Feminine, soft and airy - not heavy vanilla / strong ๐ง๐ง๐จ๐งก
๐๐พฬ๐ป๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ท: Beautiful retro-inspired, extra weight in the bottle and cap, with gold details that feel exclusive ๐โจ The first spray I experienced a bit like โolder lady perfumeโ at first and didnโt like it ๐ MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE SCENT AFTER 1 WEEK: โ Sophisticated, soft, feminine. Sweet, but not over the top. Cool vanilla and not heavy. Neither vanilla nor floral dominates. Well balanced. Love that you find many notes the more you wear it โบ๏ธ: Buttery flower, lightly sweet and salty, oriental, a bit spicy, airy fresh-air feeling, powdery, creamy. โ However, dry wood in the dry down on my skin which I dislike, feels a bit masculine ๐ชต (appears a few hours after I sprayed concentrated on my wrist). If I instead spray light clouds more spread out over skin and clothes โ I experience the scent as soft and feminine all the way through. โ๏ธ The perfume seems mild for the surroundings (asked friends standing a meter away, they didnโt seem to notice it, despite 3 sprays ๐). Positive is that it seems suitable as an everyday perfume (also for me who is sometimes sensitive to scents). ๐งก Not as strong as โintenseโ might suggest โ but deep and warm. ๐๐ฒ๐ท๐ท๐ช ๐๐ฒ๐ท๐ท๐ช: For me, the best scent lasts about 2.5 hours, then the wood becomes more prominent. After 5 hours the scent is much weaker. 8 hours very weak, but I still feel it a bit on the skin. ๐ข๐ช๐ป๐ช: Have been a clean-girl with fruity notes for 10+ years (still love it), but lately have leaned towards warmer scents. However, donโt like heavy vanilla, very floral or strong wood. ๐๐พ๐ต๐ฒ๐ช: Surprised it doesnโt smell more vanilla, expected heavier vanilla. Not a strong perfume. Vanilla/flowers
This one smells sweet with vanilla and flowers, but also has a warm and luxurious feel. I think it suits both everyday and evening. The spray is also really good, itโs even and gives a nice distribution. On me, the scent lasts about 2-3 hours, then I need to spray again. I have been able to test this gem from Gucci for a few weeks, and I can truly say that the description of the perfume perfectly matches reality. This is an intense floral long-lasting gourmand scent, with freshness at the top, floral vanilla in the heart, and dark cocoa in the base. It is a really strong scent that lasts long on the skin and changes a bit over time. For me, it becomes a bit too strong and floral, but I can definitely imagine it suits many! Gourmand Feeling
โจ Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Eau de Parfum Intense โจ I got to try Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Eau de Parfum Intense as a Lyko Testpilot and here are my honest thoughts! ๐งก The scent has a salty ozonic top note, vanilla orchid in the heart, and a dark cocoa base. It is warm, sweet, and very intense, with a clear creamy and gourmand feel. Unfortunately, it didnโt become a new favorite for me. I found the scent quite strong, buttery, and heavy, especially when I sprayed it close to the skin. I personally prefer slightly lighter and more insta-gourmand scents. However, I actually thought it became much more pleasant when I sprayed it from a distance, as the scent then spread out more and didnโt feel as concentrated. This is definitely a perfume for you if you like warm, sweet, and intense scents with vanilla and cocoa. Known notes are as follows: Vanilla orchid ๐ธ Ozone-like โ๏ธ Cocoa ๐ซ Salt ๐ง My experience of the notes: Ozone-like โ๏ธ Buttery flowers ๐ธ ๐ง (for me, the first time I ever clearly notice buttery flowers) Salt ๐ง Bitter dark cocoa ๐ซ Initially, at the first sniff, I think you sense a relatively fresh airiness. Quite quickly, the buttery flowers come through. After a short while on the skin, the salty and dark cocoa develop. It is not a chocolate scent. It is bitterness, unsweetened and dark. However, it does not develop much further after that, but stays at the salty cocoa. It is a luxurious, feminine, somewhat complex but determined scent! ๐ The scent is actually far from what I expected. I expected a more standard Gucci Flora DNA with intense vanilla. But what is delivered is something more exciting and unusual. It is further from a typical, generic perfume. It is absolutely not a standard floral scent. It has significantly more depth with several layers. The longevity is good. It lasts a few hours on the skin and a bit longer on clothes. At the first spray, I was not entirely sure what I thought of this. Since I like fresher, lighter scents. I needed to give it a few uses to get more attached to it. If you prefer fresh, airy, clean scents, you might find this heavier and "darker." Thanks to being #lykotestpilot, I got to try this gem from #gucci! I was very positively surprised by this โ I previously owned the first one, the yellow Orchid. But I gave it away because it made me feel so sick, it was just salty and musty when I put it on!! Sooo when I sprayed this on me, I was sooo happy! I think this one is MUCH FRUITIER, FRESHER, AND DEEPER than the original! I think this ORCHID INTENSE is more multifaceted and has sooo many more nuances than the yellow original! This scent gives me a feeling of "when you stand and whisk hot chocolate." I think itโs a warm, safe, and cozy scent ๐ฅฐ Even my partner, who doesnโt like perfume at all, liked this! This is a scent I recommend to you if you think the first Gorgeous Orchid is too "flat and boring"! This one is warmer, not as musty, and has more nuances! I received this wonderful perfume and oh my - WOW!! What a fantastic scent!๐คฉ My first impression of the product was that the glass bottle itself was a bit boring, very simple and plain design. But that didnโt matter once I tried the perfume. It smells sooooo good, and I was so impressed by how long it lasted. Exactly as described!
An extraordinary description that demands a fragrance that meets expectations. This new scent from Gucci really does that. Hard to describe it any other way than a deep and warmly floral scent. Something completely new to me as I have never before tried a fragrance where the floral notes last all day. The packaging is both beautiful and comes with a smooth and fine mist function. Removing the cap and refilling my travel bottle from it worked without any problems. The scent's intensity is deep and lasts long, about 8 hours. I have a cold body temperature and usually have trouble with perfumes fading quickly, but this one performs really well. I really LOVED this perfume! It's so fun when you get to try products that you really fall for! Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Intense is a scent that makes me feel feminine and unstoppable! The scent is as wonderful as the bottle!
A wonderful scent that is just as lovely as the appearance of the bottle. I think the scent description matches well with how it actually smells. It opens with a fresh ozonic scent that quickly transitions to notes of warmer orchid vanilla. When it settles, the cocoa notes and amber become prominent. I can be sensitive to amber, but this one is not heavy at all. I think they captured the cocoa notes very well compared to other perfumes I've tried. If you like body lotion with a cocoa scent, you will love this! I think the perfume works as an evening scent year-round or a perfect autumn scent. It has good longevity, but maybe not as good as some heavier intense perfumes. For reference, I like sweet gourmand perfumes as well as floral and fruity notes. A scent that's too spicy can be difficult for me. Previous favorites include Victor&Rolf Flowerbomb, Dolce&Gabbana LโImperatrice, and Lushโs Sticky Dates. Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Intense is a perfume that surprises. When I read the scent notes, I thought this would be a perfume I would either hate or love. Luckily, it turned out to be the latter.. I'm not a fan of vanilla in fragrances because I think they almost always become too sweet and cloying, giving me the feeling of an overdosed car air freshener. But that's not the case here at all; the vanilla feels elegant and fresh and is nicely balanced by the cocoa, which also gives it depth. Even though it is deep, I don't find it heavy or cloying at all. It feels like a perfume that fits perfectly in winter when it's chilly outside and you want to feel a bit cozy, because that's how you feel with this one; it's like a warm, lovely blanket to snuggle into. I'm quite sensitive to scents, and my migraine is often triggered by perfumes. But this one doesn't trigger it at all. The perfume has impressive longevity! If I spray a couple of sprays on in the morning, I can still smell it towards the evening. I have no other perfume in my collection that lasts as well as this one. The bottle is beautiful; I really like the look of all Gucci Flora perfumes. They maintain a consistent style but differ by their various colors. I also have Gardenia from the series, and they obviously look great next to each other on the shelf.
