Balm > Shampoo
I have tested the balm from Waterclouds' Silver Refine series over the past 4 weeks, among other things. Here are my honest opinions and experiences about the balm! 🧼 Background 💇🏼♀️: I have thin, fine, Scandinavian, and treated hair. Three times a year, I go to the hairdresser to fully bleach the roots, as well as tone and cut my hair. Therefore, my hair can tend to absorb more of such products. I don't feel comfortable when the hair color becomes too cool and gray. Then I find that the hair easily becomes dull and lifeless. For me, the result is colder than neutralized when I have used the balm and shampoo from the same series together. Almost like I get that gray tone that was popular in 2016. I don't know if it's about my hair type, that I have treated hair, that I have tested using several products from the series together, or that my hair color is very light. 🩶 I think the balm works better individually with a regular shampoo. Then I find that there is a suitable neutralization that is easier to control the amount over the hair and the result with. I also think that the balm alone is better at giving liveliness and shine but doesn't quite achieve the result I desire. I generally find that shine can be quite difficult to achieve on very light, blonde hair compared to darker hair colors, so it's a plus in the right direction. ⭐️ I, with severe vision problems, appreciate the difference in appearance between the shampoo and balm bottles, as it really helps in the shower when I can't read what is on the bottles ♥️ I will probably continue to use the balm now and then to freshen up, neutralize, and rehydrate. I think it did quite well on its own! Brightens up well
I have tested the conditioner together with the shampoo and highlight treatment for the past four weeks. My hair is medium thick, dry, and gets frizzy easily. I had blonde highlights done in my hair almost exactly a year ago. The conditioner also has a fresh and mild scent that doesn't overpower, which I appreciate. The consistency is very thin and runny, unusually thin for a conditioner, I think. All three products have an incredibly nice effect on my blonde highlights, where the yellow disappears and a cooler blonde tone comes through. There is a big difference compared to before use. However, the conditioner is the weak link in the trio, it doesn't moisturize at all as I wish. My hair feels extremely dry after the conditioner and is hard to detangle. The frizz is also more than usual. It does get a bit better if I use a mask with a lot of moisture beforehand. But still, the conditioner doesn't really do what it promises. The packaging is good, it's easy to use and get product out of. I appreciate the design of the whole series. Clearer Blonde Color
I received this product for free through #lykoinflutester 💌 I have long, bleached Nordic hair that quickly gets oily at the roots but also needs care in the lengths. I have been testing the Silver Refine Conditioner as #lykotestpilot for four weeks now. I love the idea of a silver conditioner since you can leave it in the whole hair. At first, I was skeptical about this product as I felt it didn’t provide enough moisture, but later I realized that it was a good thing. This way, I could apply the product to the whole hair without it getting weighed down! I usually put a regular conditioner/hair mask in the lengths, and it works perfectly. Good correction, not very nourishing☁️
This conditioner does the job when it comes to removing yellow tones, and it pairs well with the rest of the Silver Refine series🌟 It has the same nice scent and gives an even and nice result in blonde hair, I think💌🧖 For my hair, which is bleached and quite damaged, it unfortunately feels just a bit too light. I need a more extremely nourishing and repairing conditioner, and this one doesn't quite provide enough moisture and care to fix dryness. However, I believe that people with less damaged or more normal blonde hair can benefit greatly from this, especially in combination with the shampoo. Silver conditioner that does the job!💜
Together with the other products from the Waterclouds Silver Refine series, I am very satisfied with this conditioner. It becomes a perfect complement in my hair care routine!🫶🏻 I have used the silver shampoo from the same series every other wash. When I don't wash with silver shampoo, I use this conditioner to still maintain a cooler tone and provide shine and moisture to my bleached hair. It is easy to apply and feels soft and moisturizing in the hair. It doesn't give as "dramatic" an effect as the silver shampoo, so I see this product more as a complement between washes rather than just using this product to tone the hair. The conditioner helped keep the blonde shade fresh and cool between silver shampooings, while the hair felt soft and well cared for. Softening and color-correcting
The dark purple conditioner has a rather loose consistency compared to "regular" conditioners, but feels like a good consistency when I compare it to other silver conditioners. The scent is sweet but fresh. When using it, it's easy to distribute the conditioner evenly through the lengths, and the hair softens immediately, which removes any tangles. I have Scandinavian hair with many fine strands that often clump together at the nape. This conditioner softens and distributes the hair nicely while I get a good effect from it lightening yellow pigmentation. Pretty okay
I got to try the silver refine conditioner from waterclouds. I think this silver conditioner is pretty okay, it gave a nice cool tone to my hair, didn’t turn blue/purple like some can, so I’m very satisfied with it. However, I felt that it didn’t really give me the moisture that my hair needs from a conditioner since my hair is quite dry, I had to use a lot of the product for it to be somewhat moisturized. Great conditioner
I have had the honor of testing this silver conditioner from waterclouds. The packaging is nice, and the conditioner smells really good. It has a deep violet color and gives a nice result on the lengths. Removes some yellow tones, but not dryness
I have been using Waterclouds Silver Conditioner for a few weeks now, along with the silver shampoo from the same series 💜 I use silver products about once a week and not with every wash. I have light, thin Nordic hair, and for me it’s important that a conditioner provides softness, moisture, and a bit of shine ✨ The first thing I noticed was the consistency, it’s much thinner than I expect from a conditioner, and reminds me more of a shampoo than a classic, creamy conditioner 🧴 I had to use a bit more product, and didn’t get the usual smooth feeling in my hair while it was working 🫧 The scent is perfectly fine 🌸 Mild, clean, and fresh, but nothing that stands out particularly. After rinsing, my hair felt clean, but I missed the feeling that my hair was actually properly moisturized 💧 When my hair was dry, I found it a bit dry and frizzy, and without much shine, which brings down the overall impression 💭 All in all, this is a perfectly okay conditioner, but it doesn’t give me what I’m looking for in terms of moisture and softness ✨ It works fine with the shampoo to remove the worst of the yellow tones, but gives no wow effect. Silver conditioner that works
I have been given the task to be #lykotestpilot for #waterclouds. Incredibly fun to get to test these products 🥰 This conditioner really gives the hair a cool tone and removes the yellow. I saw a difference right after the first use. I like that there is a high pigment of purple in this conditioner as I find it more effective than other silver conditioners I have tried before. It also smells very fresh 😊 However, I experienced that my hair became dry after using both shampoo and conditioner. And even though I tried to get it evenly throughout my hair, there were some uneven cool tones, some strands pulled more than others. Waterclouds Silver Refine Conditioner is very effective against yellow tones. My hair felt fresh right after use and moisturized. How to use:
