After applying in the morning, the perfume lasts a very long time - all the way into the evening and night, it also has good projection and people around you can easily smell it. However, it starts off very synthetic, and will smell synthetic and "heavy" in the first 1-2 hours, after which it will mellow down to a pleasant, office-friendly scent. I actually didn't have high expectations. I thought it was just another version of a classic I knew all too well. But Acqua di Giò - EDP surprised me. It feels more mature and more balanced than the original, which I now think feels a bit too youthful and light. Here I get a scent with more character and presence, without it becoming heavy or intrusive. I feel well-dressed and confident when I wear it. It fits perfectly for both work and evenings out. It doesn't make a fuss, but it is remembered. (Though it might seem too “safe” for niche enthusiasts.) I am participating in a test panel and have received a free test product.

Acqua di Giò has always been a classic, but this perfume version is my clear favorite! It is definitely the summer scent for the light nights, where you are out enjoying the day and evening with friends. BUT! The perfume version is stronger in its sweetness and citrus, which it won't play well with the cold winter nights, where a musk and warmth come through, where I personally go with Code from Armani.
