A good easy-to-use palette🌿
The first thing I thought when I opened the palette was, now I’m lucky! These are colors that suit my pale tones well. In the clip, I use a little bit of self-tanner. The palette contains three shimmering shadows and two mattes; in the clip, I used all the shadows. I use the brown matte shadow the most because it works really well for everyday use for me. It quickly gives the illusion of more awake eyes. My eyelids are so-called hooded, and now that I’m older, they’ve also become fluffier. So happy that this shadow works well for me! When I do my makeup, I usually use a primer on my eyelids; then my eyeshadow always stays best. When I do my makeup, I do my eyes first and the rest of my face afterward; I learned this from a makeup artist I assisted briefly in the 90s in Stockholm. The packaging in hard-pressed paper (cardboard) aligns with this vegan and organic brand; I think it’s nice and feels different. It works well; the lid is held closed with a magnet. This palette has a mark or new logo on the side that is being worked in, and it reminds me of the Helen Rubenstein logo and also the colors. I think it’s nice, and even my male partner, who is completely uninterested in makeup but works in design, thinks it’s very nice. Not really my thing!
I got to try this palette! I like the packaging and that it’s not plasticky! A big plus ❤️ I usually go for simpler eye makeup, like just bronzer (for everyday), otherwise if I want something special it’s either purple or more shimmer! So this fits perfectly❤️ 🫶🏼 it’s a nice selection of colors that suit me! 🫶🏼 I like the simplicity of the palette, easy to bring along! 🫶🏼 I had to take quite a lot of eyeshadow for it to show up on the eyelid. Not very pigmented unfortunately! 🫶🏼 when I was home from work the eyeshadow had fallen off and settled in the lines 🫶🏼 the shimmer shadows are better applied with fingers than with a brush If I were to sum up this palette, it’s very mixed. I love the colors, the selection, and the packaging! But the actual wear and application don’t work for me unfortunately. My wish for eyeshadows is not to have to take too much product and that it stays in place all day (I had setting spray on when I finished my eye makeup). The silver shadow was my favorite, good pigmentation and nice shimmer. The rating is lowered because of the wear and pigmentation. I think the palette contains very useful and easy-to-wear shades that work both for everyday and party looks. The colors are harmonious and easy to combine, which means I often reach for this particular palette when I do my makeup. However, I would have liked to see a bit more pigment here as well. I feel the shadows require a bit of effort to really come to their own. At the same time, I’m not the most experienced when it comes to eyeshadow, so it might very well be that I’m not using the product in the best possible way. For example, I believe the colors could become more intense if applied with a damp brush or if a particularly good eye primer is used underneath. Therefore, I don’t want to say it’s a downside of the product itself, but rather that I might get even more out of it with a bit better technique. Nice simple palette, perfect for a quick look😍! I used it during a workday together with estelle&thild's primer. The glitter color is absolutely fantastic and also works great as a highlighter✨️✨️✨️. The darker colors aren't super pigmented but can be built up. All the colors blended very easily. Nice palette, poor pigmentation.
I had the honor of being #lykotestpilot for #estellethild and testing their eyeshadow palette Soft Neutrals! 💕 The colors are just as the name says, very neutral and nice, and perfect for a simple everyday makeup. I really like the colors themselves and think the palette is very nice to look at. But unfortunately, I had a bit of trouble getting the shadows to work on my eyelids. They crumble a bit, become uneven easily, and I also don’t feel like they last very well throughout the day. I’m used to using eyeshadow and have tested them both with primer and setting spray, but still couldn’t quite get the result I wanted. I think the shimmery shadows work a bit better and give a nice result, but overall I was unfortunately not completely sold on the palette. Poor longevity
The shades in the palette are really beautiful and just right for my taste, but the eyeshadows crumble quite a bit and the staying power on the lids is poor. The eyeshadows were also quite difficult to work with and layer, and there is hardly any pigment in the darker shades. Also, in my palette two shades look exactly the same, so I wonder if there might be a defect in my palette or if the shades are just really close to each other 🧐? And then the packaging. It is beautiful, but it gets dirty very easily and will probably also get pressed/flattened in the makeup bag at some point. Thank you for the opportunity to test this product. 🧡 The packaging feels pleasant in the hand, it is slim and simple. 🧡 I like that the palette has a mirror, it makes the product easier to use. Its small size makes it easy to carry with you. 🧡 Personally, I prefer slightly warmer shades than those in this palette. However, in my opinion, the shades are not too cool, but somewhere between warm and cool. The shimmery shades work better for me than the matte ones. The eyeshadows crumble and the staying power is not the best. Good, but not quite me
I’ve been lucky enough to test the Estelle&Thild Organic Beauty Gilded Gaze Eye Palette Soft Neutrals. I think the colors are very nice, but I personally prefer slightly warmer shades. The palette doesn’t take up much space in my bag or makeup pouch, so that’s a big plus. It’s also very convenient that there’s a mirror in the palette, so you don’t have to pack a separate makeup mirror when traveling. Great for everyday makeup
I noticed beforehand that many didn’t like this. So I started directly with the Nars primer. I also tested different brushes and got the palette to work. Nice and natural, but uneven pigmentation
I had the chance to be one of Lyko’s test pilots for Estelle & Thild Organic Beauty “Gilded Gaze Eyeshadow Palette.” Just like all the products I’ve tested from Estelle & Thild, the ingredient list is the big plus. You can tell they’ve put a lot of focus on creating gentle products both for the skin and for the planet. I like to think of makeup a bit like skincare – after all, it’s something we have on our face for large parts of the day. That’s why it feels extra safe to use a product with this kind of ingredient list. 👏 My first impression was nice colors. I rarely use eyeshadow, usually it’s just bronzer on the eyes – so I was immediately a bit extra happy about the brown shade, which felt like my favorite. However, it is somewhat less pigmented than the other shadows in the palette. On the other hand, I actually think the palette could be good for someone who is a beginner with eyeshadows, since it’s easier to build up an eyeshadow than to remove one that is super pigmented. The shadows have a nice powdery texture in my opinion! I also tested the brown shade as a contour on my nose, which worked well! I appreciate when a product can be used for multiple things. 🌟 Personally, I would have wished for a bit warmer tones in the palette, but of course that’s a matter of taste. Therefore, it’s especially good for you who like cooler, less warm eyeshadows. I’ve only tested the palette at home, but I think the wear throughout the day feels completely normal. Could be among the worst I've tried
Unfortunately, this was not a hit with me at all. For this price, you might as well throw the money into the sea. The formula crumbles and has no pigment. It is hard to work with and hard to build up. The colors are also not the nicest and the story is quite boring. That 3/5 of the shadows have glitter in them was also not fun since the lighter ones barely had any pigment. Do it over, do it right, I would say #lykoreview #makeup148 views
