A new favorite scent! ๐
As a Lykoinfluencer, I had the honor of testing Giorgio Armani, Power Of You Eau de Parfum ๐ธ๐ My first impression was that it didnโt smell at all like I had imagined, but yum! What an exciting, fruity & lovely scent! At first, it is very tangy, (almost too much I thought at first) until it settles, and then it smells both feminine, fruity, and floral but with a tangy note! A wonderful scent that I have come to love ๐ I think it works just as well during the day as in the evening and I have become slightly obsessed ๐ It makes me long for warm summer evenings or a sparkling spring day! You can clearly feel the fresh sunny passion fruit in this. A fresh summery scent that smells good without overpowering, settles nicely, and the scent lasts long. A new favorite perfume!!! ๐๐
I've wanted to buy Power Of You Eau de Parfum ever since it was launched, so I was incredibly happy when I finally got it. I had built up high expectations, but it actually managed to exceed them and has quickly become one of my absolute favorite perfumes. The first thing I notice is the juicy passion fruit that gives a fresh and lively opening. After a while, the beautiful frangipani comes through and makes the scent softer and more feminine before it settles into a creamy base of Madagascar vanilla. The combination becomes tropical, warm, and elegant without feeling too sweet or heavy. It really develops nicely throughout the day, and the scent feels both modern and luxurious. I'm a big perfume fan and have tried many different scents over the years, so it takes quite a lot for a perfume to stand out to me. This is one of those scents that I constantly want to reach for, whether it's for everyday use or when I want to feel a little extra dressed up. The longevity is also really good on me. I can still smell it several hours after application, and it stays nicely on both skin and clothes. It gets softer the longer it sits but never completely disappears, which I really appreciate. If you like fruity gourmand scents with a creamy vanilla base and a sophisticated floral note, I really think this one is worth trying. My new favorite
A fantastically balanced and sophisticated fragrance that feels deep, pleasant, and incredibly elegant. Itโs not too sweet or sharp, and it smells wonderful! I think it smells amazing on the skin. ๐ What I probably like best is how incredibly well-balanced it is. It avoids the trap of being overwhelming or heavy. Just enough for a nice scent without being cloying or too much. โจ It has a lovely warmth but never becomes too sweet or sticky๐ . The sweetness is subdued and elegant.๐ The fragrance has a pleasant projection ("not too strong"), which makes you feel nicely scented all day without it being too much for those around you.๐ At the same time, it feels incredibly deep, cozy, and lovelyโ๏ธ. The scent has a complexity that makes it feel exclusive and embracing, and I feel very luxurious when I wear it. โค๏ธ I think this is an incredibly versatile fragrance. Because itโs neither too intense nor too sweet, it works just as well as a signature scent for everyday use as for evenings and special occasions. Passion Fruit Perfume
This one gets three out of five โญ๏ธ from me. What I like about the perfume ๐๐ผ - lasts all day - unique - it smells strong so you only need a little, which makes it last longer ๐ - the bottle is nice What I like less about it ๐๐ผ - itโs expensive - it only smells like passion fruit, I thought you would smell more of the vanilla. If youโre a passion fruit lover, you will love this perfume!! Unfortunately, I canโt carry the scent, so thatโs why it drops in rating for me. Really passionfruit-y
I was so excited when I got this to test because Iโve heard so many good things about it and it seems like itโs been one of the most popular scents this summer! ๐ I had previously smelled this in the store and thought about buying it but never did, luckily, because now I got it to test and I have to admit I havenโt used it much myself. Iโve tried to keep using it but in my opinion the scent is too fruity sweet and the passionfruit really comes out strongly! I really wanted to love this one! ๐ฅน๐ I actually like the opening very much; itโs warm, masculine, and incredibly promising. But unfortunately, this is a perfume Iโve never quite managed to be friends with. ๐ After it has had some time to develop on my skin, a note emerges that simply doesnโt suit my taste. I canโt quite put my finger on what it is, but it gets a slightly sour character on my skin that makes me not feel completely comfortable wearing it. ๐ Iโve really given it several chances! ๐ Iโve tested it on different parts of my skin, on clothes, and on various occasions, but the experience is unfortunately the same every time. That obviously doesnโt mean itโs a bad perfume, quite the opposite! โค๏ธ Perfume is incredibly personal, and skin chemistry plays a huge role. What smells absolutely fantastic on one person can develop completely differently on another.
