Lovely shampoo
I have also received this shampoo from the brand #KERASTASE to test as a #LYKOTESTPILOT. Very fun test since Kerastase is one of my absolute favorite brands in hair care🤩 The shampoo lathers very well, and you really don't need much product per wash. Economical product! I always shampoo my hair at least 2 times to get it really clean and fresh🧖‍♀️ Kerastase always has such nice and luxurious packaging✨ Pink is also my favorite color, which makes this product line extra pretty in my eyes🧷 However, the caps for both the shampoo and conditioner are a bit tricky to screw back on when you're in the shower with wet and slippery hands. The scent is luxurious and fresh in the shampoo, and the scent lingers even after the shower. However, I sometimes find it a bit too strong, so maybe not for the most sensitive. My hair feels soft, smooth, and fresh after use. To know if it helps against hair loss, you probably need to use it for a longer time, but I will continue to use it and see if I notice anything. My hair stays clean for a long time with this shampoo, I also experience🌸

Terrible smell
Smells just like mosquito repellent, and my hair smells very strongly after washing until the next wash, when the smell intensifies again. THIS SMELL IS AWFUL. If you're sensitive to scents like I am, you should definitely skip this. My hair breaks just as much during washing and afterwards. I haven't noticed any effect on hair loss/breakage 😔 but I will use this up because it was the most expensive shampoo and conditioner of my life. My hair looks wonderfully clean and voluminous when washed with this.

Pretty okay and gives a very nice shine
I’m glad I got to test this product as part of the Lyko Test Pilot program, in exchange for an honest review❤️ First impression: The packaging has a nice color that gives a luxurious impression. The scent is strong. Experience: Already at the first wash, I noticed that the shampoo is very concentrated – a small amount goes a long way and it lathers abundantly. My hair feels clean without becoming rough. My hair type: My hair is treated and colored, porous and dry. I wash my hair about once a week to avoid wear. Result: After washing, my hair feels clean and shiny. The scent is strong and lingers for a long time. However, I haven’t noticed any difference in strength or reduced hair loss, but as a cleansing and shine-giving shampoo, it works well. Mediocre shampoo
Kerastase shampoo Genesis Bain Hydra Fortifiant Shampoo is a strengthening shampoo that protects weakened hair prone to hair loss. Contains a unique blend of ingredients that reduce hair loss. During periods of significant hair loss, the product from Kérastase strengthens the hair follicle and thus reduces the risk of hair falling out. The formulation soothes and reduces itching by strengthening the naturally protective barrier of the scalp. I have been trying this shampoo for 3-4 weeks now. I have medium-length blonde hair with light highlights. The hair strands tend to break easily. I hoped to achieve improved hair quality with less hair loss and broken hair strands. The first wash with the shampoo was not a success. The hair felt hard and tangled. This improved after several washes and regular use of the shampoo. I also had some itching and a sensitive scalp. After two weeks, the itching decreased. After 3-4 weeks, there is little tenderness and itching. It will be exciting to see after a full “treatment” of six to eight weeks if the shampoo can reduce hair loss/ broken hair strands. [hashtag] [hashtag]

Holds what it promises!
I have had the honor of being #lykotestpilot and received Shampoo, Conditioner, and Serum from #kerastase in their Genesis Series 🌸 Finding a hair care line that both prevents hair loss and simultaneously cares for the hair deeply is a challenge, but Kérastase Genesis has truly impressed me. 🤩 As a breastfeeding new mom, I have experienced increased hair loss, something many can relate to, but after using the entire line – shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in serum – I have noticed a clear difference. My hair feels stronger and healthier🌸 Kérastase Genesis shampoo is a real hero when it comes to strengthening and caring for the hair. Already after the first few weeks, I saw less hair in the brush and in the shower, which gave a reassuring feeling that the product actually lives up to its promise🌸 The shampoo smells wonderful and cleanses deeply, while the hair stays fresh and clean long after washing – perfect for a hectic everyday life. 🫧 However, I do find that the shampoo can leave the hair a bit rough right after rinsing, which makes me want to complement it with a moisturizing hair mask for extra softness. Additionally, the product is incredibly economical, which means the bottle lasts a long time. ✨ The scent is elegant and a bit more on the masculine side than I expected – a sophisticated, almost unisex character that feels modern. The packaging is sleek and exclusive, making it a nice detail in the bathroom and giving the entire hair care routine a feeling of salon care at home. 🌸

Delicious shampoo!
I have been so lucky to be #lykotestpilot for #kerastase's genesis series, both shampoo, conditioner, and the serum. I love the shampoo and conditioner, they don't weigh down my Nordic fine hair and smell amazing. I've only used them for a little over 2 weeks (received the products a bit late compared to the review deadline), so I can't give a full assessment on whether it has helped with hair loss. But I can definitely say that I will buy the products again when I run out 🩷 The combination of the products feels very delicious, and I will definitely come with an updated review eventually 😍 I don't give the products full score on the star scale due to the price as they are quite pricey products and I still can't assess whether they are worth it in terms of purpose ☺️ #lykoreview

Incredible shampoo!
I’ve also been lucky as #lykotestpilot to get to try this shampoo from #kerastase at home for 4 weeks. I’ve dyed Scandinavian thin hair that has been extra dry and damaged this summer. It completely lacked shine and had a lot of frizz! 😅 This shampoo is that it is very concentrated and lathers a lot, 🫧 which I like! You don’t need to use much product at all, and I find that my hair smells fresh and feels very clean. I’ve used this 4 times a week and shampooed my hair 2 times every shower. Still, I haven’t even used half the bottle 🤩 My experience is that my hair has become incredibly soft and shiny, and all the frizz has decreased after using the shampoo and conditioner from this series! 💖 I will definitely buy this again 👍

Effective and gentle shampoo with long-lasting freshness!

The bottle is sleek and elegant in typical Kérastase design, with a light pink color and silver cap. It gives an exclusive and luxurious expression that looks great on the bathroom shelf! The experience in use is also very good. The shampoo lathers nicely without being excessive, and it distributes easily in the hair. It gives an immediate feeling that the hair is being thoroughly cleansed, without feeling drying. After washing, the hair feels clean, airy, and light. A big bonus for me is that the hair stays fresh for a long time after use. I haven't needed to wash it for about 6 days! It is very satisfying to have a shampoo that actually keeps the scalp balanced over several days, without the hair feeling greasy or heavy. When it comes to the effect on hair loss, it is difficult to assess after a short period of use. I have been using the product for about 3 weeks, and although it is too early to say anything certain about the reduction in hair loss, I feel that the hair feels stronger and the scalp calmer. I have a sensitive and dry scalp with inactive psoriasis, and it is important for me that products do not irritate. This shampoo works very well so far. No itching, tightness, or irritation. Additionally, the scent is mild and pleasant, giving a clean and fresh feeling without being overpowering (which I appreciate)! All in all, I am very satisfied with this shampoo! As #LYKOTESTPILOT, I have tested this shampoo from #KERASTASE for about four weeks, and I must say that the first impression is very positive! 🙌 I have thick and straight hair, and a scalp that can be a bit dry and sensitive. During the testing period, I washed my hair anywhere from one to four times a week – depending on need and daily routine. The shampoo comes in a lovely pink bottle that gives an exclusive touch in the shower, and it lathers quickly and well with just a small amount. The consistency is light, and it distributes easily in the hair without being too heavy or too runny. The scent is luxurious and distinct – for me, it was a good experience, but if you are particularly sensitive to perfume, it might be a bit much. I found that my hair felt clean and light, and it stayed fresh for a long time – which suits me well since I usually only wash my hair 1-2 times a week. A shampoo I will buy again!
This is the first shampoo I’m trying from Kerastase and I’m impressed. I usually always use shampoos that are focused on hydration and for dry or damaged hair, but I really liked the feeling in my hair after using this. Now, I don’t know if it’s the placebo effect that’s at play or the fact that I’ve been continuously using both shampoo, conditioner, and serum from the Genesis line, but I want to believe that I’ve lost less hair than I usually do during this period. I also appreciate that the bottle is transparent, something I almost never see with shampoo bottles, it’s easy to see how much you’re using and how much you have left in the bottle. I would also say that the product is quite economical, this despite the fact that I always shampoo twice. The only negative thing I have to say about the shampoo is that I don’t like the screw cap. A pump or a regular lid would have been more manageable in the shower. [hashtag] [hashtag]

Excellent for fine/thin hair!
I have now tested this shampoo from #kerastase for 4 weeks and am at least very impressed. My hair type: 🫧 Thin/fine hair - also known as Scandinavian hair 🫧 Color-treated hair (Balayage) 🫧 Oily scalp 🫧 Issues with hair loss & broken hair strands I find it very difficult to find hair products for my hair type. Most end up making my hair look dirty, due to too many oils and heavy products or silicones. This shampoo and this series are without a doubt some of the best I have tested for my hair. I have previously used volumizing shampoo to make my hair look lively, but then had issues with dry hair. This shampoo is the perfect middle ground between volume and hair that looks and feels healthy. 🩷 Something special that I have noticed when using this particular series is how easy the hair is to brush when it is wet (I am very careful with this and use a good brush that is meant for this). I find that the hair does not tangle and fall out, which is very rare for me. ✅ Economical formula ✅ Gentle on the scalp ✅ Natural volume without compromising hair health ✅ Hair feels clean for a long time 🚫 Strong scent of rose, which I personally like. But it might be worth considering if you are sensitive to scents! #lykotestpilot

I have been #lykotestpilot for shampoo, conditioner, and serum in this series for 4 weeks #kerastase #genesis. My hair type is bleached/dyed, porous, and dry, I think the following about the shampoo: ✅ Will last ~5 months ✅ Fresh scalp, hair feels clean without being dried out ✅ Hair loss has decreased (can't determine if it's the shampoo or the whole series) ✅ Good packaging, easy to take with you without risk of leakage (screw cap) ✅ Smells and scents just right 🆗 For the time the shampoo lasts, I think it's worth the price ❌ The shampoo smells like unisex perfume (but doesn't smell too strong) ❌ Hair smells "dirty" on day 2 By the end of the month, I would say that the hair I usually lose in the shower has decreased significantly, and I think the products perform as described.

Ingredients

Anti hair-fall fortifying shampoo for weakened hair, prone to falling due to breakage. Gently clarifies and reinforces fiber to reduce the risk of hair-fall due to breakage. This ultra-delicate formula is ideal for fine to normal hair to remove sebum and pollution particles from scalp and fiber. Its gentle cleansing action soothes and hydrates hair from root to tip, leaving a lightweight feel. Enriched with a combination of Edelweiss Native Cells and Ginger Root, the formula strengthens the fiber for intense resilience to reduce the risk of hair-fall due to breakage. Hair is prepared to be treated, fortified with a fuller and healthier look.

Use:
Wet hair then remove excess water before applying a quarter-sized amount of shampoo to the hair. Add water and emulsify. Focus this first wash on the scalp using finger tips to massage the scalp and remove impurities. Rinse thoroughly. Apply a second quarter-sized amount of shampoo and add water. The second lather will produce a more abundant foam which will help cleanse lengths all the way to the ends. Rinse thoroughly.
