Not as much effect as I hoped for😅
Testing a bottle of Olaplex's Bond Smoother now, and unfortunately I have to say I haven't noticed as much effect as I hoped for😅 I think the hair looks so greasy if you apply it to dry hair. So now I've only used it on towel-dried hair before blow-drying, since it is heat-protective and reduces frizz🥰 I think it works fine for that, but nothing Wow. 🤍✨ A leave-in I always want to have at home!
I’ve really gotten hooked on Olaplex No.6 Bond Smoother! This is one of those products I immediately notice I’m missing when I don’t have it at home. 😂 I usually take a small amount in towel-dried hair and distribute it mainly through the lengths and ends. The texture is creamy and quite concentrated, so I really think a little goes a long way. The first time it’s easy to use too much, but once I find the right amount, my hair feels really nice afterwards. What I like the most is how soft and smooth my hair feels. It becomes much easier to detangle, and I think the lengths get a smoother feel without the hair feeling heavy or greasy. 🥹🤍 I like to use it before blow-drying, but I also think it works well on dry hair when the ends start to feel a bit dry or when I want a bit more control over frizz. And the result after blow-drying is really a favorite for me. The hair feels silky, shiny, and more well cared for, almost as if I actually spent a bit more time styling than I really did. 😂✨ The scent is also very lovely. It feels clean and luxurious without being overwhelming, and I like when the hair still smells nice after styling. What I appreciate extra is that it’s such a simple product. I don’t need to mess around with five different leave-in products to get my hair to feel nice. A small dollop, distribute in the lengths, and then I’m ready to style. The only downside is really the price, since Olaplex is a bit higher than many other hair products. But since it’s so economical and you need so little each time, I still think it feels worth the money. My hair loves this! I've mixed a small amount of Wella hair oil into this and applied it to the ends and lengths – after just a week, the condition of my hair has improved. Initially, my hair was dry, brittle, and frizzy from lightening – I bought this product to use alongside trimming the ends and the K18 treatment, and it has been an excellent product. Olaplex leave in
I have been using K18 for 2 years and noticed many positive effects. According to recommendations on social media, Olaplex leave in was supposed to be similar, so I also bought this leave in. But after a few weeks, I also noticed (like other reviews) that my hair was breaking. I have Asian hair mixed with Scandinavian. Unfortunately, it did not suit my hair type at all. K18 is more like a treatment in small amounts after washing, while Olaplex No.6 is a richer styling leave-in that can weigh down finer hair if used too often or in too large an amount.
