easy way to give hair protection
I have tested this product for a couple of days now and I am really impressed! UV Protection Treatment from Waterclouds has been a lifesaver for my color-treated hair, especially now that the sun is coming out. It feels light in the hair, gives a nice shine, and most importantly: protects the color from fading βοΈ I only use two sprays as well and sprayed from a distance so that a small amount was evenly applied to the whole hair. I particularly noticed how soft the hair felt after blow-drying and styling. The scent is fresh but not too strong, and the product doesn't weigh down at all, which is a big plus for me with fine hair. An easy way to give hair protection and nourishment at the same time. I will definitely continue to use it during spring and summer! Did wonders for my curls!
I have been using the UV Protection Treatment in combination with the Waterclouds Moist Hair Serum for a few weeks now. I don't know if it was the UV protection or the serum or the combination - but they did wonders for my curls! I have become a bit curly after having a child, so it is usually very difficult to highlight this! Here I was freshly showered and usually have a lot of frizz - but now there was only a little frizz! Whether it protects well against UV rays is hard to say, but it definitely FEELS like I'm being protected. Plus, it smells incredibly good! My first impression of Waterclouds UV Protection Spray was very positive β especially because of the sleek and aesthetic packaging. The product exudes quality, and I was excited to see if it could fit into my daily hair care routine, even though I don't use heat styling tools. Even though I am not the typical target group for heat protection, I had a really good experience with this spray. The mist is incredibly fine and disperses evenly, so you avoid clumps or wet spots in the hair β that's a huge plus! The scent is also really lovely, and I have used it as a hair perfume mist. An extra plus for me is that the spray provides good moisture to my dry hair without weighing it down. However, I think it might not be ideal for people with an oily hair type, as it could feel a bit too nourishing. I have dry hair and do not use straighteners, hair dryers, or similar. I prefer products that smell good, do not grease, and at the same time provide my hair with moisture and care. Therefore, it was exciting to test a product that is actually aimed at heat protection β but still turned out to have several benefits. Even though I haven't tested the UV or heat protection while styling, the spray has found a permanent place in my routine. It gives my dry hair moisture and shine, smells fantastic, and is pleasant to use. Gives good shine, but makes hair a bit greasy.
I have tested Waterclouds UV Protection Treatment over a period, and here are my thoughts: Application & scent: It is super easy to apply β the spray distributes easily and evenly in the hair, and I can easily comb it through afterwards. The scent is mild and fresh without being too perfumed β just the kind of scent you want in your hair on a sunny day. Effect: It gives a nice shine to the hair and promises UV protection, which is a big plus in the summer β especially if you color your hair. The only downside for me is that the hair can feel a bit greasy, especially right after application. However, it settles a bit after some time. Conclusion: A product with good shine and protection, and really easy to use. However, one should be careful with the amount. Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars. Oh, what was this? Sprayed lightly over dry hair but it became like glue, hopeless to try to brush out, the hair became dull, brittle, and felt dirty. The only positive was the scent, it smelled really nice. Divine scent
Ooooooomg!!! I love the scent of this! I think itβs good, but the only downside for me since I have frizzy and curly hair is that it dries and becomes like a texture/saltwater spray. I think my hair gets dry and hard from it. Rough product feel
I like that the product is free from drying alcohols and silicones, but unfortunately it leaves quite a rough product feel. My hair feels kind of rough, almost a bit greasy? Dry feeling
The hair feels very dry/stiff and looks very dull. Whether it provides any sun protection, I can't say, I haven't used it long enough to notice any significant difference. However, the hair holds its shape quite well throughout the day. I have curly hair that flies everywhere with the slightest breeze, but it stayed quite compact after using this.
