternative if others are sold out. Fits perfectly on my hands with fake nails. I wear size S. Slim fit. Perfect for applying self-tanner, gardening, baking, and various tasks. Does not tear with use. For a long time, I've been using the dupe for this product (Maybelline FIT ME loose powder), which I bought on a website years ago. It recently ran out, so I went for this fantastic product that is "world-famous." WITH GOOD REASON!!! 😍 It comes with tape over the holes that dispense the product. I pulled mine halfway over in case it falls on the floor or to "shake" the product back into the container. This is seriously the most interesting and highly recommended product I've bought so far. Yes, it's expensive, but you have it for at least 2 years. For a long time, $ellout has been sold out, and now it finally came back! ❤️🩹 But… The color is NOT the same… The color on the right is the old one, left is new.
