Wow!!!
I got the task to test Giorgio Armani's new perfume Power Of You, and WOW!!💘 This is really such a perfume that surprises you in the best way. It has a warm, soft, and slightly creamy feel that makes it feel both safe and super fresh at the same time. At the first spray on the skin, it feels immediately round in its scent, not strong or piercing. The feeling on the skin becomes luxurious but still light, it melts into your own scent in a very natural way. The scent of vanilla from Madagascar and passion fruit comes through immediately, but it’s not too sweet; rather just right. I also think it smells a bit floral at the same time!🩷 Perfect for anyone who wants a scent that feels feminine without being too sweet or heavy!🫶🏼 The shape of the bottle really fits the scent, the ruby-colored perfume in an elongated round bottle with rose-gold details adorning the sides and top. The perfume really surprised me in the best way! A new favorite in the perfume shelf 🌸🤍
I’ve been lucky enough to test Giorgio Armani’s new gourmand scent "Power of you" and I want to start by saying WOW. This is a new special favorite of mine. I’m weak for vanilla scents, which this one has. Madagascar vanilla in the absolute best way, but the combination with passion fruit and frangipani I wasn’t prepared for it to become such an incredible scent for me. 🌸🤍 I can hardly wear floral scents without it becoming too sharp or strong, but this one kind of lands softly in a way. The explosion of passion fruit makes power of you playful and clear, then the flowers slowly roll in and land in an incredible vanilla scent that lasts for a lonnnnng time. 🤍 I think this will be one of the summer’s favorite perfumes among many, but it’s important to dare to test, because a lot happens, it’s not just a perfume that feels obvious or simple, but almost hard to grasp? 🫶🏼 The combination of scents does not disappoint me at all, I can promise, it’s so amazing, I think! The design is incredible (I want to do my nails in exactly the same color as the bottle, sooooo pretty!) The warm red/purple together with the gold feels so luxurious ✨ The longevity is not the same as, for example, Prada Paradoxe, but almost I would say, then you can always apply a bit of Vaseline on the skin before perfume, then it lasts really long. 🤍🌸 I have quite a few perfumes and have tested many perfumes, the last time I was shocked by a scent was just Paradoxe, but now I’ve been surprised again. I got to test Giorgio Armani's new fragrance The Power of You. The scent is said to have notes of vanilla, frangipani & passion fruit, which I find very interesting. This is a perfume that is perfect for spring and summer!! I experience that the passion fruit is really clear and prominent in the scent, so if you are a person who loves passion fruit, then this is really something for you. The scent also gives a light, powdery, and warm feeling, which I thought was lovely. I would say that it leans more towards the sweet side and that the scent lasts very well. For me, the passion fruit scent might have been a bit too prominent to be a new everyday perfume, but I can really appreciate a scent that stands out from the crowd. It feels like I will use this for special occasions, especially coming into summer🌞 I also have to say that the bottle is incredibly beautiful, which is a big plus! I am not a person who wears perfume every day. But this perfume makes me want to start! It smells so incredibly good. The first time I sprayed it on, I felt incredibly positively surprised. This perfume smells oootroligt good! It lasts all day, even a hint the next day. It is sweet without being sticky. And it is fresh without smelling like laundry detergent. The bottle is pretty. It feels heavy and luxurious. The cap is gold and matches nicely with the bottle neck. Must start with omg!! Love it! I've been searching for my next perfume fave for a long time, but it's not so easy in this jungle of scents.. But when I saw that Armani was coming out with a new one, I got super excited. I've been using their my way for a long time. A true classic that can be used both for everyday and parties. And I would say this is up there in the same rank as the predecessor. This one is a bit fresher, will be perfect for summer 😍 I think the description really fits, I think the passion fruit is there. It's not too heavy so it works for everyday, but the vanilla makes it a bit sexier so I would easily wear this to a party too. A scent that lasts! 🩷
I was so HAPPY when I got the chance to try Giorgio Armanis new perfume! You can really see in the video how excited I am – almost a bit tense, haha. It turned into a first impression video to give the most honest first impression possible, and I've also used the perfume several times afterward. The scent lasts a long time, which I really appreciate – a big plus to not have to reapply during the day 😃 It is exactly as described: elegant, floral, and feminine without being too heavy. This may not be the perfume I reach for every day, but it is perfect for the days I want to mix up my routine. If you missed that #giorgioarmani has released a new perfume, that’s A DAMN SHAME!! I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to test POWER OF YOU Eau de Parfum and I’M IN LOVE. Personally, I probably haven’t tried a perfume that smells like Power of You (and I own quite a few perfumes). Power of You is described as a gourmand-floral scent that combines passion fruit, frangipani, and vanilla. The description is really what you get. I think the scent of passion fruit is stronger than vanilla, but I have no problem with that! The perfume melts into the skin and into your own scent. I love that the perfume smells sensual, feminine, and exotic. The scent is not too strong and suits various occasions. The bottle is sleek and gives "dold money vibes" Power of You gets a strong 5/5 from me, and I recommend it especially now as Valentine’s Day approaches and you want to smell a little extra for your love or to feel sexy/feminine. Incredible!
I've been looking forward to trying this perfume so much!! I think the notes sound incredible and something I would really like, and I was so right! First and foremost, I have to say that the bottle is so beautiful and sleek. I love the red color and the golden details, I think it exudes luxury and femininity. This perfume is supposed to be a gourmand scent that is supposed to smell like passion fruit and vanilla, and they have really succeeded with these notes! The first thing you smell is a distinct passion fruit scent, it is both sweet but still a bit tangy. Once it settles a bit, you can feel a base of vanilla that really marries well with the passion fruit. This is truly a unique scent that I've never felt before, which is fun! I've gotten a bit tired of all these vanilla scents, but in this perfume, the vanilla was just right! I think the perfume is suitable for both daytime and evening, and I really believe this will be a favorite of mine this summer! It feels fruity and soft while also luxurious and feminine. I really think this perfume is a home run, it's fun to see something new on the market! For me, the perfume has also lasted a long time, I've been able to wear it all day and received comments about smelling good in the evening. A big plus when the perfume still costs a bit! Fruity and Playful Passion
Power of You is a lovely and playful perfume that stands out from my usual taste profile. I am often drawn to musky, gourmand, and slightly vanilla scents, and that’s why I was curious about this one, especially since it’s marketed as gourmand with vanilla in the base. I have two perfumes that have followed me since I was in high school, which is over 10 years! Everyone around me associates these perfumes with me🥹 So to make it easier to understand my review, it might be good to know what my top two favorites are. Chanel eau vive and YSL black opium (yep, I’m that girl🙈). But I’m working hard with lancome la vie est belle, as it’s a blend for me of my two perfumes but more of an everyday perfume. ✨ The scent opens very fresh and fruity, with passion fruit coming through strongly. The fact is that the passion fruit dominates so much that it’s almost the only note I experience, from start to finish. That’s in itself something positive if you like fresh, fruity perfumes, and the longevity of the fruity tone is impressive✨ Personally, however, I had hoped that the middle notes and base notes would get more space. The vanilla that’s promised in the base never really comes through on my skin, and the overall feel is more fresh and fruity than warm and gourmand. For me, it’s therefore a bit misleading in its description; I wouldn’t really call it a gourmand scent. But that’s also what’s difficult about perfume, that it’s experienced so differently on different people. Not perfect for me, but maybe perfect for you🫶🏼 I have no problem wearing it because there’s still something playful about it, but also because I don’t have anything similar. Elegant and warm
I have tested this perfume for a few days now and have come to the conclusion that it unfortunately is not to my taste. The design of the bottle I think is absolutely fantastic: simple and elegant. But the most important thing about a perfume is that you enjoy the scent, which I do not. I think the fruity notes are great, but it’s the vanilla notes that bring down the rating for me. I do not enjoy a vanilla-based perfume at all, and that’s the only reason I do not fall for this one. Otherwise, it is a mature scent, sometimes I find that vanilla can become a bit watery, sweet, and youthful, but this one feels grown-up, warm, and elegant. It also smells just right, not too strong and not too weak. The reason I still give it 3/5 stars is that I think it’s a good perfume, even though I personally wouldn’t want to wear it.
