Never been so sad about loving a product before...
I've wanted to try this for a long time but stayed away because of the high price. Finally bought it and oh no... I'll need to buy it again. It's actually really good! Which hurts the wallet. Maybe the most expensive makeup product I've ever bought but maybe also the best. I apply it directly with my hands and it gives such a wonderful result. I have a lot of pigmentation spots from acne so I've previously used foundations with quite heavy coverage but don't like how cakey they often get. This CC cream doesn't have extremely heavy coverage but it evens out the skin tone and makes the skin look incredibly nice. It's made specifically to neutralize red tones but I find it evens out the skin tone beyond that as well. If you find this on sale, I can only recommend you buy it! 10/10 product. The packaging is simple, cute color combo of blue and green. Like the applicator – feels like I have control over how much I take out. Curious how it will be towards the end when there’s little product left. But most of all, I really liked how the matte version has a matte packaging while the glow has a glowing packaging. Matte has a consistency that reminds me a bit of a primer (see picture). It makes the skin matte. Feels moisturizing even though it gives a more matte appearance. I have combination skin (normal with oily T-zone) and sensitive skin. Got no bad reaction on the skin, so happy about that. Combined with Urban Decay matte setting spray, the skin stays very matte. BUT gave me dry patches around the nose and chin😭 But it should be said that with regular setting spray – it worked a bit better, but still not as desired. Also tried and combined different combos to find the best. Still unsure which combo I think worked best so I have to keep testing a bit. But definitely a trial and error before you find what works best for your skin. I think this is very good for oily skin – which I don’t have. I found that it absorbed well into the skin and moisturized, but not according to my needs. I have normal-combination skin and I’m 45 years old. I don’t need matte skin and I need lots of moisture and other goodies to satisfy my face.
