A perfect hit for me as a day cream!
I’ve found a new favorite product, this cream! It feels luxurious and is really good. I have dry skin, really dry skin, and want a lighter cream that still makes my skin hydrated, plumped, and nice, and that’s exactly what this cream does! I’ve tested three products from Emma S, and this is my favorite of the three that I will definitely buy again! It has a sleek design, and I’m just making my fine lines look better, as it says on the packaging. I think my entire facial skin looks nicer and fresher with the cream. It’s really fun to be truly satisfied with a cream that’s mid-priced and that I experience as luxurious and yes, more expensive! I wouldn’t be surprised if it cost around 800 SEK. As mentioned, it provides good moisture and other things that really give a nice result on my skin, which is a bit older and has started to be called mature. But I can also really imagine that it suits younger people than me. It contains a little bonus SPF, since you never use enough of a day cream for full sun protection, so that’s just a bonus because of that. The moment I would think it’s enough as SPF is a dark day in December when I’m outside no more than 5-7 minutes during the few daylight hours. But it still feels fresh with a little protection. The scent is mild, soft, and fresh, I find the scent nice and exclusive. A scent that doesn’t take up space and perks me up in the morning when I use the cream. It’s not the same scent as the Emma S Hydrating series, which is also nice and mild. Unfortunately it didn't suit my skin
I have been able to test this day cream with SPF 20 for a few weeks and I was excited to use a day cream with sun protection since I usually prefer to use them separately. My first impression of the day cream was that the packaging felt luxurious and the scent was nice. It has that classic sunscreen scent that I like. The texture felt light but a bit oily. Unfortunately, the result of this was not just glow, hydration, and sun protection, but it clogged my skin and I got some bigger pimples, which I usually don't get. My skin type is dry on the surface with a more oily T-zone. I have slightly larger pores, so something in combination with my skin unfortunately didn't work. A rich cream that smells heavenly of vanilla 🤍🍦
At first, I thought it could never be worth 499 kr. But just the bottle is really nice and feels a bit more exclusive, love the pump part. Easy to dose the right amount. 🩶 I have used the product for 3 weeks in my usual skincare routine as #lykotestpilot The cream feels rich, creamy, and buttery, but not sticky. Very moisturizing and plumps the skin in a pleasant way. Gives a nice glow immediately✨. For me, who often chooses lighter creams due to acne, it almost feels like a “forbidden fruit” to use 😅 It contains fats (but I think it absorbs well within about 10 minutes). 🧴 Was worried it would trigger my acne, so I introduced it in small amounts (1-2 pumps) about every other day. During the test, I got a few extra small pimples that might be due to the cream, but I’m not 100% sure since I can get pimples for various reasons (need to test longer). 🔴 Together with Emma S. Hyaluronic Essence, I got irritation (probably due to the combination of fragrance ingredients). But with my usual fragrance-free skincare, I haven’t experienced any irritation. 🤍 I totally fell in love with the SCENT and sometimes want to apply more because of it (have to resist😅). Soft, skin-close, warm. Think vanilla ice cream with a little soft white flower, in a balanced way. But powerful, smells for over an hour on the hand (good to know if you’re sensitive). But nice and cozy.🍦🤍 Skin type: 34 years old, acne-prone and combination: surface dry + a bit oily T-zone during the day. Has fine lines. Can sometimes be a bit sensitive, especially to strong scents on the face (but this time it was fine). Super nice day cream!
The day cream comes in a nice, sleek, and practical pump bottle! The lid is silver-colored and gives a nice touch to the white bottle ✨️ The pump also dispenses just the right amount of cream! At first, it looked a bit little, but I quickly realized that you actually don’t need more 😁 The face cream itself is rich in texture and easy to spread over the face. The color is creamy white and it has a cozy skincare scent 🥰 As a little bonus, it also has SPF 20 🌞 I haven’t really seen any difference in my small fine lines as promised. The cream that meets my expectations
I got to try this day cream from Emma S along with their facial cleanser and moisturizing toner, and I find that all three products together are a very good combination in a daily skincare routine. My skin is normal to combination, but I have periods where it becomes very dry. During these periods, makeup doesn’t sit well and the skin doesn’t absorb products as it should. I have previously tried different creams that either gave a good glow but poor hydration, or good hydration without glow. What I’m looking for in a day cream is exactly a balance between hydration, nourishment, and radiance. This day cream really delivers on all points. It hydrates the skin properly while giving a nice glow, and it’s a big plus that it also contains sun protection. After about three weeks of use, I noticed a clear improvement – my skin went from very dry to feeling soft, hydrated, and more balanced. The packaging feels luxurious and I like the pump function, but one downside is that the bottle isn’t transparent, which makes it hard to see how much product is left. Another downside is the price, which can feel high – especially if you use several products from the same line. Despite this, I think the product is worth it, especially since it really makes a difference for dry skin. Nice cream
I have been selected to test some products from #emmas 🙌 About me: almost 38 years old, (even though my mind says 20 🤷🏻♀️) where age starts to show in the form of fine lines around the eyes and some deeper lines on the forehead. I have a combination skin type with an oily T-zone but drier and somewhat red cheeks. I'm not super sensitive but can sometimes react to e.g. retinol or strongly perfumed skincare. For about a month, I have used this every morning. It is basically fragrance-free, only the product itself has a scent, and it is a completely okay scent. I find it quite light in texture and it absorbs quickly and leaves no shiny residue, despite containing SPF, which in my opinion often makes creams greasier. I think it's great that the sleek packaging has a pump. Three pumps usually work well for face, neck, and décolleté for me. A month is probably too short to notice any major difference in signs of aging, but I will continue to give it a chance until it runs out. I will update the review if I notice any improvement. However, I think it provides a lot of moisture, which my dry cheeks appreciate! Plus for including SPF, even though I wish it was higher. This is a day cream packed with active ingredients meant to help the skin's elasticity. I think the packaging feels luxurious, I love when you don’t have to dip your fingers into a jar. The scent is mild and a bit sunscreen-like. Unfortunately, I find it a bit greasy on the skin. I love glow and thick moisturizing creams, but this one felt a bit more oily. And it was a bit hard for my skin to absorb. And unfortunately, a pretty big minus for me is that it only contains SPF20. I’d really like SPF50 on my face. So I would need to apply a stronger SPF on top, meaning another cream, and considering how greasy this cream is, I don’t know how my skin would react in the long run, unfortunately. I like it, but it won’t be a go-to favorite used daily. So fun to try new products from Emma S 😍 My skin: 🌵Dry 🌵Drier 🌵Driest 🌵 Almost 35 years old, with some lines and wrinkles 🌵 Exposed to lots of sun as soon as the sun shows up 😍☀️ The product: 🌸 A lovely cream that absorbs quickly 🌸 Convenient pump function 🌸 Nice and sleek packaging 🌸 Moisturizes well, but my dry skin would have liked even more hydration (this is why it doesn’t get a perfect score) 🌸 Great with SPF directly in the cream, although you need to reapply more SPF during the day if you’re in the sun a lot. I have been testing this day cream from me for a few weeks now. A little about my skin! gets easily red or Approaching 40 so fine lines Some areas incredibly dry My first impression of the day cream is that it feels luxurious, the container itself felt like a lot of time was spent on it. And I love day creams with pumps, they feel more hygienic. It should contain SPF 20 (which I don't like) I would prefer my 50 SPF. But otherwise a light day cream that moisturizes and gives a nice glow. Contains lots of good stuff like StimulHyal, Gautine Intense, Niacinamide and Jojoba oil & Glycerin. Would I buy it again? Good day cream with SPF20
I got the chance to try this face cream with SPF 20 and I was quite impressed. I am 39, almost forty, and I already have some fine lines. So I like to use products that have some form of sun protection factor in their composition, and of course I also use sunscreen. I thought this cream moisturizes the skin and gives a nice glow. The only problem for me, if not a big one, is that it takes a little time to absorb into the skin. But I really liked the product and I use it in the morning as part of my skincare routine, and it’s perfect before I apply makeup. It’s a good product that leaves the skin moisturized and protected.
